Das Essen war fantastisch und die Bedienung freundlich. Das Restaurant ist hell und gemütlich. Sehr empfehlenswert für ein tolles Mittagessen.

Ich habe Döner bestellt, aber das Brot war sehr trocken und es kam nicht so, wie ich es wollte, es ist nicht so, wie es auf Liste stand. Also nicht mehr dort bestellen

Letztes Jahr habe ich dieses schicke Etablissement entdeckt. Arena Döner in Wolfsburg. Klingt erstmal wie Champions League, ist aber eher Kreisklasse auf Ascheplatz. Da unsere Tochter ein Faible für Ambiente hat – also Licht, Sitzgelegenheiten und Dinge, die nicht aussehen wie ein umgekippter Werkzeugkasten – fiel die Wahl damals auf dieses Haus. Rückblickend würde ich sagen: „konnte man essen“. Mehr aber auch nicht. Das ist kulinarisch ungefähr die Kategorie „Der Film war ganz okay, ich bin aber zwischendurch eingeschlafen“. Warum ich damals keine Rezension geschrieben habe? Weil ich finde: Jeder verdient eine zweite Chance. Sogar ein Döner. Nun begab es sich, dass Food Wave schon dicht war – durchschnittlicher Döner, aber Pizza wie ein italienischer Liebesbrief – Rezension ist raus, Freunde. Bruder Döner ebenfalls geschlossen – an dieser Stelle: bester Döner Wolfsburgs, ich verneige mich innerlich leicht. Also Arena. Zweiter Versuch. Es war halb elf nachts. Draußen und drinnen alles voll. Ein gutes Zeichen, dachte ich. Oder ein sehr gut getarntes Warnsignal. Wir also rein. Zwei Döner bestellt. „Wirste nix falsch machen können“, sagt man sich da noch, mit dieser naiven Resthoffnung im Herzen, die man sonst nur von Menschen kennt, die bei Regen ohne Jacke rausgehen. Dann kam das Ding. Das Fleisch: triefend vor Fett, als hätte es kurz vorher noch ein Ölbad genommen, um sich zu entspannen. Die Sauce: geschmacklich irgendwo zwischen „war da was?“ und „nein“. Das Chili: vermutlich abgestandener Cayenne-Pfeffer, der innerlich schon gekündigt hat. Der Salat: wirkte, als hätte er das Leben bereits hinter sich. Das Brot: lappig. Nicht weich. Lappig. Wie ein nasser Waschlappen mit Identitätskrise. Dieses Gebäude hat den Namen „Arena“ nicht verdient. Das ist keine Arena. Das ist ein Ort, an dem Hoffnungen kämpfen – und verlieren. Ich habe dann, vom Hunger getrieben, etwa die Hälfte dieses… nennen wir es „Objekt“… verzehrt. Es Döner zu nennen, wäre eine Beleidigung für jeden anderen Laden in dieser Stadt gewesen. Und dann passierte etwas, das ich so noch nie erlebt habe: Mein Körper hat rebelliert. Nicht dramatisch, nicht laut – eher so ein leises, bestimmtes „Bruder, wir gehen jetzt“. Ein Würgereiz setzte ein. Bei einem Döner. Meiner eigentlich heißgeliebten Speise. Das ist ungefähr so, als würde dir plötzlich dein Lieblingslied Ohrenschmerzen bereiten. Ich habe den Rest entsorgt. Kommentarlos. In den nächsten Mülleimer. Wie ein stilles Begräbnis. So tief ist mein Anspruch noch nie gefallen. Und meine Geschmacksnerven mussten an diesem Abend Dinge ertragen, für die man ihnen eigentlich einen Entschuldigungsbrief schreiben müsste. Fazit: Arena Döner – ein Ort, an dem man lernt, dass zweite Chancen manchmal einfach nur die Bestätigung der ersten Enttäuschung sind.

Das ist einfach und unkompliziert. Man kann so viel essen und trinken, wie man will. Deshalb ist man verliebt. Deshalb kann man es nicht loswerden, aber man kann es auch nutzen. Was ist an diesem Thema falsch? Man kann es gleichzeitig nutzen. Durumu anlatmak için aradığımızda da kimse ilgilenmedi. Umarım ileride servislerini düzeltirler, yoksa bu şekilde çok müşteri kaybederler. Unser Essen kam an, aber leider konnten wir es überhaupt nicht essen. Wir mussten es wegwerfen, weil es völlig anders war als das, was wir bestellt hatten. Es war sehr matschig und krümelig, das Brot war sehr trocken und zerfiel, und es war eindeutig alt und abgestanden. Der Geschmack war furchtbar, und das Fleisch war kein Schaschlik, sondern Dönerfleisch in kleinen Stücken. Das war definitiv nicht das, was wir bestellt hatten. Wir haben versucht, sie zu kontaktieren und das Problem zu erklären, aber leider hat es sie überhaupt nicht interessiert.

Pide Sucuk war eher mittelmäßig und leider von einer Lebensmittelvergiftung begleitet Der Lahmacun von meinem Akhi hatte einfach gar keine Soße und war dementsprechend nicht genießbar

Ich war inzwischen schon mehrfach im ARENA Restaurant essen und habe es jedes Mal wieder als sehr gut empfunden. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der freundliche, schnelle und stets bemühte Service – man fühlt sich als Gast wirklich willkommen. Das Essen ist lecker und die Preise absolut angemessen für die gebotene Qualität und Portionsgröße. Besonders der Adana Dürüm hat mich überzeugt: Das Fleisch war hervorragend gewürzt, schön saftig und geschmacklich so gut, dass der Dürüm selbst ohne Soße ausgezeichnet war. Auch die Pide war sehr lecker und zudem wirklich großzügig portioniert für den Preis. Insgesamt definitiv eine klare Empfehlung – ich komme gerne wieder.

Leider war meine Erfahrung sehr schlecht. Die Wartezeit war extrem lang und überhaupt nicht akzeptabel. Wir haben sehr lange gewartet, ohne klare Informationen oder Aufmerksamkeit vom Personal. Außerdem war das Restaurant nicht sauber, was die Erfahrung noch schlechter gemacht hat. Der Service war sehr langsam. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Leider hatte das Essen keinen Geschmack und der Aufenthalt war für mich sehr unangenehm. Das wird leider mein letzter Besuch sein.

Tolles Restaurant! Leckeres Essen!

Wir haben uns das Essen liefern lassen. Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt für mich nicht. Das Gemüse war in meinen Augen nicht frisch, dafür aber mit viel Öl. Der Döner ist mit viel Fleisch Weiskraut und soße auf Mayobasis. Jeder bissen schmeckt nur nach Soße. Frisch oder Knackig ist das nichts. Für mich leider überhaupt nicht zufrieden stellend.

Hallo. Ich habe Essen von diesem Restaurant bestellt, aber leider war ich sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen war sehr ölig und hat alt geschmeckt, überhaupt nicht frisch. Die grüne Paprika war zwar im Gericht, aber sie war komplett verschrumpelt und praktisch ungenießbar. Insgesamt war die Qualität des Essens sehr schlecht. Ehrlich gesagt ist es schade um das Geld, das ich dafür bezahlt habe. Für diesen Preis hätte ich deutlich bessere Qualität erwartet.

Die Toilettenbenutzung war in einem sehr schlechten und unhygienischen Zustand. Zum Zeitpunkt meiner Bewertung lagen außerdem zahlreiche benutzte Teller in einer Ecke, teils einfach hingeworfen und gestapelt. Ein solcher Gesamteindruck ist äußerst unangenehm und sollte dringend verbessert werden.

Was sollte man oder kann man über diesen Dönerladen sagen?! Angefangen mit einem kleinen Laden vor der Disco Nachtschicht und dann irgendwann umgezogen auf die Straßenseite gegenüber. Bis heute ist es einer der ältesten Dönerladen in Wolfsburg und die Qualität ist auch nach über 18 Jahren nicht schlechter geworden. Ich esse so gut wie nie vor Ort. Für mich zählt das Produkt und die Sauberkeit und da kann man einfach nicht meckern. Es Schmeckt einfach super. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Läden auch nicht zu fettig und die Portionen sind gut bemessen. Woanders bekomme ich weniger für mein Geld. Bleibt so und macht weiter!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seit über 20 Jahren kenne und besuche ich das ARENA Restaurant – und ich komme immer wieder gern hierher. Mit der neuen Generation und dem neuen Besitzer hat das Restaurant einen wunderbaren frischen Wind bekommen. Der Besitzer ist unglaublich sympathisch, herzlich und sehr aufmerksam im Umgang mit den Gästen. Man spürt sofort, dass ihm seine Kunden wirklich wichtig sind. Er kümmert sich um vieles persönlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich willkommen und wohl fühlt. Besonders schön ist, dass Stammkunden immer wieder mit kleinen Überraschungen verwöhnt werden – solche liebevollen Gesten machen den Besuch einzigartig. Das Essen ist hervorragend, die Atmosphäre warm und freundlich, und der Service stets aufmerksam. Ein wirklich großartiges Restaurant mit Herz – absolute Empfehlung!

Wir sind herzlich Empfangen worden und das Essen war sehr lecker 😋. Wenn wir in der Nähe wohnen würden kämen wir öfter. Schön war auch es gab Türkischen Tee.

Das war das schlechteste Pide, das ich je gegessen habe; selbst Holz war weicher als Pide, und es war einfach nur widerlich. Ich verstehe nicht, wie die Leute da hingehen können.

Möchte mich auf diesem Wege über den Fahrer von eurem Laden mit dem Kennzeichen WOB AR 53 beschweren der unachtsam an einer grünen Ampel stand und nicht gefahren ist demnach wurde er mit einem Hupen aufmerksam gemacht und er schaute erst zu Ampel dann zu uns nach hinten und blieb mit absicht weiter hin stehen. GEHT GAR NICHT! Er kann froh sein das ich mein Sohn mit im Auto hatte, sonst hätte ich ihn persönlich aus dem Auto gezogen!

Der Dönerteller war nicht Genießbar. Das Fleisch war nur Hack in trockener, mehliger Konsistenz. Dazu noch versalzen, ich will garnicht drüber nachdenken warum. Am liebsten hätte ich es zurückgegeben und mein Geld wieder verlangt. Definitiv nie wieder !

Sehr leckere arabische Küche, es gibt leckere Suppen, über Holzkohle gegrilltes Fleisch, gemischten Salat und nicht zu vergessen auch Döner. Manchmal wurde ich auf einen Tee eingeladen. Das Restaurant ist gut besucht, im Sommer gibt es einen Freisitz.

Das Essen war überraschend lecker, der Service war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider riecht es unangenehm im Lokal😕

I used to really enjoy eating at your place, but I haven't been there for a while. I recently got a doner kebab plate (around lunchtime), and the doner meat was ice cold, like you'd mixed in leftover meat from the day before. It wasn't juicy at all; it was very thinly sliced, dry, and dark. I'm beyond disappointed and definitely won't be eating at your place again. What a shame!

This is one of my favourite Turkish restaurant s in Wolfsburg. It is kind of ‘jack of all trades’ in food direction. Your döner will be good, your kebab will be juicy, your Iskender will be tasty. In the same time, there is nothing that would stand out for me. But sometimes, that’s all you need from a place. Staff is nice, serving is extremely generous and place is clean. Yep, pretty good, nice place. It gets my Turkish food expert seal of approval! Edit: Changed to five stars, the magic is in grill. Adana kebab 10/10! Top!

Great food, but the ambiance doesn't match. We ate there with two families. The food was really good, especially the salad, which was fresh, crisp, and delicious – you could tell they use quality ingredients in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the ambiance was anything but pleasant. We sat right next to the entrance, which was extremely uncomfortable in the cold weather with small children. Cigarette smoke and cold air constantly drifted in – every time someone came in, it felt like we were sitting outside. It's a shame, because such good food deserves an environment where you can actually enjoy it. If the layout or seating arrangement were improved, it would be a really lovely place to eat.

The food is incredibly delicious, appetizingly presented and fresh, the service is excellent and prompt, and the ambiance is cozy and modern at the same time. The only negative: the portion was a bit too large 😉 We'll definitely be back, even though we live a bit farther away.

The Arena Restaurant in Wolfsburg offers an impressive selection of oriental grilled dishes, especially for lamb lovers. Unfortunately, I have to make concessions when it comes to the quality of the rotisserie meat. The meat on the spit seems to be rather ordinary sausage meat and doesn't really correspond to what you'd expect from a kebab. Furthermore, it wasn't seared sufficiently, which further detracted from the flavor. Even "The Machine" couldn't salvage much here. Another point that caught my attention is the prices. When ordering a rotisserie meat dish, I find the prices disproportionately high, especially considering the quality doesn't live up to expectations. In my opinion, a snack bar should offer good value for money, which unfortunately wasn't the case here.

Important! This is a place to eat. To get your fill. It does that very well.

The only one that was open after 10pm, had a terrace and served decent food.

The food was okay, the service was polite and courteous, the ambiance rather mediocre. The outdoor seating area invited me to linger. I opted for an Adana kebab plate. The menu featured a rather appealing picture of the dish. The waitress asked if I wanted fries or rice as a side dish. I opted for fries, which I regretted. More on that later. First came my drink with a small bread basket. The bread wasn't warm, but it was still fresh. A small dip would have been appreciated, but it wasn't available. Next came a salad plate, which was very beautifully presented and tasted very good. This made me even more frustrated with the main course. However, my joy vanished when it was served: a plate covered in fries, with the Adana kebab on top, along with a grilled pepper and a grilled tomato. The first thing I did was look at the menu again, as I had read something about yogurt. It did indeed mention yogurt in the description of the dish. I asked the waitress to bring it to me, which she did without hesitation. However, this was another disappointment, as it was simply a portion of yogurt. Unseasoned, not even the slightest bit dressed, as one would have hoped. Similar to tzatziki. But I wouldn't have been able to eat the dish without the yogurt, as everything was simply too dry. The meat was fresh from the charcoal grill, but overall rather dry. On the other hand, it was well seasoned but in places very gristly. It would have been advisable to order the dish with tomato rice and eat the salad directly with the main course. And not upfront, as I did. Payment was made in the restaurant itself. There you could also inspect the charcoal grill, which is well integrated into the open kitchen. Under the grill was a display window in which you could see several types of skewers. However, they were raw! It looked like it had been refrigerated, but refrigeration underneath a charcoal grill is certainly not particularly efficient. The restaurant's interior looked modern from a distance, but upon closer inspection, it was somewhat dated. The restaurant was moderately busy during my visit. Many other guests ordered doner kebabs or similar dishes and seemed satisfied. Therefore, I can only recommend this restaurant with reservations, if at all. One last positive note. After paying my bill of just under €20, I was offered a Turkish tea, which I had to decline due to time constraints.

Absolute recommendation! We were at the ARENA Restaurant in Wolfsburg and absolutely loved it! The service was extremely friendly and attentive, you immediately feel welcome. The portions are more than generous – no one goes home hungry here. Everything tasted great: freshly prepared, excellently seasoned and simply delicious. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely fair. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Wolfsburg and would be happy to recommend the restaurant!

Very tasty food. It's worth going there. We were satisfied. And the price was perfectly fine, not too expensive.

The food used to be tastier, but unfortunately it has stuck a bit because the taste of the kebab only tastes like the sauces. Despite this, great service and a good place to eat if you want to grab a bite to eat with family or friends.

Large donner plate with veal salad and bulgur. The guys behind the bars were correct and friendly, the food was plentiful and tasty. You can eat the large donner plate for two days, that's how it was for me, the salad was mixed with a marinade, very tasty and this bulgur I could eat a whole pot of food there

The food was not tasty and cold. The service was bad. We wanted to take the food home, but the waiter brought us a bag and told us to pack it ourselves. The toilet was dirty and unhygienic. It was the first and last time I visit this restaurant.

Ordered today and had it delivered. The food arrived in the allotted time, was warm and very tasty!

Staff was nice and one could speak English well, portions are very big, I couldn’t finish the lahmacun menu (also had fries, not on the picture yet) They also have a free Turkish tea.

Came here after work with an empty stomach late at night and we were greeted with energetic attitude! We talked with the staff and they gave us free chai and also offered us extra baklava’s to our order, also the meat scoops were plentiful! I’d recommend for sure!

All the employees are polite and friendly, our orders arrived on time and hot, the quality and taste of the food is simply superb. Quality is never a coincidence.

Out of a total of 6 visits that I gave you, there was not one order, whether on site or for pickup, that was correct. It doesn't taste particularly good either. Ambiance is outdated. No thanks, that's it for Arena.

I can say that the friendly staff and Mr. Caner's attention and care offer an excellent service, the food is plentiful and delicious, it is the address of quality that I can recommend to everyone.

This is a delicious Turkish restaurant based on lamb. The meat is tender and the sauce and bread are good. It's not salty and the portions are generous. Most of all, I like it because I can enjoy beer with it.

Delicious. I “only” had a lamacun but it was very fresh and very tasty. The dough was also very tasty. People eat here until late in the evening and the restaurant outside is also busy. Saw lots of different dishes that looked delicious. Waiters quick and nice. Tables and dishes simple but clean. There's nothing to complain about, I'll definitely come here again when I'm in Wolfsburg

Were there for dinner today. Tastes quite good. Unfortunately, the service seemed a bit lackluster and unfortunately two orders were not implemented quite as ordered.

Arena Restaurant has had its good times behind it. What a shame! Price performance has declined sharply for almost a year. The kebab bag has become smaller and the filling is correspondingly less. After the last visit, where they served a sauce that I thought was just tartar sauce, I absolutely had to write this review. Because it has nothing to do with kebab anymore. The service is friendly, but things are no longer as smooth as usual. Therefore, the price no longer corresponds to the performance. Location is great, but location isn't everything if the quality doesn't match. At the moment this restaurant only lives on the good reputation it had two years ago. Too bad.

Cold meat on the kebab gives one star and is too expensive

Probably the best Turkish restaurant in Germany! Dishes like in good restaurants in Türkiye from the charcoal grill. The kebab is made of meat and not pressed rotten minced meat like in many kebab shops that are actually no longer allowed to call themselves that! Great offerings and very good prices round off the tasteful ambience of the thriving restaurant that has existed in Wolfsburg for over 20 years.

The location of the place is nice and spacious, the staff are friendly, fast and attentive. The taste and consistency of the food was very good. We ate beyti kebab, grilled chicken and soup, all of them were very good and suited our taste. We were even more in good spirits after drinking tea and coffee. We thank you
