Lecker und guter Service, entspannte Atmosphäre. Komme gerne nochmal wieder. Ich dachte zuerst, ich hätte mich verfahren - doch plötzlich kam mir das Gebäude mit dem Schriftzug „Golfclub Mettmann“ aus Bildern bekannt vor. Das steht nämlich außen am Gebäude

Wir waren zu viert zum Essen. Der Service war sehr gut und die Beratung bzgl. des Essen war hilfreich. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das gesamte Restaurant war ausgebucht, zudem wurde noch ein 50.ter Geburtstag gefeiert. Trotzdem lief alles sehr reibungslos ab.

Immer wieder zu empfehlen. Alles was ich bisher von der indischen Karte bestellt habe, war extrem lecker. Und der Rest wird auch noch probiert.

„Art of Spices“ im Golfclub Mettmann hat uns bisher jedes Mal überzeugt – sowohl beim Essen vor Ort als auch bei der Lieferung. Wir haben dort schon mehrfach bestellt und wurden nie enttäuscht. Die Speisen sind frisch, aromatisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders positiv ist, dass die Qualität auch bei der Lieferung konstant hoch bleibt und das Essen immer heiß ankommt. Der Service ist freundlich und zuverlässig, das Ambiente vor Ort angenehm und einladend. Wer leckere, authentische Küche und guten Service schätzt, ist hier definitiv richtig.

Für mich und meine Familie mit Abstand das beste indische Essen weit und breit. Wir waren schon oft da und jedes Mal ist das Essen absolut authentisch, super frisch und dasselbe Gericht schmeckt jedes Mal ein wenig anders aber bisher jedes Mal fantastisch! Für uns ein Zeichen, dass absolut alles selber gemacht ist. Ich nehme mir jedes Mal vor mal was anderes zu probieren aber lande doch immer wieder bei den gleichen Gerichten! Dazu kommen die netten Mitarbeiter und ein absolut sympathischer, offener Chef! Für jeden der gerne indisch isst, ein absolutes muss!

Wir haben ein tolles Muttertags-Abendessen im Art of Spices gehabt! Die Location ist vom Interieur und von der Lage etwas ungewöhnlich, aber das heißt keineswegs, dass es negativ ist. Eine Anreise mit dem Auto ist zu empfehlen. Die entsprechenden Parkplätze waren auf dem ersten Blick nicht direkt ersichtlich. Diese sind etwa 150m fußläufig vom Restaurant entfernt. Der Zugang ist barrierefrei. Es gibt viele Sitzgelegenheiten und wir hätten eine Reservierung vermutlich nicht gebraucht. Die Gestaltung lässt sich als klassisches Vereinshaus mit relativ moderner Einrichtung und Kunstgemälden beschreiben. Also untypisch indisch eigentlich. Nichtsdestotrotz hatten wir ein angenehmes Ambiente mit Blick ins Grüne und der untergehenden Sonne bei herausragend gutem Essen und einem aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service sehr genossen. Auch der indische Chenin Blanc hat sehr harmoniert. Wir möchten unbedingt wiederkommen! Herzlichen Dank!

Nette Leute , und gutes essen TOP

Sehr zu empfehlen. Von Vorspeisen über Hauptgericht bis zum Dessert war alles geschmacklich ein Genuss. Sehr gut und fein gewürzt und genau das was man von der indischen Küche erwartet. Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Ich gehe sehr gerne zum Art of Spices. Der Service ist hervorragend und das indische Essen ist echt super. In Mettmann und Umgebung das beste indische Restaurant. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut und die Portionen sind ausreichend. Das Garlic Naan ist ein absolutes muss. Den Lieferservice haben mein Partner und ich zuletzt ausprobiert und das Essen kam warm und gut verpackt an.

Wir waren erstmalig hier und fühlten uns auf Anhieb wohl. Das Essen ist super: man kann "normale" Gerichte bestellen, es bietet sich aber an die indischen Gerichte zu probieren. Diese stehen in scharf, mittelscharf oder mild zur Auswahl. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Räumlichkeiten sind großzügig, keine Enge bei den Tischen und Sitzgelegenheiten und im Sommer steht auch noch die weitläufige Terrasse mit Sicht auf den sich anschließenden Golfplatz zur Verfügung. Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Leckeres Essen, hilfsbereit bei der Speisenauswahl, freundliches Personal

Bestellungen werden oft vertauscht. Heute wurde uns die falsche Lieferung zugestellt (hatten diese Situation schon mal). Angerufen, der Laden hat sich entschuldigt und uns „unsere“ Lieferung gebracht. Diese war wieder fehlerhaft. Wir nochmal angerufen, uns wurde zugesichert, dass uns unser bestelltes Essen nachgeliefert wird - nie wieder was vom Laden gehört …. Ein absolutes no Go!!!

Mit Abstand eins der besten indischen Restaurants im Kreis Mettmann. Sehr gute Küche, zu empfehlen sind die Gerichte vom Tandor. Der Chef und das Team sind einfach nur spitze. Ob im Sommer draußen auf der Terrasse, oder im Winter wir kommen immer wieder gerne dorthin.

Schon so oft dort gewesen und immer wieder total zufrieden.

Dieses Restaurant wurde von einer Kollegin vorgeschlagen für unsere Betriebs Weihnachtsfeier. Nur die Kollegin war schon mal da, für alle anderen war es das erste Mal. Die Fahrt mit dem Auto zum Restaurant war mühsam, es führten schmale asphaltierte Straßen zum Golfclub wo sich das Restaurant befinden soll. Aber es gab so gut wie gar keine Schilder wo das Restaurant sein soll. Meine Kolleginnen und Kollegen und ich sind ca 20-30 Minuten durch die Gegend gefahren und gelaufen ohne den Laden zu finden. Wir haben mehrere Leute die dort rumliefen nach dem Weg gefragt und haben es dann doch nur durch Zufall gefunden. Der richtige Parkplatz zum Restaurant ist etwas weit ab vom Schuss ca. 200-250 Meter und auch nirgendwo Beschildert außer direkt an der Einfahrt zum Parkplatz. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, dass Essen war in Ordnung, aber für mich war die Portionen was man bekommen hat zu klein. Es trotz allem ein schöner Abend, aber noch ein Mal muss ich nicht mehr dahin.

Die Indischen Gericht sind alle zu empfehlen, frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Freundlicher Service, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr leckere indische Speisen, die man in dem sehr schicken Ambiente der Golfplatz-Restauration so nicht erwartet. Für neue Gäste ist es allerdings schwer, den Weg dorthin zu finden - besonders in der winterlichen Dunkelheit. Die Ausschilderung ist eher spärlich. Ansonsten ist alles top 👍

Spontaner Besuch im Restaurant mit Freunden. Das Lokal war samstagmittags leider recht leer, was das Ambiente ein wenig kaputt macht. Das Essen war dafür umso besser. Leckeres Chicken und Lamm Masala, dazu lockeres Naan. Gerne wieder.

I've become a regular customer. The terrace is a dream. The service is excellent. The golf club can count itself lucky.

Everything was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and relaxed. We would have come here as a family group. They also offer schnitzel for those who don't like Indian food. They cater to our European palates. If you want it spicy, they also offer it. It's worth stopping by; the prices are great. We'll be back.

This was our second time there. The first time, I would have given it three stars because the food was quite okay. Not this time. The restaurant b is difficult to find—perhaps intentional? We had the impression that, as non-golfers, we weren't welcome. The staff was anything but friendly. The young waitress was unkempt and was playing around at the counter in her open hands. While serving, she spilled some lassi and then wiped it across the table with her sleeve. The food was too salty, and the very watery lassi was absolutely inedible. We were ignored for most of the time and finally got up, paid at the counter, and left. The atmosphere was cafeteria-like, neither warm nor Indian. Never again!

Very good food! Friendly service. However, we had to wait almost two hours for our food, which may have been due to the fact that the entire terrace was full. Still, highly recommended.

The food here is a real treat...at a fair price! Our group of 10 was absolutely thrilled with the food, service, and ambiance! The wait was short, and the outdoor dining under the bog oak tree was excellent. It's truly worth a visit! 😁

Unfortunately, we couldn't get past the doorman, who was so extremely unfriendly that we found another restaurant. Perhaps the golfers prefer to keep to themselves? We were pretty stunned.

"Art oder Spices" – our favorite restaurant for Indian cuisine! Everything is just right here: Even the garlic naan with raita or pakora is a delight. The vegetarian or vegan curries, whether with vegetables, chickpeas, or mushrooms, are wonderfully spiced and taste great every time. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. The idyllic location at Mettmann Golf Club completes the experience. We're happy to drive the 20 minutes. It's worth it every time! 😍

You can get different levels of spiciness, and if you're not into Indian food, there are also German classics. But you're missing out...

Decent Indian cuisine with a selectable level of spiciness. Reasonable portions and good value for money. However, we have experienced better Indian cuisine. The atmosphere in the club house of the golf club is not at all Indian. The service is good, but we did not experience it as attentive as described in other reviews.

As a fan of Indian cuisine, I can only recommend this restaurant. I have never had better Indian food anywhere. Mega tasty, authentic and large selection. Perfect for vegetarians too. Great ambience. Great garden. I've probably eaten here a dozen times. Super nice hosts. For more conservative eaters, there is also a golfer's menu. In my opinion, the restaurant is very suitable for family and company events. There are enough parking spaces available.

I was there for the first time. The service is very friendly and attentive. The duck mango was outstanding. And the prices are ok. I'd love to come back and look forward to the summer when I can enjoy the view of the golf course outside.

We ordered there for the first time today and I'm thrilled: simply great! Finally there is good Indian food near us. I think it's particularly nice that mild versions are also offered - perfect for those who don't like it too spicy. My favorite: the butter chicken! Next time we look forward to eating locally.

How lucky that this restaurant exists as an alternative to the crisis-hit Mettmann gastronomy scene. The mini-trip into the countryside is almost like a micro-vacation, the food is deliciously seasoned and I'm not even halfway through the vegetarian options. Hopefully golfers won't decide one day to go back to home-style. Live long and prosper!

First of all, this was our first time eating something here. The map is generous and actually covers everything. The young man who served us on Saturday evening was first class. The food was okay, but nothing more. And due to the very short waiting time for the food, I suspect that the dishes are not freshly prepared. Which of course doesn't really work with a tikka masala. But with other dishes... Okay, it's a golf club restaurant, but I would have imagined the ambience to be a little more "Indian" and not so cold and sterile. There are certainly better Indian restaurants, not just in terms of the atmosphere.

We have often had good food there. This lunchtime was probably the kitchen overloaded because of the golf tournament.... The food was inedible... No comment from the operator.

Indian cuisine...is rare, so it has to be tested. Made it today and we were very satisfied. Chili Chicken was very tasty and the level of spiciness was still tolerable for us. We'll definitely come back!

Every now and then you come across a restaurant that deserves an excellent review. The same with this one, according to the reviews it would be excellent, and that turned out to be true. If we come here again in the future, we would like to make a detour to eat here again. HIGHLY recommended. We think Lassi (mango) is the best drink to accompany these dishes. In short... FUN (ps; you are NOT required to be a member of the golf club)

The taste was really delicious, the chicken was super tender and for an Indian sitting at a golf course, the prices are very competitive compared to other Indian restaurants! The service was good and more than hospitable. The journey is worth it! Here again a year later ☺️ and still very tasty!!!

I have now been here as a guest for the third time and have always been very satisfied. Friendly service and very tasty food, which is offered inexpensively in a nice and clean atmosphere. You can eat very well here, even if you are not a member of the golf club. The terrace is very large and inviting...and if you don't like Indian cuisine, you will also find other dishes. Good business card for this beautifully located golf course.

Full points! As soon as you enter, your nose leads you in to a beautiful ambience, fantastic Indian food and great advice. To be honest, I have only ever found Ginti in Cologne to be good Indian cuisine (I come from Düsseldorf and well, with us they just don't dare to reach into the spice pot..) - THIS HERE is a clear top on all levels. Recommendation! Take: paneer masala, chicken tikka masala, chicken tandoori, garlic - and sweet naan and the mango sauce - share everything with each other and be happy. If you like something spicy, you'll get your money's worth here. But you can also make it baby blurry. Great, people! Keep it up!

We were four adults and three children, all very enthusiastic about the service, the ambience and especially the food. Child-friendly and attentive service. Chef is also happy to recommend personally if you are not familiar with Indian dishes. Schnitzel with fries is also available. B. on the map. Delicious! There is a dish for every taste. Nice ambience. In the evening, drive through to the back door, do not park at the first sign on the right. So get to the small T-junction, then keep left and then on the right side. Very nice, open atmosphere. Tables not too narrow. Really very nice staff. Gladly again!

Had Indian food again after a long time. You could even smell the Indian cuisine from outside the restaurant, giving you a holiday feeling. The food was great, the service gave us friendly advice on the starters. The restaurant is not just for golfers. I'd love to come back and I'm looking forward to the summer so we can use the terrace.

So beautiful place and very very delicious Indian food

Wir sind heute mittag das erste Mal in dem schönen Restaurant gewesen. Das Ambiente hat uns schon mal super gut gefallen. Alles so hell und freundlich gestaltet und super sauber und gepflegt. Dazu die tolle Lage und Aussicht. Trotz trüben Wetter kam sofort Urlaubs feeling auf . Dann wurden wir vom überaus netten Kellner bedient. Wobei sich schnell herausstellte, dass der Kellner selber Koch ist und dieses Restaurant 5 Köche beschäftigt. Alles wird frisch zubereitet, was man schmeckt. Ich habe eine indische Linsensuppe gegessen, mein Mann einen Salat, dazu Naan Brot mit Knoblauch. Das war schon mal himmlisch lecker. Dann haben wir vegan gespeist. Gemüse Bällchen in einer tollen super leckeren Soße mit Reis. Es war eine reichliche Portion und wir waren danach mehr als gut gesättigt. Die nette Bedienung, das tolle Essen, dass war einfach grandios . Dazu die große Auswahl an vegan, vegetarischen Gerichten und das zu einem guten Preis. Ich kenne kein Restaurant in unserem Kreis, dass so viele vegane, vegetarische Gerichte anbietet. Hier kann man auch mit Fleisch essenden Freunden hingehen, weil es für jeden das Passende gibt. Wir sind so begeistert, dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen werden. Das war heute im dunklen nassen Dezember ein tolles Urlaubs Gefühl, da einfach alles passte. Wir werden garantiert öfter wieder kommen.

Nettes Team, toller autentischer Koch direkt aus Indien, sehr sympathischer Chef. Wer indisches Essen mag, wird dieses Restaurant lieben. Der Chef empfohl mir eine Art "Grillteller". Mit Lamm, Huhn und Garnelen. Ein Gedicht!

Das vegetarische Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker, aber bei der Ente ist viel Luft nach oben. Sie war einfach nur zäh und hart. Von der Beschreibung zartes Entenbrustfilet war das Resultat meilenweit entfernt. Als ich dies dem Kellner mitteilte hörte er sich meine Kritik an und reagierte mit den Worten: Wolln se noch en Bier? Wirklich nicht die Reaktion, die ich erwartet hatte. Die Soße war allerdings sehr schmackhaft und reichlich. Ob ich wiederkomme weiß ich noch nicht und wenn, dann nur für das vegetarische Essen.Ein zweiter Versuch, diesmal vegetarisch. Einfach lecker. Diesmal war der Service auch um Klassen besser. Nichts zu meckern, es stimmte alles.

Personal ist super freundlich und die Lokation auch in Ordnung,aber das Essen hat mehr nach einem Fertiggewürz als nach den typischen indischen Gewürzen geschmeckt. Alle Gerichte,die wir hatten,waren leider extrem salzig. Schade

Solides indisches Essen welches auf jedenfall an den deutschen Gaumen angeglichen wurde . Man kann die Schärfe mild Mittel und scharf auswählen bei allen Speisen . Mittel ist wirklich machbar wenn man nicht empfindlich ist . Für den Preis und die umfangreiche Speisekarte kann man nichts sagen . Die Speisen sind auch von den Gewürzen her ok . Ich persönlich würde mir , mehr Gewürze wünschen . Aber man kann es nicht alles recht machen ☺️ Wir gehen gerne und regelmäßig dort essen . Ich liebe die Linsensuppe ( Vorspeise )

Insgesamt eine klare Bereichung für Mettmann, Wülfrath und Velbert. Sehr geniales, leckeres und teilweise sehr günstiges Essen. Mega netter Chef und eine schöne und entspannte Atmosphäre! Ich komme wirklich sehr gerne ins dieses tolle Restaurant. Neben indischen Essen gibt es auch Nudel- und Fleischgerichte. Selbst die sehen gut aus und schmecken sehr gut. Schön sind die Öffnungszeiten am Mittags!

An excellent Indian restaurant with a stunning view of the golf course. The soup, naan, and veg biryani were delicious. It's delightful to go for a stroll around the course after a satisfying meal.

Das Beste Indische Restaurant was ich jemals gesehen hab schöne Golf Anlage drinne ist es sehr Luxus das Essen ist Grandios

Very good location to eat Indian food. High variety of different options. All can be selected in three versions (hot, spicy, mild / sweet). Very friendly staff. We called to ask for a free table Saturday early evening which was not a problem. Recommended desert was SWEET but good, and also espresso passed our judgement. Atmosphere is relaxed and quiet (no party), of course also some golfer ;). Prices ok, lower than expected as integrated in this "golf environment".
