Unfortunately it is not authentic at all. Instead of shashlik as I know it from my hometown, there were chicken wings, unseasoned, the fried potatoes were fried potatoes, actually fries, unfortunately also unseasoned. Unfortunately, the meat on the other chess kebab was dry and the meat was perhaps not pickled. And unfortunately it didn't taste like anything. Area is strange but quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Kindly meant 2 stars ❤️

A very atmospheric establishment with Georgian and Armenian cuisine. The food is delicious and the portions are very large, everything is homemade. You can order shish kebab, kebab, dumplings, khachapuri, pizza, salads, borscht, and there are also desserts. We were pleasantly surprised, ate our fill and took it home, we couldn’t finish it all! After a busy week, there's nothing better than spending a Friday evening with Arthur. The borscht was sensational and with a good portion of sour cream and a glass of vodka, as it should be. Thanks Arthur!

I wanted to reserve a table for 16 people and was informed that a deposit of €100.00 was required. I found this unusual, but was willing to accept it. However, I was informed that the deposit can only be paid in cash. When I asked if I had to travel to Mannheim specifically for this, I only got the answer: “And what should I do now?” It's a shame that more flexible payment options are not offered here and the customer friendliness leaves a lot to be desired. We therefore decided to go somewhere else with 16 people.

Nice family atmosphere, nice and attentive staff, unfortunately a bit inexperienced. We didn't have to wait long for food (there wasn't much going on at that time), but everything was still quick. The food tasted good, you really can't complain for the price and the portions. I have two or three small criticisms, but I don't think it's that serious. - would have liked to have something to drink after dinner, the glasses were empty for a long time but we weren't asked if we wanted something else to drink or dessert (you'll lose sales) - some dishes like fried pilmeni lie so carelessly on the plate - Napoleon cake is probably not offered on Sundays 🙈😅 Some room for improvement but of course I would still recommend it 👍 I'll probably come back 😉

The Kavkaz restaurant in Mannheim was a great culinary discovery! We chose the pork shish kebab skewer and were not disappointed. The meat was perfectly grilled, beautifully juicy and tender, with a slight hint of smoke that highlighted the grilled flavor wonderfully. The spices were excellently balanced and gave the dish an authentic, Caucasian touch. The ambience at Kavkaz is cozy and traditional, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The service was attentive, friendly and ensured we didn't lack for anything. Overall a great experience, both in terms of taste and atmosphere. If you like Caucasian cuisine, you should definitely stop by here. The shish kebab is highly recommended – we will definitely be back!

We had been wanting to come for a while and were very impressed with the food, everything was very tasty, the quality of the meat was good and the portions were also decent. The khinkali were very good, nicely seasoned, as were the pelmeni. Friendly service, everything went smoothly. It's difficult to get a parking space in the area, but the restaurant can't do anything about that.

Culinary excellent! The menu is not large, which in turn has a positive effect on the quality of the dishes. We tried a lot of things and everything was delicious. Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to try Caucasian/Russian cuisine.

Very tasty and always authentic. Anyone who has ever been to Armenia will always be reminded of the most beautiful time of the year in Kavkaz. In addition, the host, Arthur, is always available to guests and has a nice chat. An unexpected gem in the Neckar city.

Super authentic restaurant. My sister and I were there and we both agreed: “Just like home!” The food tastes like we are used to and the portions are huge. The only thing that isn't great is the location (narrow streets, strange area, hardly any parking). We therefore recommend traveling by public transport and not by car. We are already looking forward to the next visit ☺️❤️

The food was a true delight, with every dish showcasing incredible flavors. The Georgian chef is an absolute talent, bringing a unique and masterful touch to each plate. From the perfectly balanced spices to the beautifully presented dishes. This chef has brought Georgian cousin to another level. One of the best Georgian food I have tried in Europe.

This is a very big lie from occupying Russians! The Russians are trying to profit with Georgian specialties. Also, Georgian food tastes completely different than what you eat here and the location of the "restaurant" is terrible too! You can hear Russian music in the restaurant, it's not Georgian! Everything is a very big lie!

We spontaneously decided to eat shish kebab and were pleasantly surprised by the portion and side dish. I ordered Cheburek for tea. The salad was just a vegetable, the salad dressing was a little unclear, I didn’t understand either there was too much of it or it didn’t taste right. Overall a small, cozy, simple and clean establishment. We will keep this in mind for future spontaneous trips. Thanks to Angelina, she was friendly and attentive to us. They promised to expand the menu starting in March. Let's go for an update😃

We were there yesterday and celebrated a birthday, we were left with good impressions) Insanely good and adequate staff, which by the way is surprisingly rare, the wonderful girl Angelina was with us the whole evening and helped with all our questions 🫶🏻 The food here is simply amazing))))) Khachapuri in Adjarian style which is stuffed with a lot of cheese... IT WAS JUST UNREALLY TASTY😍😍😍 Tender and juicy pork kebab really pleased my taste buds, you won’t find a kebab like this anywhere in Mannheim!!! The portions are quite large and fully justify the price 🫶🏻 And very tasty cocktails 😍😍😍 Of the minuses, unfortunately, like in all establishments, they also exist here ( Relatively high prices for alcohol; for a bottle of vodka 0.5-0.7 you will pay from 50-70 euros. If you come to karaoke and you have a bad voice but your soul still requires a song, unfortunately this cannot be done in a separate room, you will have to torment the people sitting next to you ( But in general, if you want to visit this place, I highly recommend it, no one will definitely leave hungry.

Nice statement. But we apparently didn't have the best day. They say there is karaoke there, but it was turned off. I really liked Khachapuri, it’s 9.5 out of 10 (I kneaded the dough a little and the protein didn’t set completely). Khinkali is also good, but for me there is too much Cilantro. The shashlik was 8 out of 10 and the potatoes as a side dish for the shish kebab were very surprising. There is not enough hood for the room and there is no hot water in the toilet and the sink is also interesting. They say they will have changes to the menu... and yes there is no Dessert!!!!

Absolutely great food. It's so rare to come across Caucasian cuisine - but even without much to compare it with, you immediately notice that the food here is exceptionally good. My favorite are the Kinkhali, but I have now tried the entire menu and have to say: everything tastes very tasty. I'm happy every time I come to Mannheim and can take a detour here. Ambiance is different but very appropriate :)

We celebrated our Christmas party here. A small, cozy restaurant with such courteous and friendly service. The food was very tasty, the portions... no one will go hungry 😄 and the prices are really cheap compared to other restaurants. At the end there was cha-cha to digest. And for those who have had too much of it, there is still karaoke 😁. In one word -MEGA

Were there for the first time, I really like the ambience with the guitars and balalaika, decorated to match Halloween, the smoking area isn't completely built out yet, when it's finished it would be 5 stars, it already looks good with the starry sky. The service was nice and we had a great time chatting. We didn't have to wait long for the food, which is why it's 5 stars. The cheburekis tasted super juicy, as did the shish kebab, but something tasted different than at home 😉hence 4 stars. Either it was the spice or maybe a different grill, otherwise I'll give the overall result 4 stars. We'll be happy to come back

Ein weiterer Pluspunkt für "ART Kaukasische & Russische Spezialitäten" ist das äußerst günstige Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Angesichts der Qualität und der Größe der Portionen war ich angenehm überrascht, wie erschwinglich die Gerichte waren. Dieses Restaurant bietet wirklich Wert für sein Geld und ist eine hervorragende Option für preisbewusste Genießer. Ambiente: Das Ambiente in "ART Kaukasische & Russische Spezialitäten" war angenehm und ansprechend. Es schafft eine gemütliche und einladende Atmosphäre, die perfekt zum Genießen der köstlichen Speisen geeignet ist. Die Einrichtung und das Dekor trugen zu einem authentischen Gefühl bei und sorgten für ein rundum gelungenes kulinarisches Erlebnis.
