Delicious food, generous portions, and a cozy atmosphere. The only downside is that the restaurant is located in Edingen, not Mannheim. It's best to call to confirm, as the restaurant's website is currently under construction.

One of the best restaurants for Georgian cuisine; the chef there made better khinkali than any chef in Georgia. I haven't found better Georgian food in any other restaurant. This is an absolute must for anyone who likes or wants to try this kind of food. The only downside is that people will always say that Kavkas tasted better at other Georgian restaurants. 😅

Excellent and generous dishes. The serving girl was very nice and asked if anything else was needed. Unfortunately, only bottled beer. Khinkali to the song Vladimirsky Tsentral is of course interesting but not my thing 😂

No, out of three main courses. Two arrived 20 minutes apart. We canceled the third 45 minutes after the first main course arrived after repeated complaints, and the third guest left hungry. The last dive bar: every snack bar offers better service.

A true taste experience! I visited Kavkaz Restaurant today and was thrilled. The food was not only freshly prepared, but also incredibly delicious – full of flavor and presented with attention to detail. We visited the Kavkaz restaurant for the first time and were very pleased, pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, friendly service staff. We arrived hungry, ordered, as it turned out, a lot of food, large portions, there was an opportunity to try many dishes. We will definitely return. We have been to different restaurants, in different countries, but we have not seen such a nice, homely restaurant for a long time, there is a nostalgic atmosphere here.

It looks very much like a BAR from the 90s in the former CIS, the same color and atmosphere. We came to eat shashlik and khinkali and were satisfied. Very tasty and relatively inexpensive. We will definitely come back more than once!

Unfortunately I can only give 3 stars. Service was unsatisfactory, we weren't even offered anything or asked if everything was OK. The plates and glasses weren't cleared away until we pushed them in. Overall the food was delicious (unfortunately half of the khinkali was torn so the juice was gone / the herbs in the minced meat were chopped with stems or added very roughly / and also much too big), chebureki and khachapuri were great! Portions also huge! The children's pilmeni were completely forgotten and only cooked after we asked. 1L of juice was placed directly on the table in a PET bottle, which obviously doesn't make a good impression! There were even problems with payment. It was also terrible that the food wasn't put on the table for everyone at the same time, so the first people had already finished eating and the last people still had nothing (better to make everyone wait and serve at the same time). This rating isn't meant to be negative, but rather as motivation.

It was quite tasty, but we were a group and wanted to pay separately. It worked out, but we ended up paying too much for the sauces. I recommend it for 3-4 people.

This is a cute little Armenian restaurant filled with friendly people on weekends, it is a little louder on weekends and service is delayed by 5-10 mins. Recommended for friends catch, not recommended for family / formal gathering. Pizza tasted great!, Margherita to be specific

Unfortunately a failure. Meat was very tough and the dumplings were dry. Shish kebab means something different. Unfortunately the music was very loud and there was no outside area for eating because it was 28 degrees. We also felt unwanted. Then the shutters were closed in half the shop and at the bar. You felt very uncomfortable.

A few days ago we were in this restaurant. Honestly, I don't understand why this place has such good reviews. As someone with experience, I know what real khinkali should be like: here the dough was poorly rolled, there was no broth inside, the khinkali were huge, and in one we even found raw meat. The taste was spoiled by strange spices and herbs. For 15 euros per serving this is a big disappointment. We liked the shish kebab: the portion was large and tasty, and the side dish was also good. The Khachapuri looked appetizing, but in terms of taste it consisted almost entirely of melted cheese with a minimal amount of dough. The music was particularly noticeable - random Russian songs were playing very loudly. This made it difficult to have a conversation. In a restaurant with Caucasian cuisine, we would have liked more appropriate, atmospheric music. A plus point of the restaurant is its cleanliness. The strangest thing was that no one from the staff came to us to ask why we didn't finish our food or if everything was okay. Overall we were disappointed and will not be returning. The restaurant has potential, but the quality of the cuisine and the atmosphere desperately need to be improved.

The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable The food was simply delicious! Every dish I tried was lovingly prepared and perfectly seasoned. I would particularly like to highlight the variety of traditional dishes, it was a real pleasure to discover the different flavors and textures. I highly recommend KAVKAZ - it's a place where you can not only eat your fill, but also experience the culture and hospitality. A small suggestion for improvement would be to make the tea preparation even more authentic. A brewed tea from a samovar would perfectly round off the culinary experience and introduce guests to a touch of traditional culture. This would not only improve the taste of the tea, but also create a nice, sociable atmosphere that is perfect for a successful evening. Overall, my visit to KAVKAZ was a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to my next visit to discover more delicacies

The atmosphere depends on us. We liked the khinkali and Megrelian khachapuri. The shish kebab is not very good. In Georgia it is brighter in taste. The Olivier salad is no good. This is to my taste. The kebab was chicken and meat, the potatoes were not tasty. In general, everything can be corrected if desired.

Das Restaurant hat eine sehr stimmungsvolle Atmosphäre, es war sehr gemütlich. Das Essen ist einfach perfect. Sie haben gutes Khochapuri und das größte und saftigste Khinkali. Die Cocktails waren teuer (Mojito 8 Euro), aber ihr Geld wert, obwohl ich den Alkohol kaum schmecken konnte. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Musik im Hintergrund – zu hören sind slawische Lieder und Chansons. Ich empfehle einen Besuch für alle, die ihre Kultur und ihr Essen wirklich vermissen. Instead of shashlik as I know it from my hometown, there were chicken wings, unseasoned, the fried potatoes were fried potatoes, actually fries, unfortunately also unseasoned. Unfortunately, the meat on the other chess kebab was dry and the meat was perhaps not pickled. And unfortunately it didn't taste like anything. Area is strange but quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. A very atmospheric establishment with Georgian and Armenian cuisine. The food is delicious and the portions are very large, everything is homemade. You can order shish kebab, kebab, dumplings, khachapuri, pizza, salads, borscht, and there are also desserts. We were pleasantly surprised, ate our fill and took it home, we couldn’t finish it all! I wanted to reserve a table for 16 people and was informed that a deposit of €100.00 was required. I found this unusual, but was willing to accept it. However, I was informed that the deposit can only be paid in cash. When I asked if I had to travel to Mannheim specifically for this, I only got the answer: “And what should I do now?” It's a shame that more flexible payment options are not offered here and the customer friendliness leaves a lot to be desired. We therefore decided to go somewhere else with 16 people.

Nice family atmosphere, nice and attentive staff, unfortunately a bit inexperienced. We didn't have to wait long for food (there wasn't much going on at that time), but everything was still quick. The food tasted good, you really can't complain for the price and the portions. I have two or three small criticisms, but I don't think it's that serious. - would have liked to have something to drink after dinner, the glasses were empty for a long time but we weren't asked if we wanted something else to drink or dessert (you'll lose sales) - some dishes like fried pilmeni lie so carelessly on the plate - Napoleon cake is probably not offered on Sundays 🙈😅 Some room for improvement but of course I would still recommend it 👍 I'll probably come back 😉

The Kavkaz restaurant in Mannheim was a great culinary discovery! We chose the pork shish kebab skewer and were not disappointed. We had been wanting to come for a while and were very impressed with the food, everything was very tasty, the quality of the meat was good and the portions were also decent. The khinkali were very good, nicely seasoned, as were the pelmeni. Friendly service, everything went smoothly. It's difficult to get a parking space in the area, but the restaurant can't do anything about that.

Super authentic restaurant. My sister and I were there and we both agreed: “Just like home!” The food tastes like we are used to and the portions are huge. The only thing that isn't great is the location (narrow streets, strange area, hardly any parking). We therefore recommend traveling by public transport and not by car. This is a very big lie from occupying Russians! The Russians are trying to profit with Georgian specialties. Also, Georgian food tastes completely different than what you eat here and the location of the "restaurant" is terrible too! You can hear Russian music in the restaurant, it's not Georgian! Everything is a very big lie!
