I've been there several times and have always been impressed with the menu because there were dishes here that not every Greek restaurant offers. And it was always delicious. Today I was there again and noticed that there was a new menu. Unfortunately, some delicious, somewhat unusual dishes are now missing...e.g. Pork skewer with a slightly spicy sauce or liver with fried onions. Nevertheless, it was very tasty and perhaps these dishes will be added to the menu again. In any case, the staff is very nice and the ambience with a view of the meadow is also very nice.

Very nice terrace, great restaurant (inside) very good food in generous portions at very fair prices. Great service, simply recommended.

Were here for the first time, I had grilled octopus that was very tasty, buttery soft, I can recommend it to everyone. Me and my family would say that after many years of experience at Greek restaurants it is the number 1 in Nuremberg when it comes to the quality of the food compared to all the others without saying that the others are bad or anything but this restaurant stands out from the crowd. There were 7 of us and everyone was happy with the gyros, suvlaki, bifteki, kalamaris, scampi, octapus, salad, everything was very tasty. If something is good you should praise it and say it and we didn't think it was a bad thing that there was no side salad - in contrast, we didn't even notice that you can order it if you want to eat with it. And to be honest, you go for the meat and fish and not for the salad, right??

We were there yesterday spontaneously and for the first time after visiting the bathroom. After we had a craving for Greek food, we simply searched on Google. Very very tasty there! The baked calamari.....soft as butter :-) ... and the fries in the children's meal were fluffy but also crispy. Beautiful terrace without a reservation or being there as soon as it opens. We'll definitely be back!

Very tasty food, friendly staff and a great covered terrace with a beautiful view. The only small downside is that the side salad has to be ordered separately. We will still come back.

After my regular Greek slacked off, I tested the Apollon today. First impression great! Very stylish inside and not too crowded with seating and on the large terrace with a view of the meadow. Service and food+++++

Very beautiful gem in stone. Great terrace and tasteful interior design. Very friendly staff. Many vegetarian and specially designated vegan alternatives. Small criticism: if the feta is left out for a vegan alternative, you should check again whether the dish is spicy enough. Spoiler: it's not! 😉 PS: great house wines!

The food was very tasty… everything was fresh and everything happened very quickly… Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't look that inviting from the outside... but the large terrace is great... Price-performance was good… I was missing a small salad with my meal…

We were regular customers for many years. However, this price increase cannot be justified. The side salad now costs an extra €4.50!!! This is usury. We now switch to the Greek restaurant on the main street. The price/performance is still consistent. Unfortunately you are alienating a lot of guests I know. A pity. ☹️

Very good Greek restaurant. Food is rich and, in my opinion, not as oversalted as other Greeks. I've never eaten anything bad here. Service is friendly and quick. Conclusion: A little more expensive than other Greeks, but it's worth it. Always happy to come here. A table reservation is always advisable.

We were guests at the Apollon for a very long time, but the prices here are showing an unjustifiable development that is no longer acceptable. Recently, the side salad has also been charged extra, and that is no longer in line with the reasonable price-performance ratio. We don't go there anymore.

Ordered food to pick up. Food just came from the kitchen and it only took 10 minutes for the first bite to be taken home. Calamari from the deep fryer is usually crispy, good in the box after 10 minutes it goes down a bit, BUT!!!!! These things had the consistency of a pudding! After biting into it once, we felt so sick and left it alone (perhaps it was cooked too long or there was so much oil in it that it soaked?) Fries were good. Rice and the remaining starters were ok. The side salad had so much dirt that we were worried about our teeth. Also left standing. Apollon was so advertised to me, but I was so very disappointed! About the furnishings: looks very inviting. Staff: Was nice.

We ordered the island plate and KRITHAROTO MUSSELS for our wedding anniversary. The calamari was so tender and the rest of the food was delicious and well seasoned! I haven't had such good Greek food in a long time. I can only recommend the food!

Always my pleasure; We need supplies of the baked zucchini and the grilled pepperoni every two weeks. The same goes for the gyros in Metaxa, the No.25 shrimp salad and the No.99 baked shrimp ***** The staff is super nice. The terrace has been beautifully modernized and of course covered. The restaurant is very elegant! Thank you to the whole team for the great service every time!

The food is super delicious. Would come again. On the day of our visit, the waiters weren't particularly attentive. It took 20 minutes to order the food. After the meal, no waiter came to ask if we had any wishes. Had to go to the counter to order a new drink..

A really good Greek restaurant with very friendly and humorous service. My salad with shrimps on the first day and my island platter (fish) on the second day were very appetizing and prepared with love, I really liked them. I can really recommend the restaurant.

Butter-soft and for the main course, for example, the Meteora plate. very friendly hosts and good service. If there is no free parking space in front of the restaurant, continue driving, down to the right, after 50 m there is a small parking lot on the left

We always enjoyed going there. The front menu says they don't want to raise prices at the moment. But ask for 4.50 for the side salad. That's a price increase of around 30%!!! So it has nothing to do with the fact that the VAT has been raised again. The prices are therefore far higher than any other Greek restaurant we know. Sorry, but we'd rather go somewhere else in the future.

Stopped by here spontaneously on vacation and got a seat even without booking in advance. Service very nice and competent. We also enjoyed the food very much and our junior's special requests regarding his allergy were easily accommodated.

Update 04/23/24 Our old dog (15 years old) was used to having a place to retreat under the stairs. When we were allowed to "inaugurate" the terrace, the shock was severe: the retreat was covered in ivy *sniff* From a business perspective I could understand it, but we were still offended. After years of loyal customers (Kira always got something extra, previously raw lamb chops, now as toothless goth souflaki) she was banned from her place. As I was grumbling to myself and Kira was turning her backside towards us in an insult, Zoe came running and asked how we liked the ivy. Long story short: Costa also joined us and then they both explained to us with a smile how to open the gate for our "little one". I cried with happiness. Thank you Zoe and Costa, you are such great people and you can feel that in the entire team... and there is a lot of love in the food that you can taste :-)))) About 9 months ago: We were regular guests at the old Apollon in Großreuth (at least 12 years) and met many of them here again, which speaks for the quality of the food as well as Zoe (boss) and her crew. The interiors are lovingly designed without appearing “Greek-overloaded”. The terrace is expensively equipped to protect against bad weather, including sun protection. Since the terrace was built on a hillside, the feeling is like being in a real beer garden: The tables sometimes wobble ;-) My favorite dish is chicken in Metaxa sauce but without fries but with pita bread...so delicious :-) All in all: full marks for a Greek restaurant where you can feel completely at home. If you expect a star restaurant, it's your own fault and you shouldn't write a review!

We like going to Apollon, but we also like to order for home. Very good quality food and very good service. I think the solution of leaving out the small salad as a replacement for increasing VAT on the price is great.

Yes, VAT has increased in the catering industry, everyone has noticed that. So you could now find a letter to the customers on an insert in the menu, saying that the VAT has increased, but that they will not increase the prices for the time being and that they reserve the right to monitor the whole thing and possibly increase the prices later will adapt. However, the side salad has now been removed from all dishes and you can now get it for 4.50 euros!!! Book for this. Thanks, so if you now order a dish for 15 euros and want a salad with it, you now pay 19.50 euros, which, according to Adam Riese, means a price increase of 30 ./. !!! I wonder, does the innkeeper think his guests are stupid and stupid? You should avoid the restaurant out of protest, which is what we will do now!!!

Wir waren dort zu viert an einem Samstag. Das Restaurant war gut gefüllt - eine Reservierung ist also zu empfehlen. Trotzdem kam es zu keiner längeren Wartezeit! Sehr leckeres Essen mit angemessen Preisen. Weiter so! 👍🏻

Leckeres Essen und super Service

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gesellschaft zum essen da. Die Bedienung kam sehr genervt rüber, gut wir waren gut 15 Mann. Das Essen selbst war soweit gut, aber der Teller sehr übersichtlich. Für 2 Fleischspieße mit je grad mal 3 Stückchen Fleisch ziemlich teuer und leider nicht außergewöhnlich. Es war nur ein kleiner Klecks Tzatziki auf dem Teller, so dass ich den netten Kellner bat, mir noch etwas zu bringen. Nach 10 Minuten und mittlerweile dadurch bereits kalt gewordenem Fleisch ging ich zur Theke und erinnerte den Kollegen an mein Tzaziki. Gut er wahr ehrlich und meinte, oh... vergessen.... Gut kann passieren, aber dann das Tzatziki auch noch mit 1,50 EUR abzurechnen, finde ich frech. Zumal hierdurch auch mein Essen kalt und daher weniger gut geschmeckt hat. Eine anderer Gast aus unserer Runde hatte einen Schafskäse überbacken bestellt und das PitaBrot nicht gewollt, bzw. keine Beilage hierzu. Trotzdem wurde das Gericht komplett berechnet. Ich für mich habe festgestellt, dass hier und da immer geschaut wird, dass man noch den einen oder anderern Euro mit abrechenen kann. Gästefreundliches Verhalten ist etwas anderes und so gut war der Grieche m.E. nicht, um sich das leisten zu können. Stammkunden bekommt man so nicht...oder hat sie nicht mehr nötig - schade.

Der beste Grieche den wir kennen. Leckere und große Portionen zu fairen Preisen. Etliche selbstgemachte Gerichte, wie z.B das Tarama und auch das Brot. Die Kalamari sind ein Gedicht und der absolute Hammer (Geheimtipp) die Nr. 69 😉

Der beste Grieche in der Umgebung! Qualitativ sehr hochwertiges, leckeres Essen sehr schön präsentiert. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl in dem Lokal und auf der wunderbaren Sonnenterrasse. Die Eigentümerfamilie leistet einen tollen Service, prompt, freundlich und ist auch gerne bei Familienfeiern o.ä. behilflich.
