We went to this restaurant on a friend's recommendation and had high expectations. However, we experienced several unpleasant surprises. First, we had to wait about 45 minutes for three shawarmas, half a chicken, and a mixed grill. The shawarma tasted good, but nothing special. The mixed grill was also fine. The side dishes and sauces were the best part. The grilled chicken was terrible because it was smothered in a foul-tasting red sauce that completely soaked the crispy skin, leaving no trace of the chicken. Furthermore, we asked three times for the loud music to be turned down, and instead, it was turned up even louder. We are Muslims and went there for halal food, not to listen to haram music. Finally, I must mention that we had the leftover food packed up and even put it on two separate plates for packing. The best in Saarbrücken. Always crowded. We come almost every weekend. The prices have gone up because they're adding service charges. So, since we're here with family, the price becomes less attractive. It's a shame.
