A fantastic evening with delicious food and great beer. The service was super friendly and always made sure we didn't run out of drinks. Excellent service, highly recommended!

Yesterday, after a walk, I went back to Andreasbräu, and I was shocked: 5.50 for a 0.5 liter beer in the country is simply outrageous! Since I boycott any bar that has a 5 in front of the decimal point for its beer, you won't see me again! The food prices are also exorbitant, and the western potatoes were dripping with fat! Also, as other guests have criticized, they were practically drowned in garlic sauce! What a shame for this otherwise quaint place :-(

I ordered a Wiener schnitzel with fries, the classic. The two small schnitzels were very thin and consisted mostly of breadcrumbs. I've had better Wiener schnitzels.

The Andreasbräu in Leopoltshafen is a small and very cozy brewery. It also has a lovely beer garden with a pleasant atmosphere. The beer selection is limited but delicious 😋 the food is very good and plentiful❗️👍 The staff is also very friendly and strives to ensure a smooth and fast service. I really liked it, and I will include this lovely brewery in my itinerary more often.

Wonderful, delicious food and drinks. Great atmosphere. We don't need to be on vacation; the beautiful Kraichgau and the Rhine plain have almost everything we need. We'd be happy to come back!

Very good beer, brewed in-house. Pilsner is available year-round. There are also seasonal specialty beers like bock, wheat, etc. I've enjoyed all the beers I've tried so far. The food is rustic, as you'd expect from a brewery restaurant, but very tasty, and the portions are generous. A definite recommendation for anyone who loves good beer!

If you love beer, this is the place for you. They have a rotating selection of home-brewed beers. I had a naturally cloudy pilsner. It tasted okay, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. The food is also very tasty, and the portions are generous. You can sit inside or outside. Given the nice weather, I sat outside, of course.

I enjoyed a good beer with a friendly group. Unfortunately, my cheese spaetzle were very simple – instead of a creamy mixture of spaetzle (or rather, knöpfle), onions, and mountain cheese, I got "stubborn" factory-made spaetzle (haven't had it like this since 2004), gratinated with hard but largely tasteless cheese and garnished with store-bought fried onions. It reminded me of my time in the student dorm, but at €15.80, it was under-complex and not good value for money. The portion was generous, but more of a foodie than a treat. The pilsner was pleasantly hoppy and perfectly tempered. I'll order sausage and fries next time; "cooked" dishes could use slightly more expensive ingredients (with spaetzle, 20 cents more is enough to create the illusion of handmade spaetzle) and a bit more love in the cooking. Conclusion: A good day-trip restaurant with great beer, but there's room for improvement with more complex dishes.

The rustic and pleasant atmosphere features a leafy outdoor area. The service is friendly and prompt. The food is delicious, well-seasoned, and generously served. I didn't try the house beer, as I don't drink alcohol, but I ordered the bratwurst and was satisfied.

The pulled pork burger tasted simply fantastic. The meat was wonderfully tender, juicy, and aromatically seasoned. Absolutely delicious.

Highly recommended. Four of us were there at 3:30 PM. We had a nice seat in the beer garden.

Not recommended. The food wasn't good at all, a shame for the money. Strasbourg sausage salad tasted like nothing. Schnitzel wasn't good either, it was prepared in the deep fryer and the breading came off. The side salad on the overflowing plate of iceberg lettuce was almost without dressing. The staff is/whatever not friendly. We won't go there anymore.

May 11, 2025. 4:40 p.m. Unfortunately we sat with empty glasses for 45 minutes and were not asked if we would like anything else. We had a central table, 116, that the operator constantly walked past. The smoke from the neighboring tables is rather unappetizing. The cell phone restriction is great. Beer and food a recommendation.

We had pork steak with potatoes and caramelized onions and bacon as a topping. Bacon was out but there was no alternative, onion was at most half a normal size. Max 1.5 normal size potatoes and the tip was max 1.5 teaspoons and the meat was also partly flaxy. The whole thing for 28.50, of course without any reduction (keyword: no bacon). The bright spot was the friendly service who at least apologized for the fact that there was no more bacon. Brewery restaurant with probably a lot of cyclists on a well-used cycle path... people who usually don't come twice and that's why you don't really have to try.

Great destination after the bike tour – delicious salad and beer and great atmosphere! After an extensive bike tour, we stopped at Andreas Bräu - and it was a really good decision! I had the Greek salad with olives, Balkan cheese, pepperoni and actually a roll, which I could easily swap for a freshly baked pretzel (little tip: definitely do it!). For €16.90 I got a generous portion with fresh cabbage salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions and a really tasty dressing. There was also a freshly tapped Pils which tasted wonderful. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting - perfect for putting your feet up after cycling. I'd love to come back!

What I liked best was the ambience. Unfortunately the food was not convincing. Unfortunately there was no hefeweizen beer. They were not allowed to bring water to the table for the dog

The beer is one of the best in the area, even a tad better than Vogelbräu in my opinion, tastes are certainly different... but the service has gotten worse, maybe it will get better again... I've been a regular since it was founded. 25 prices increased 5.50 euros the half pilsner is already heavy.. The limit has been reached, you just go there less and drink less.. Whether it's still worth it in the long run is questionable. Competition is cheaper Vogelbräu, Badische Brauhaus, Kühler Krug etc. especially the food is cheaper, better and richer. It's a shame actually..

As an ex-Schröcker, I haven't been to the A-Bräu for many years. I was actually happy, but unfortunately I won't try again for many years. The conclusion first: It's okay to visit Andreasbräu just because of the beer, unfortunately I can't recommend the rest. Let's start with the service: The first impression that the employee had no interest in her job was quickly confirmed when we asked about the food. Instead of professionally responding to the guest's wishes and questions, we only received the answer that was answered quite quickly and which I loved so much: "There have never been any complaints about that." Clear! The guest is to blame and has absurd ideas. Good setting! Our inquiry related to the fact that the wedges were drowned in "garlic" sauce (which tasted like mayonnaise and tried to cover up the lack of flavor with strong spiciness) instead of letting the guest decide for themselves about the degree of "soaking" with a bowl that is often found elsewhere. A trifle, but not the last. Beforehand, we had to figure out that a latte macchiato at Andreasbräu means a 100ml drink with foam for €4.30. The "leaf salad" presented consisted of a deep plate with carelessly arranged iceberg lettuce drowned in an undefined vinegar-water soup, garnished with unripe tomato quarters. The daily meal "chicken legs with fries" was ok, although the request for missing ketchup was acknowledged without a word with a ketchup portion sachet pulled out of the apron and thrown onto the table (!). Even if this may not really be considered a quality criterion for a home brewery restaurant, I always find it astonishing that even in A-Bräu you only get mediocre non-alcoholic drinks from the bottle (filled into a glass) that taste so bland that you immediately want to resort to the alcohol version. The carelessly prepared, below-average food, the above-average drinks and the unfriendly service created an atmosphere of running away and not coming back for the time being. Too bad. The Andreasbräu was once a great address for a tasty snack and a cozy drink.

Great pilsner, not so heavily hopped! As a native of Westphalia, exactly the right thing. I'm happy to travel 13 km for this. The masters of ceremonies behind the counter know what they are doing!! I feel very comfortable as a guest. The best thing is, I can express my wishes in my native language! Vogelbräu never ever!!!!

Yummy!! I like this brewery. You sit comfortably, the food is good and the shandy is delicious. There is a mini-point deduction because the smoke from the outside of the tent (in the cold season) moves in and overall you smell completely like a tavern and smoke. So you just put on clothes that are going to be thrown in the laundry afterwards and then it's crazy 🤠

We were at AB last Friday...the young man at the bar was making a hell of a racket with the glasses, so we left early...we could hardly talk.!!! I don't know if I'll come back...we always enjoyed going to the AB...but the noise didn't just get on our nerves. This is how you can scare away guests.

Today we went to Andreasbräu again after a long time. The beer is still very good. Likewise the service. I was disappointed with the food. The sauce came out of the bag; the potato salad from the bucket and the meat loaf was just greasy. I've experienced it here before in a much better way and with more demands on quality.

Good beer, delicious food. The fried Maultaschen are really a bit small, but the rest is in sufficient quantity. The pretzels and the malt steak are particularly recommended. The service also leaves nothing to be desired. I'll be back.

Was one of my most popular destinations on the bike tour. Delicious, home-brewed, unfiltered beer, home-style food, although some of it is now overpriced and doesn't fill you up. When I order sausage salad with fries for 15 euros, I expect to be full - but it was far from that, so I had to satisfy my hunger in other ways. I will eat out in the future. I've eaten sausage salad here several times, but the portion was half.

Went to the Andreasbräu today, the food we chose was unfortunately not of good quality meat, there was also a lack of spices, the dish is very overpriced in our opinion, the only good thing on our plate were the potato wedges and the dip, unfortunately there was far too little here The price-performance ratio was definitely not maintained, the service responded to our criticism in a friendly and confident manner and offered us a drink on the house as an apology, which we politely declined, it's a shame that the big pinch of love for cooking was missing here.

The ambience is very nice. I ordered the soup of the day and it was a bit too salty for me, but I don't know if that's usual or if it was actually too salty. In any case, I couldn't eat it anymore and that was almost all of the soup. But the waitress was so nice and didn't charge me for the soup in the end because I hardly ate any of it. I found that very hospitable and accommodating. I'd love to come here again and maybe order a schnitzel :)

I like it there. Been there for many years. Ended up there again after a long time as a stopover on a bike tour... The pretzels 🥨 were absolutely fresh and so hot… very good. Otherwise, as before, the food was very good. Unfortunately, the 0.5l apple juice spritzer costs almost €5. The large beer €5.20.

Unfortunately, things were better. There were four of us and we weren't impressed by the quality. Too expensive for what we were offered. It's a shame, we used to love coming.
