Archies Zizishausen in Nürtingen

The taste of the food is still very good and comparable to that of a few years ago, but unfortunately the portions have become smaller and the prices are much higher. The chicken fingers menu, for example, was served on a larger plate back then and a cola now costs almost €5. Service is ok, but could be better. I was there with a friend on Friday evening and the dark-haired waitress hardly spoke or looked at me when I ordered. In the end there was only a coupon for my girlfriend, even though we both ate one menu each. We both found it a bit strange. Either you do such a campaign entirely and include every customer or you leave it alone.

The food and cocktails are good value for money, we'll be happy to come back!

Unfortunately the waitress was a bit unfriendly. Food is good, it's just a shame that there are only potatoes in slices and no alternative.

Actually solid burgers (although the price isn't entirely justified), which are then ruined by cheap ketchup. Personal bankruptcy beckons at dessert. The waitresses are friendly and helpful, but the kitchen can no longer keep up with the restaurant half full. Nice ambience, but the exhaust system in the kitchen is also extremely loud and annoying in the dining room.

The food and the staff are perfect. The ambience is comparable to a pub, decorated with American film posters and state flags. Nice but you have to like it :) There is a 1 point deduction because the prices are very high for the portions you get.

Top location and I actually really enjoy being here. The burgers were repeatedly incredibly bad; rancid, almost cold (we picked up and the burgers actually came fresh from the kitchen, not an 800m drive by car). Too bad! Unfortunately, the quality varies wildly here.

Very friendly and attentive service. A great selection of food and drinks. I had a medium-sized burger and it was almost impossible to make. Unfortunately the cheddar cheese was lost due to the huge amounts of onions and ketchup. I had imagined my burger to be a little different. It was still good and I'll definitely come back.

You can do it. Unfortunately the concept of American Diner / Barbecue is outdated and I now order something a little different. However, you can do it from time to time. Hard to find anything for vegetarian or vegan guests! The only vegetarian burger on the menu doesn't really blow you away.

I ordered a veggie burger and I have to admit that it was my best one so far.🍔 The room was perfect for a birthday party 🥳 If you don't want to keep the celebration too big, this is a very good alternative. 🪄 The service was very successful, the employees were very friendly and nice. 🍓 The ambience of the restaurant itself isn't that great but that's not a bad thing because the food tasted really delicious and the selection is large 🙌🏼 The plus point is the spot with the swing where you can take lots of great pictures 📸

Was eating here for the first time and wasn't really impressed. A service lady wasn't really in a good mood and wasn't exactly happy. The young man was quick and very friendly. Food was okay, I had a steak which was okay in terms of quality. The food of the others at our table was burnt and not visually appealing. The ambience suits the restaurant. Wouldn't come here again

The quality of the food has decreased in recent years while the prices have increased. Vegetarian patties are not regularly available. The portion sizes are sufficient. The medium size is often sufficient. However, due to the decreased quality, you can often get a table at short notice. The bottom line is that the service and its friendliness could be improved.

The service is great. There are enough parking spaces. There is an inside and outside area. Let's get down to business. The food. Unfortunately I have to give it 3 stars with a heavy heart. You'll definitely get full, but there are a lot of ready-made products. The store just doesn't appeal to me in terms of taste. I'm lacking love and can't taste the reason why I should eat there. Another positive thing to mention is that the store is very child-friendly. You can eat very well here with children. (pay attention to stairs and steps) Very unfortunate.

The restaurant itself is worth a visit. The food is good and the service is good. But what's stopping me from visiting again is the obviously very poor ventilation. After a visit there you smell as if you had bathed in a deep fryer.

As always, we are very quick when it comes to our “we’re going out to eat” decisions. We were unlucky at Archies Holzmaden this time, but lucky in Nürtingen. The telephone reservation worked well and the two of us were able to get a table in the newly renovated next room. The table assigned to us was of the half-height variety and we were happy that we could pull the two free chairs under the table and thus have a somewhat comfortable sitting position for our legs. The service was quick and friendly, the drinks were at the table quickly and the dishes we ordered (small mixed salad and baked potato as well as Caesar salad with garlic baguette) were freshly prepared and delicious. Despite the house being full, we received friendly and quick service. We'd love to come back there too. Maybe we'll be lucky again and get a table by one of the windows 🤞

The food was disappointing. I was told to try the hamburger, it was a mistake: the sauce was overly salty, the meat seemed to be of inferior quality. However, the service and atmosphere were both first class.

It's always a nice experience here. The food is to die for and the ambience is that of an American diner.

4 stars overall rating, an alternative BBQ sauce would be good. The Every Day BBQ Sauce is way too salty for my taste. A selection of all the typical U.S. sauces such as Kansas City Style, Carolina Gold, Carolina Vinegar, Alabama White and your Homemade Every Day would be really great. In combination with this I could get a plate with spare ribs, veal spare ribs, wings, fingers, chicken nuggets, corn on top (please again with a portion of butter😅) and the mixed extras like onion rings, archie fries with ketchup, mayo and Garlic dip etc with a choice of drinks from either a pitcher (1.5 liters of beer) or 3 soft drinks alternatively 1.5 liters of mineral water as a "Share Your Dinner" offer for 2 to 3 people. At least I would order it😏 You are a very nice team and I can recommend your restaurants to everyone.

Essen war reichlich aber nichts besonderes. Vor allem der New Orleans Burger ist mit Vorsicht zu genießen. Total stark gewürzt und für mich ungenießbar. Hatte den schon mehrfach bestellt aber so hat er noch nie geschmeckt. Trotz freundlicher Reklamation meinerseits hat die Bedienung nicht reagiert. Wir haben zu viert über 100 Euro bezahlt. Da hätte ich erwartet, dass man das Gespräch mit dem Kunden sucht. Schade! Ich werde wohl nicht mehr dort essen gehen.

An absolute culinary delight from American cuisine. Delicious. The spare ribs are juicy and tender, as are the salads and the house barbecue sauce. Simply great. Prices are okay too. I'm happy to be there.

Delicious food etc., but you definitely have to make a reservation otherwise you'll be sitting in a very uncomfortable gym. I think it's a shame! The ambience has to match the food and that is only possible in the main restaurant.

Waren heute im Archies essen und waren begeistert. Wir hatten die normalen Spareribs, welche sehr gut waren. Ebenso war die Portion riesig. Definitiv eine Empfehlung wert 👍

Kurzfristig haben wir einen Tisch reserviert und Glück gehabt noch einen zu bekommen. Wir waren zu viert mit Baby. Wir haben einen Tisch mit einer Sitzbank erhalten, damit wir die Babytrage abstellen konnten. Kinderhochstühle gab es auch. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig. Außergewöhnlich ist, dass es auch Kalbsspareribs gibt. Wir haben 2 verschiedene Burger und die Kalbsspareribs bestellt. Die Ribs waren super zart und fehlen vom Knochen ab. Die Würzung war sehr lecker. Leider war die Silberhaut noch dran. Die Portion war sehr groß. Die Neugier waren sehr lecker und frisch. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Sehr schneller und aufmerksamer Service bei authentischem Ambiente. Der mittlere Archie-Burger (im Prinzip ein Cheeseburger mit Bacon) hat ausreichend Bacon, jedoch nur eine kleine Scheibe Käse drauf. Die Portion war auch nicht übermäßig groß für diesen doch recht hohen Preis. Eine absolute Frechheit ist der Aufpreis für Mayo! Ich denke, für den nächsten Besuch im Burger-Restaurant versuchen wir was Neues.

Meine Erfahrung mit Archie auf der Insel in Oberboihingen lässt mich mit gemischten Gefühlen zurück. Zunächst einmal muss ich betonen, dass das Angebot an diesem Ort vielfältig ist und eine breite Palette an Aktivitäten und Dienstleistungen bereithält. Dennoch bleibt festzuhalten, dass die Qualität der gebotenen Leistungen nicht meinen Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Ein entscheidender Faktor, der meine Bewertung beeinflusst, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Essen, das in Archie auf der Insel angeboten wird, erscheint mir übertrieben teuer im Vergleich zur gebotenen Qualität und Geschmack. Die Gerichte sind nicht besonders herausragend und könnten in puncto Kreativität und Geschmacksvielfalt definitiv verbessert werden. Die Überteuerung des Essens trägt dazu bei, dass das Gesamterlebnis nicht als angemessen empfunden wird. Man erwartet bei höheren Preisen eine entsprechende Qualität, und dies scheint hier nicht gegeben zu sein. Eine Anpassung der Preise oder eine Steigerung der kulinarischen Qualität wären hier wünschenswert, um die Kundenzufriedenheit zu erhöhen. Ein weiterer Aspekt, der Raum für Verbesserungen bietet, ist der allgemeine Service. Obwohl das Personal freundlich ist, könnte die Effizienz gesteigert werden. Lange Wartezeiten und Unklarheiten bei Bestellungen mindern das Gesamterlebnis und könnten durch eine bessere Organisation optimiert werden. Trotz dieser kritischen Anmerkungen möchte ich betonen, dass Archie auf der Insel in Oberboihingen durchaus Potenzial hat. Die Vielfalt des Angebots und die idyllische Lage sind positive Aspekte, die es zu schätzen gilt. Wohlwollend gebe ich daher eine Bewertung von 3/5 Sternen, in der Hoffnung, dass die genannten Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten in Zukunft angegangen werden. Mit Anpassungen beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, der kulinarischen Qualität und dem Service könnte Archie auf der Insel zu einem noch attraktiveren Ort für Kunden werden.

Leckere Burger und Spareribs! Obwohl das Haus voll war, wurden die Bestellung schnell aufgenommen und serviert. Die Portionen sind groß, der Preis passt und die Bedienungen waren bisher immer sehr freundlich. Der erste Raum ist sehr gemütlich und passend dekoriert. Den einzigen Minuspunkt kann ich nur für die Beleuchtung und Deko im großen Saal geben. Etwas gedimmtes Licht und mehr Deko wie im ersten Raum, würde das Ambiente auch hier deutlich steigern. Ansonsten echt top Laden.

Archies ist eine solide Anlaufstelle indisch für größere Gruppen sowohl im Innen wie auch im Außenbereich gut geeignet. Das Flair ist amerikanisch und cool, der Service gut. Die Speisen zum Mitnehmen könnten deutlich besser hergerichtet werden. Leider hat die Qualität des Essens gefühlt in den letzten Jahren nachgelassen und es gibt in der Region meiner Meinung nach geschmacklich bessere Burgerrestaurants. Der Veggieburger ist eine Katastrophe, schade, dass man sich hier nicht etwas moderner aufstellt. Preislich absolut ok.

Bei meinen beiden Besuchen in diesem Restaurant waren die Burger leider nicht besonders schmackhaft. Sie waren stark von einer übermäßigen Menge Soße durchtränkt, wodurch der eigentliche Geschmack der Burger kaum zur Geltung kam

Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ambiente eher Sportgaststätte. Paar US Utensilien hängen an Decken und Wänden. Essen mit viel zu viel Soße die den Geschmack der Burger überlagern. Auch Spare-Ribs und Hühnchenwings triefen vor Soße. Daher wahrscheinlich auch die Zewa-Rolle auf dem Tisch. Archie Fries sind zu lang frittierte Bratkartoffelscheiben. Wer auf grosse Portionen die zu Übersättigung führt mag, ist hier richtig.

Alles ok, Preis/ Leistung ist angemessen. Nette Mädels im Service.

Super burger,Auswahl toll,die rips sind auch zu empfehlen.groessere Teller wären gut,damit man besser platz hat, Kommen wieder

American Dinner, Essen kommt schnell, grosse Küchenrolle mit Papier für die Finger, Portionen sind groß, ABER" einfach mittedrin wird der Besteckkorb abgeräumt obwohl man noch am essen ist und evtl noch ein Messer oder Gabel benötigt.(z.B um die grossen Zwieblringe im Salat oder ähnliches zu schneiden), Papierrolle wird im Vorbeigehen mitgenommen, wird ja auch nicht mehr benötigt bei Fingerfood. Auf das zweite Getränk habe ich bis zu Rechnung gewartet(15min) und habe es nicht bekommen, sollte es aber bezahlen. Auf Beschwerde wurde es aber stoniert.

Die Rippchen sind göttlich! Die Salatsouse ist mir zu fade. Sorry..

Waren an einem Samstag um 19 Uhr dort zu Gast. Wurden in der Nebenhalle/Veranstaltungsraum platziert. Absolut keine Atmosphäre, eher Turnhallenvibes. Service war sehr schwer beschäftigt, aber wirklich doll bemüht. Mussten auf alles recht lange (+1,5h Essen) warten. Essen war aber absolut Top! Super lecker, sehr große Portionen & alles in allem sehr Stimmig. Nur das Ambiente hat doll gelitten. Schade. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder!

Waren am Freitag zum ersten Mal im Archies...zu empfehlen. Alle Fleischgerichte die wir hatten, war der Hammer, ausreichend gross und sehr sehr lecker. Preise dafür sind angemessen. Immer wieder! Service war auch prima, trotz voller Hütte alle freundlich und aus Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen. Das einzige was uns nicht geschmeckt hat waren die Salate als Hauptmahlzeit. Ein Cesars Salad war das nie im Leben.... Gerne kommen wir wieder !

Ein Restaurant im Stil der Amerikaner eingerichtet. Wir wurden schnell und freundlich bedient. Der Krautsalat war leider nicht wie ich ihn mir vorgestellt habe und wie er in Amerika gemacht wird sondern mit Essig und Öl. Meine Zwiebelringe und meine Mozzarella Sticks waren sehr lecker. Auch der gemischte Teller mit Hähnchenflügel, Hähnchenbrust Stücke paniert und dem Spearrips war sehr lecker. Gerne wieder.

Wer amerikanisch essen mag, der sollte mal hier das Lokal ausprobieren. Es gibt sehr leckere Burger, die Spare Ribs sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren schon sehr oft da und es ist wirklich cool. An der Decke hängen Flaggen von den amerikanischen Staaten, richtig toll! Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und nett! Nur die Toiletten sind veraltet und nicht so toll. Bitte hier nachbessern!!!
