Wow, one of the best restaurants I have visited in Germany. Because of my work I have to commute often and I have eaten Turkish food in many cities and it was excellent here.

Really bad service. The waiter was extremely unfriendly and had the ability to overlook and ignore us. I can't say what the other waiters are like, but our waiter might need to change careers. The tables are made of pallets and still have leftover food from who knows when. Not a good idea either. Yes, the food was too salty, I could have done better. Basically, unfortunately I don't have anything positive to report.

Adana skewer, chicken skewer and the lentil soup are definitely recommended! The breakfast is also super delicious. You really get a lot served! Fresh bread, tasty little things. Sometimes we just come to eat soup. It's always pleasant to sit there; the waiters are attentive and serve someone quickly. In order to be treated well, you should also treat the waiters well - give and take. But it's also a given these days. In terms of price, it is rather upper class, so not for people who like to save money. For some things the price is justified, for others less so.

Four of us had dinner at Antep DoyDoy yesterday and overall it was okay. The starters and salad were well portioned and tasty. However, the main courses came far too quickly one after the other, so we didn't have enough time to enjoy the starters in peace. I found it positive that card payment was possible. However, the service could be much more attentive. Unfortunately the tea we were given had spilled and both the cup and the saucer were full of tea. Unfortunately, the baklava didn't impress us either, it was very soft and completely soaked in sugar syrup. Overall, a mixed experience for the price.

We ordered three main courses and drinks and didn't get a starter plate, the man next to us ordered something small and got a starter plate 😂 A bit embarrassing for a restaurant of this size. We'll go to Birlik next time.

I rarely write reviews but I have never experienced service like this so I have to evaluate the situation. We ordered at work for 240 euros, everything was ok apart from a few small errors. The delivery took 2 hours, the food was already cold, which wasn't a problem because there was a lot and because the food was still delicious, BUT we were missing a Dürüm and 2 Ayran. No problem either, it can happen given the quantity. After I called them there was a discussion for 10 minutes about the fact that what was missing hadn't been paid for (which isn't true). There was then a 10 minute discussion about the fact that the food had been counted and it couldn't be that something was missing. At first I pointed it out in a nicer way and asked for a delivery because my colleague at work was hungry and we paid for it, but as the conversation went on I just got angry. My colleague had to take the phone away from me and ask to speak to the boss so that the young man on the phone finally said that he would deliver. Although the food was delicious, we will never order there again. Thanks for the experience.

An Outstanding Turkish Restaurant! The veal kebab is terrific! Service staff was super friendly! Eating on site is definitely recommended. We would love to come back.

I have reserved a table with my family for our wedding anniversary. I specifically asked if there would be live music in the evening. They gave me 2 singers that evening. I then said yes because we wanted to celebrate something that evening too. We were really looking forward to the evening. When we arrived, no one knew about our reservation and there was no live music. They ruined our wedding day. We didn't want to go anywhere else either. Really disappointing this store

Last week I ate in this restaurant for the first time with my husband and our two children, even though we come from Langenfeld and the restaurant is practically around the corner. My husband recommended it to me because he had eaten there occasionally lately and found it "pretty good." Since I hadn't cooked that day, I thought I'd take advantage of the opportunity. Unfortunately, I can say that we were very disappointed with the visit - especially because of the poor service. I have never experienced such poor service in my life. The staff was inattentive, slow and not very friendly. The service was so bad that the actually good food almost lost its taste. This is particularly a shame because the location is really nice and the quality of the food would have been impressive. But the poor service ruins the entire experience. That's why I can unfortunately only give one star - and if it were possible, I wouldn't even give it a star. It's a shame about the restaurant's potential!

This day today has finished me off. There is no denying that the service in this restaurant is totally terrible. The service staff has now served us more often and is absolutely not polite and knows no forms of politeness. No hello, please and thank you. You don't talk to the customers, you just wait until they tell you what you want to eat. We've been there a few times now. So I can judge it quite well. The meat was raw the previous time, so there was still blood in my veal. Nevertheless, I wanted to give the restaurant another chance because it can just happen that the meat isn't completely cooked through. But today's really finished me off. There was just a dead fly without a head in my plate. I called the service person over and showed him this fly. He nodded and started grinning, apparently finding it funny that I had a dead fly in my food. There was no response, apology or accommodation. I haven't seen something so outrageous in a long time!

Has worn off a lot! Neither the service nor the food is really good. Or the plates are very lean. At 7 p.m. you could only get kebab leftovers for 5 euros! Got an extra charge on the grill plate, where there was hardly anything in it anyway. There were no grilled peppers or mushrooms. You had to ask for bread. So all in all it wasn't what it used to be, even though it was a Monday and there was hardly anything going on.

The Lahmacun, one with salad and one with kebab, tasted good. As you can see in the picture, there was only one thin napkin included. Not enough for a dish that is eaten with your hands. Service was quick but very taciturn. The decor is more reminiscent of a snack bar. All in all solid, nothing special.

By far the worst service I have ever experienced. We only ordered two kebabs. The driver didn't manage to find us even though a clear address and description were given. After 10 phone calls and 50 minutes of waiting, he found it. In addition, the driver neither had change with him nor offered any other way to pay. We won't be ordering there anymore!

I am very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The service was extremely poor - we were almost completely ignored even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. It took forever to place our order and when the food finally came it was lukewarm to cold and unappetizing. We used to get salad, flatbread, dips and tea on the house, but this time we weren't offered any of that while all the other customers got these extras. This made us feel very disadvantaged and treated badly. To make matters worse, both I and my companion got stomach aches after eating. This is absolutely unacceptable. We definitely won't be back and can't recommend this restaurant to anyone, even though we enjoyed going here a few years ago.

Mantı is absolutely bad hence 1 star. The minced meat filling is only provisional, so the price is exorbitant. Therefore only two stars. Bad-tempered service, should work better in a restaurant atmosphere.

Service is okay. The shop is a bit run down, especially towards the toilet. But the food was great. Portions are large and it tasted great. The grill plate was great

I actually can't understand a lot of the reviews. For the price you get a full plate, tasty and enough. The fact that the service is sometimes really slow or in a bad mood shouldn't be blamed on the food. Go somewhere else now and see how much ends up on your plate and what the price is. All I can say is delicious food, no matter what you eat. There's a lot on the plate and the price is great. My favorite is the liver.

Ordered food to be delivered, food was not delivered. What a juice load. Why is the order taken and simply not delivered. No wonder, I've now read the reviews, 80% have one star and very bad reviews. Never say no, now order me a burger after waiting 1 hour 30 minutes on an empty stomach. Friends of mine were there recently and were moderately satisfied. I'm a knucklehead myself, but knuckles are systematically unprofessional and bad in the catering industry. You really have to go to Cologne to be able to eat something Turkish. Loading juice...

We were there for breakfast today, the first and last time, the service/waiter didn't feel like working. Awful. No greeting. Everything arrived too late and wrong. We went to this restaurant with a recommendation and were looking forward to it after a long day at work. The service worker made it clear that he didn't want to work or was listless about his work. We ordered a lentil soup and a grill plate for two people. Bread only came after we asked for it. Normally we are used to the fact that when the bread is empty, we either add new bread or we are asked if we would like more bread. nothing came. No facial expressions. Sauces were only made upon request, which is actually a given. The so-called grill plates for two people didn't have sauces on them or were distributed in any way. When asked that we would like to take the food with us, we had to take the plate ourselves and carry it to the front and repeatedly ask them to pack it up. The pay was also relatively monotonous. Please drive a few meters further and look for a good chip shop or another Turk. Unfortunately, the name is tarnished. We are used to different things from Doy doy in Cologne on Kolbstrasse. We're talking about worlds here.

It is very annoying that the service is bad and there are waiters who are unhappy and do not like their job or children. If you go on busy days and hours, there is no problem except that your meals take about 1 hour to arrive.

Catastrophe! First of all, I only gave one star for lahmacun. Everything else isn't even worth 1 star. The waitress doesn't feel like working and lets you feel it. Tea was so disgusting I have no idea what day the tea was from 🙈 Changing room disaster disgusting and no paper to dry your hands either. More of a storage room. The empty plates were on the table until the end even though they were seen so there was simply no space, really stupid and unprofessional. As soon as we ordered, you could see that they weren't interested. That was the first and last time I visited this juice shop. It's just so sad that people go up on price and down on quality. Everyone is just greedy for money but doesn't want to do anything for it. A pity.

The food is bland and tasteless. The waiters are arrogant and unpleasant!!!! The restaurant wasn't full, but they still didn't pay any attention to the 5 waiters who were walking around there. We waited forever until we could place our order. The other guests besides us were also offered tea.

We were here with family and friends on April 19, 2024. It will probably be the last time we come here again. It started when we ordered, the waiter wanted to take our order without giving us the menu first and asking for drinks. The starter was infested with fungus that was disgusting. I called the waiter, no apology, nothing, took plates away and exchanged them. The main course came every 15 minutes, the first one was finished eating then the second came etc. Grilled plates for two people were missing a spies and kottlet. I then picked up the dessert from the counter myself. It's a shame, I've always enjoyed being here

On April 20, 2024, the whole family ate there in the evening. We were disappointed, the Arabic bread on the grill plate was full of mold, we saw it late, luckily we didn't eat any bread. They didn't apologize at all. Cleanliness and quality are zero! I don't recommend any.

Ordered two kebabs and fries. Under the comment: “One without sauce, please. Very important. I am lactose intolerant. Preferably with a lot of meat.” Arrived quite quickly too. Everything was delivered, but the one Dlner WITHOUT SAUCE was only made of meat?! No salad nothing… fart dry. After calling directly, they said that if they wanted more meat on it, there would be no room for salad. But the second kebab was completely filled including sauces. The space seems to have been bigger there 🤔 every other restaurant would have delivered a kebab according to the customer's request, NOT this one!!! I cannot recommend this restaurant and would never order there again based on the feedback on the phone!!!

The food is ok, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the service is catastrophic. After waiting for about an hour without a waiter coming to our table and bringing us the menu, we finally organized it ourselves. When one of the shy deer (i.e. the waiters) finally showed up, we wanted to order Waiter clearly realized this but simply walked away without coming back for the next 20 minutes. At some point we were able to order. The food came quite quickly - at least for one of us, the other had to wait an additional 5 minutes (bad timing!). Paying at the end was as difficult as ordering: no one came along. Eventually we went in to initiate this ourselves. An unfortunately very unfriendly waiter came by and charged me for the wrong dish, even though I clearly told him the correct number (listening, the German language or thinking don't seem to be his strength... maybe all three at once). Conclusion: I was definitely in this juice shop for the last time.

My experience at Antep Doy Doy Restaurant was an absolute disappointment and I am appalled at the quality and service I received. It was obvious from the start that something was wrong as I walked in and was immediately greeted by the chill not only in the air but also on the plates laid out on the table. It was as if they had forgotten to warm them up before serving, and that made the start of the meal an unpleasant experience. To make matters worse, we were moved around twice during the meal, which clearly showed a lack of organization and planning on the part of the restaurant. It was frustrating packing our food and moving while trying to enjoy a pleasant meal. But that was only the beginning of our problems. The food itself was not only cold, but also tasted like rubber. In addition to the lack of taste and disappointing quality of the food, the service was also extremely slow and unprofessional. It took forever before we were even noticed, and when we were finally able to order, another long few minutes passed before our food arrived. The waiters seemed disinterested and disorganized and it was obvious that they were overwhelmed by the situation. All in all, I can only describe the Antep Doy Doy restaurant as an absolute failure. From the chilly atmosphere to the cold food to the slow and unprofessional service, my experience there was one of the worst I've ever had at a restaurant. I can only hope that management soon becomes aware of the problems and takes steps to improve quality and service before more customers are disappointed.

You are served after 40 minutes, no waiter comes and after you have ordered the food takes another 40 minutes. You sit in the restaurant and wait until everyone who came after us is served. There were 6 of us there, food came and the other 5 people watched until one person finished eating. Tea is almost thrown at your head, which is an absolute disgrace. Other than these things, the food was delicious.

During my last visit to the restaurant there were a few areas that had room for improvement. Unfortunately my order was not served as expected. Both the sauce and the homemade ayran didn't seem fresh. The meat from the kebab skewer was quite fatty, which reduced the enjoyment. Despite a quiet lunchtime, the staff didn't seem particularly attentive and it took a while for my order to be processed. I hope these points will be addressed in the future to improve the experience for all guests.

With a really long wait it's not worth it for the first and last time I've been here! I waited two hours for food, it was really unbelievable!! Not to be believed! The guests would have bitten my head off just as much out of hunger.

If I could, I wouldn't even give it one star. I've rarely seen anything as disrespectful as this. We reserved a table for 5 people the day before, which was confirmed on the phone. When we called again that day to be on the safe side to see if everything would work (iftar meal), we were told that there was no reservation in the name and that we were already completely booked. I find such behavior highly unprofessional, as they subtly wanted to tell us that we were lying here.

My husband and I visited the restaurant today around 6:30 p.m. I made it clear that I was allergic to rice and asked that my grilled plate contain only bulgur instead of regular rice. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when eating because I noticed that there were a few grains of rice in my bulgur. Apparently it was served with the same spoon. This was particularly unfortunate because I had specifically emphasized my allergy when ordering. The food was still tasty and I am aware that a rice allergy is rare. Nevertheless, it would be desirable if more care was taken with allergy warnings in the future in order to simply avoid such incidents.

I've been to Antep doy doy several times now and was relatively satisfied. The meat is tender and delicious. The last time I got a mixed grill plate. After one or two bites of the kebab, a piece of bone destroyed my tooth. Something like that can always happen, but you should pay more attention to it when processing it, it's really a no go!

I ordered through Junkiefood, after 40 minutes there was no email and I decided to call and ask if my order had arrived, the answer: just arrived, internet problems - food will be delivered in 30 minutes. The food was there 1 hour after the phone call, lukewarm, 70% burnt meat, dry - burnt bread. At Lahmacun, despite notes and a request that the salad should be delivered separately, they put the sauce, salad and everything in it... everything was soggy. Paid over €40 to throw 80% into the organic bin. When I tried to contact the restaurant to explain everything, I was pushed away three times. Not recommendable!

The best Turkish restaurant I've been to. Everything is fresh and very tasty. I have ordered from them at home many times, dined in the restaurant itself and have never been disappointed. I advise everyone to come and enjoy excellent Turkish cuisine.

Yesterday we had dinner at Antep DoyDoy with 4 boys because we had been there before, but it was several years ago. At the entrance we were informed that there was a live band playing in the background today, this was disturbing but not [yet]. Had a nice seat and the restaurant was well attended. After 15 minutes someone came and “slammed” the cards onto the table and disappeared again without a word. After another 10 minutes someone came and stood at our table without saying a word, we all looked at each other and asked this waiter if he would like to take our order? He agreed to this, albeit reluctantly. We ordered drinks, starters and main courses. Unfortunately, for example the kebab skewer is already sold out. Less than 2 minutes later we had our drinks, unfortunately my wheat was warm. Three minutes later someone came again and put a salad in the middle of the table and left. Nobody ordered a salad. If you ask: it's from the house, for you :). Excellent. Another 2 minutes later our main course arrived, there was neither a good appetite nor was anything said about the starters... Well, from that point on we couldn't have a conversation anymore because the PA system was turned up so loud that I could hear my own words could no longer understand, let alone understand what the singer was singing. When we were almost through with the main course, the starters were thrown onto the table again without comment. The light in the toilet flickered so strongly that I thought I was at the disco and the Stobo lamp was on full blast. Still to eat: -It was okay, in our opinion the price-performance ratio wasn't right, too expensive, small portions, prepared without love. In any case, we won't be coming back. At the end there was neither: "Did you like it", "Can I offer you something else". Service seems to be unimportant to the employees. In any case, we won't be coming back.

I ordered a small Dürüm and was really disappointed. The price of €8.50 is really exaggerated There wasn't much in the flatbread other than meat. Some carrot, some onion and sauce. Unfortunately the meat had been on the spit for quite a long time and was correspondingly dry. The sauce was good and so was the flatbread. Overall, but far too overpriced for what is on offer.

The food is OK, but the waiters make you feel like you have to apologize for eating there. When you eat you are not asked for details.

I used to enjoy going to this restaurant often. Unfortunately, the ambience and especially the service have changed very disadvantageously. The service is ignorant(!), politeness is completely lacking. No questions are answered and you are left standing while you speak. Hello, please, thank you, sorry... vocabulary that seems to be unknown here in the service. There is no feeling of hospitality. Dinner with the family was a failure. Everyone got their food at a different time, the last one started eating when the first was already finished... the food was carelessly placed on the table where there was still room. There is no clearing. The pallet tables have been rearranged so that the atmosphere of a cafeteria is created... nice dining out, you don't do that at doy doy. You'll definitely get full, but you will in a chip shop too. I'm really disappointed with this development!

I was here again in the restaurant after years and was shocked. The staff unfriendly and incompetent. The meals were served at different times. Some already had it and others had to wait a long time. The food was neither hot nor warm. In terms of taste, the Ottoman pan was an absolute failure. Lukewarm and tasteless. The drinks are absolutely overpriced. The bottle of water, a whopping €7. The staff disinterested and unprofessional. Cleaning products are right at the dining table and the cloth smelled very unpleasant. Very bad standard. I'm not coming back. Every other fast food restaurant is more pleasant, clean and friendlier. Absolutely not recommended.

We were invited there for dinner today. The food was good, the starters were also very tasty. Can just be recommended.

Anyone who loves loud Turkish music and dry fingers will feel at home here. Before the renovation 5 years ago it tasted much better
