The food is incredibly delicious, appetizingly presented and fresh, the service is excellent and prompt, and the ambiance is cozy and modern at the same time. The only negative: the portion was a bit too large 😉 We'll definitely be back, even though we live a bit farther away.

The Arena Restaurant in Wolfsburg offers an impressive selection of oriental grilled dishes, especially for lamb lovers. Unfortunately, I have to make concessions when it comes to the quality of the rotisserie meat. The meat on the spit seems to be rather ordinary sausage meat and doesn't really correspond to what you'd expect from a kebab. Furthermore, it wasn't seared sufficiently, which further detracted from the flavor. Even "The Machine" couldn't salvage much here. Another point that caught my attention is the prices. When ordering a rotisserie meat dish, I find the prices disproportionately high, especially considering the quality doesn't live up to expectations. In my opinion, a snack bar should offer good value for money, which unfortunately wasn't the case here.

Important! This is a place to eat. To get your fill. It does that very well.

This is one of my favourite Turkish restaurant s in Wolfsburg. It is kind of ‘jack of all trades’ in food direction. Your döner will be good, your kebab will be juicy, your Iskender will be tasty. In the same time, there is nothing that would stand out for me. But sometimes, that’s all you need from a place. Staff is nice, serving is extremely generous and place is clean. Yep, pretty good, nice place. It gets my Turkish food expert seal of approval!

Worst kebab I've ever eaten in my life

I really liked the kebab, the portions are generous, it includes potatoes and everything for a good price, the waiter served us well.

Very tasty kebab. I'm personally a fan of red onions, and they had them: amazing. If you're in Wolfsburg, you should take a look.

Very delicious food! Our favorite restaurant in Wolfsburg. The portions are huge, with plenty of meat and fresh vegetables – everything is delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We always enjoy coming back with the whole family. Highly recommended!

Really delicious food. We were there with the family, and there was something for everyone. The service was good, too, but the restrooms aren't recommended. They're in desperate need of a remodel.

We ate there for the first time yesterday. Generous portions, a lovely, friendly atmosphere, and the food was simply delicious and fresh. Excellent service and very friendly. We'll be back next time we're in Vienna!

The only one that was open after 10pm, had a terrace and served decent food.

The food was okay, the service was polite and courteous, the ambiance rather mediocre. The outdoor seating area invited me to linger. I opted for an Adana kebab plate. The menu featured a rather appealing picture of the dish. The waitress asked if I wanted fries or rice as a side dish. I opted for fries, which I regretted. More on that later. First came my drink with a small bread basket. The bread wasn't warm, but it was still fresh. A small dip would have been appreciated, but it wasn't available. Next came a salad plate, which was very beautifully presented and tasted very good. This made me even more frustrated with the main course. However, my joy vanished when it was served: a plate covered in fries, with the Adana kebab on top, along with a grilled pepper and a grilled tomato. The first thing I did was look at the menu again, as I had read something about yogurt. It did indeed mention yogurt in the description of the dish. I asked the waitress to bring it to me, which she did without hesitation. However, this was another disappointment, as it was simply a portion of yogurt. Unseasoned, not even the slightest bit dressed, as one would have hoped. Similar to tzatziki. But I wouldn't have been able to eat the dish without the yogurt, as everything was simply too dry. The meat was fresh from the charcoal grill, but overall rather dry. On the other hand, it was well seasoned but in places very gristly. It would have been advisable to order the dish with tomato rice and eat the salad directly with the main course. And not upfront, as I did. Payment was made in the restaurant itself. There you could also inspect the charcoal grill, which is well integrated into the open kitchen. Under the grill was a display window in which you could see several types of skewers. However, they were raw! It looked like it had been refrigerated, but refrigeration underneath a charcoal grill is certainly not particularly efficient. The restaurant's interior looked modern from a distance, but upon closer inspection, it was somewhat dated. The restaurant was moderately busy during my visit. Many other guests ordered doner kebabs or similar dishes and seemed satisfied. Therefore, I can only recommend this restaurant with reservations, if at all. One last positive note. After paying my bill of just under €20, I was offered a Turkish tea, which I had to decline due to time constraints.

Absolute recommendation! We were at the ARENA Restaurant in Wolfsburg and absolutely loved it! The service was extremely friendly and attentive, you immediately feel welcome. The portions are more than generous – no one goes home hungry here. Everything tasted great: freshly prepared, excellently seasoned and simply delicious. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely fair. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Wolfsburg and would be happy to recommend the restaurant!

Fast, inexpensive and delicious food.

Very tasty food. It's worth going there. We were satisfied. And the price was perfectly fine, not too expensive.

The food used to be tastier, but unfortunately it has stuck a bit because the taste of the kebab only tastes like the sauces. Despite this, great service and a good place to eat if you want to grab a bite to eat with family or friends.

It's definitely worth enjoying the food there.

Racism + If you are black they serve you the leftover meat and fries (cold and disgusting). I regret the money I threw at this restaurant because of the color of my skin.

Large donner plate with veal salad and bulgur. The guys behind the bars were correct and friendly, the food was plentiful and tasty. You can eat the large donner plate for two days, that's how it was for me, the salad was mixed with a marinade, very tasty and this bulgur I could eat a whole pot of food there

The food was not tasty and cold. The service was bad. We wanted to take the food home, but the waiter brought us a bag and told us to pack it ourselves. The toilet was dirty and unhygienic. It was the first and last time I visit this restaurant.

Ordered today and had it delivered. The food arrived in the allotted time, was warm and very tasty!

Staff was nice and one could speak English well, portions are very big, I couldn’t finish the lahmacun menu (also had fries, not on the picture yet) They also have a free Turkish tea.

Came here after work with an empty stomach late at night and we were greeted with energetic attitude! We talked with the staff and they gave us free chai and also offered us extra baklava’s to our order, also the meat scoops were plentiful! I’d recommend for sure!

Out of a total of 6 visits that I gave you, there was not one order, whether on site or for pickup, that was correct. It doesn't taste particularly good either. Ambiance is outdated. No thanks, that's it for Arena.

All the employees are polite and friendly, our orders arrived on time and hot, the quality and taste of the food is simply superb. Quality is never a coincidence.

I can say that the friendly staff and Mr. Caner's attention and care offer an excellent service, the food is plentiful and delicious, it is the address of quality that I can recommend to everyone.

This is a delicious Turkish restaurant based on lamb. The meat is tender and the sauce and bread are good. It's not salty and the portions are generous. Most of all, I like it because I can enjoy beer with it.

Delicious. I “only” had a lamacun but it was very fresh and very tasty. The dough was also very tasty. People eat here until late in the evening and the restaurant outside is also busy. Saw lots of different dishes that looked delicious. Waiters quick and nice. Tables and dishes simple but clean. There's nothing to complain about, I'll definitely come here again when I'm in Wolfsburg

Were there for dinner today. Tastes quite good. Unfortunately, the service seemed a bit lackluster and unfortunately two orders were not implemented quite as ordered.

Arena Restaurant has had its good times behind it. What a shame! Price performance has declined sharply for almost a year. The kebab bag has become smaller and the filling is correspondingly less. After the last visit, where they served a sauce that I thought was just tartar sauce, I absolutely had to write this review. Because it has nothing to do with kebab anymore. The service is friendly, but things are no longer as smooth as usual. Therefore, the price no longer corresponds to the performance. Location is great, but location isn't everything if the quality doesn't match. At the moment this restaurant only lives on the good reputation it had two years ago. Too bad.

Cold meat on the kebab gives one star and is too expensive

Probably the best Turkish restaurant in Germany! Dishes like in good restaurants in Türkiye from the charcoal grill. The kebab is made of meat and not pressed rotten minced meat like in many kebab shops that are actually no longer allowed to call themselves that! Great offerings and very good prices round off the tasteful ambience of the thriving restaurant that has existed in Wolfsburg for over 20 years.

The location of the place is nice and spacious, the staff are friendly, fast and attentive. The taste and consistency of the food was very good. We ate beyti kebab, grilled chicken and soup, all of them were very good and suited our taste. We were even more in good spirits after drinking tea and coffee. We thank you

Hello friends, We were looking for a restaurant with over 1400 ratings and we decided on Arena Restaurant. I treated myself to an Adana dürüm and I have to say it was a total loss how it tasted. I had to throw up in the toilet where I got home am, that's when it really started... With diarrhea and vomiting at the same time.. I've never had anything like that.. Think twice about whether you want to eat there.. 🤝

We ordered the grill plate for 2 people. Taste was quite OK. If requested, everything in the order should be packed. Unfortunately, it wasn't until we got home that we noticed that the chicken fillet was completely missing. For the now really expensive price of €45, you should assume that at least the order is complete.

We've been eating there for years and we've never been disappointed. The food is plentiful and incredibly tasty. I can recommend it to anyone who likes oriental food. We live our waiter :)

Simply great! Doner costs €7 and is underrated by some people. It was very tasty and good. The stay there wasn't very long either. I ordered kebab with two friends. Three kebabs were made within 8-10 minutes. The guy who took our order had a German level of A2 which made it difficult to speak to him until I spoke to him in Arabic. But the chef had a B2-C1 German level, which is why my friends were able to order individually. We ate outside, the seats and table were clean, there were servings and condiments, as soon as someone was finished, one of the service staff had cleaned everything 1-2 minutes later.

The Donar sandwich only contained a very, very small amount of meat, the rest was just sauce and vegetables, and that's a shame.

The Dürum was very bad 1. It was not toasted and was completely soggy 2. The Dürum was simply folded up and not rolled. That was the worst durum I've ever eaten. When he opened it, he decided at short notice to redecorate Wolfsburg. (It unfolded freely in order to empty itself.

Total disaster! Niiiiie again!!! The Adana skewer tastes like rubber. The staff barely understands German. Requests or changes were therefore not taken into account. I was told that it was possible, but in the end the wrong food arrived. If I hadn't gone in and asked where my food was, I would have waited in vain :D so bad it's laughable again.

Good food but everything is really too expensive. When you come inside everybody says hello and welcome. Once you have paid, they don’t even say goodbye and no more look at you.

When you come in you are greeted you can also eat outside if you already smell the food you could just run in there the food is perfect I have only eaten kebab and pizza so far but the taste is indescribable the shop is recommended

Das war alles nicht so freundlich und angenehm. Unangenehme Stimmung in diesem Restaurant. Wir haben uns ganz unwohl gefühlt. Vielleicht lag es daran, dass Weihnachten war. Die Bedienung sollte sich die Bestellung notieren, dann klappt es sicher besser. Mein Falafel war gut, die Döner waren nicht so toll. Viel zuviel verschiedene Saucen fanden wir aber das ist ja Geschmackssache.

Der Lammspieß war mega lecker, der Service aufmerksam und schnell.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können es nur weiterempfehlen!

Das Arena in Wolfsburg, ist ein hervorragendes Türkisches Restaurant, mit einer riesigen Auswahl an Gerichten. Ich habe einige verschiedene Gerichte ausprobiert und war immer begeistert. Leckeres Essen, zum günstigen Preis. Selbstverständlich ist alles sauber und hygienisch. Eine Entspannte Atmosphäre, mit gut gelaunten Angestellten, inklusive. Im Sommer ist vor dem Restaurant eine große Terrasse, mit Ausblick auf die Porschestraße. Preis / Leistungsverhältnis hervorragend

Beide Bedienungen waren komplett überfordert, liefen planlos zwischen den Tischen hin und her und wussten nicht mehr, welche Bestellung zu welchem Tisch gehört. Mehreren Gästen versuchte man Kroketten anstatt Pommes zu geben, mit der Aussage, dass wären schließlich auch Pommes. Das Essen an sich war okay ich hatte mich sehr gefreut auf einen iskender Döner, der alles in allem aber nicht richtig heiß war

Das essen war gut personal sehr freundlich nur zu empfehlen.

Der Dürüm war geschmacklich gut, leider aber mit wenig bis gar keiner Soße obwohl diese gewünscht war. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Was das Ambiente angeht etwas kühl, und die Toiletten könnten ruhig öfter gereinigt werden. Dennoch gut und eine Empfehlung für die Innenstadt WOB wert! 🥙

Wir sind knapp 30 Minuten gefahren, um nach Jahren mal wieder einen Dönerteller von Arena zu holen. Der erste Schock waren die 12,50 Euro, wobei man sich dann denkt, dass gerade in der Innenstadt die Mieten teuer sind und das Geld rein geholt werden muss. Gut, der Teller musste es in sich haben bei diesem Preis. Zu Hause angekommen und dann alles aufgemacht und ich kann sagen, der Preis hatte es in sich. Schön viel Fleisch, schöne Schärfe, Salat ordentlich und Fladenbrot oben drauf. Geschmacklich auch nach Jahren immer noch erste Sahne und vor allem, es waren alle sehr freundlich. Immer wieder gerne und wir wurden bei diesem Preis nicht enttäuscht.

Vor Corona gab es eine Zeit, da war der Aussenbereich dreckig und ungepflegt. Inzwischen hat der Betreiber das Problem in den Griff bekommen. Das Essen ist gut, der gemischte Salat sehr lecker und die Bedienungen freundlich. Extrawünsche werden erfüllt. Jetzt komme ich wieder gern.
