Nice atmosphere and very good food

I've been going there for years, always good, cheap and extensive menu, friendly and attentive staff and long opening hours. Food quickly on the table, generous portion, with different side dishes as ordered.

Good store, even if it once had a better price-performance ratio. Recommendation.

A very nice restaurant. The waitress was very nice and let us stay late that night because we couldn't get the train. The apple tea and the borek were highly recommended. Really a good choice, especially if you have to stay late at night

Such delicious food, and service that went above and beyond! The vegetables were so savoury and cooked to perfection. The cappuccino was naturally sweet and soothingly creamy. They even brought us some free tea/shots at the end! Thanks for the lovely stop along our drive.

The store used to be better. Staff unfriendly People often try to rip you off Example you ordered something for €3.50 and they only try to give you €1 back for €5. In any case, I don't eat anything here anymore!!! Of course, today you can no longer get a kebab for €3.50. Had to change it a bit because the review was deleted.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Anadolu in Kassel and all I can say is that it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere in the restaurant is inviting and cozy. The decor reflects Turkish culture and creates a warm ambience that is perfect for a relaxing evening. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Turkish dishes, and I was impressed by the freshness and quality of the ingredients. I tried the lamb kebab and the meze platter and both were simply delicious. The flavors were intense and well balanced, and the portions were generous. The service was also outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive and always eager to make sure we had everything we needed. It was nice to see that they really care about their guests. I can recommend Anadolu Restaurant to anyone who loves Turkish cuisine or just wants to try something new. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Best regards Abidin Kilic

Great, we've been getting our kebabs and the like here for years! Friendly, tasty and never too little! Even where we now live in Felsberg (for 7 years). As soon as we drive through Kassel we pick up a kebab! Thank you and hopefully see you soon! 😍

The boys saved my life last night. Otherwise I could have spent the night on the street, charging my cell phone and eating. Even though there wasn't a lot of meat in the kebab, it was still very tasty. Very pleasant employees and very hospitable. Would miss my connecting train again!

Where else can you get a kebab at 2 a.m.? :-) Friendly service, fair prices, delicious food! There are enough spaces inside and outside, but parking spaces are more likely to be found in the neighboring streets. It's best to walk or take the tram stop directly opposite. You can save yourself the beer in the shop (Efes), it's better to get it before/after at the Späti - a 5 minute walk up Friedrich Ebert Straße. Only the “Tadim” in Wetzlar is better!

The quality of meat here is below average! at excessive prices. It is also noticeable that customers are treated differently depending on their personal liking. People in work clothes are not welcome and are treated disparagingly. Poor people get worse quality for the same money. Quote what I picked up. "A kebab (with a vulnerable look for the man in the boiler suit) and a really good kebab (for the increased lackadaisical monkey behind him)..." To my colleagues at Immoscout... grab the location. There are very immoral people there!

So I've been not only a customer but also a fan of anadulo for over 20 years. Here you don't just get the best kebab, but also the best homemade hot sauce, which I have to recommend to everyone to try ✌🏼😃🌶️🥙❤️

Starter plates, Dürüm kebab plates and falafel plates were super tasty. Service very friendly. There wasn't much going on on a Sunday lunchtime. Terrace was pleasant although not great ambience. Even gave tea on the house. We'll definitely be back!

Anadolu is always worth a visit. Old school. Not fancy. But that's what makes it. However, the facility could be renewed. The service is super nice. The food comes very quickly.

So, “the best kebab in Kassel” can be debated! 😉 I specifically went to this store because of the reviews. First of all, the service staff is awesome³!! The location is clean & tidy - plus outside seating and the ayran seems homemade?! - anyway it was delicious! The kebab plate, on the other hand, was unfortunately just average - although that is a matter of opinion and taste. The meat was only lukewarm, and in the ratio of quantity to price, in my opinion that's €2 more, but the prices have increased everywhere. But we're still a bit away from the "best kebab" here. The overall package wasn't bad at all! Afterwards there was a very tasty tea on the house and there was plenty of seating.

In 2023, do you really have to grab the flatbread with your bare fingers, keyword hygiene? Otherwise standard, but far too little sauce in the kebab (that's the most important thing!), the USP is missing. Still 3 stars because I got tea on the house during a previous visit, which wasn't my taste, but very nice.

I stopped here early in the night, after a tour of the departmental bars, just before my tram and picked up a kebab and I have to say that the person who served me was super friendly even though it was just before midnight..... and it was by far the best kebab I've ever eaten...

Number one restaurant in Kassel

In none of the cities that I have visited from Hamburg to Munich have I ever been able to experience a kebab shop of this caliber. Large portions at fair prices with outstanding quality. I advise every visitor to choose a menu that includes grilled vegetables. The meat is high quality, but it almost takes on a secondary role considering the side dishes. There is also excellent service. People like to take the extra step so you don’t have to wait. Our justified praise was consistently rewarded with a raki on the house. How I was treated here is my new benchmark for restaurants well beyond this price range.

The kebab is okay. I think the biggest revenue item is generated by drunk people on the weekend. The store is always packed at night. Basically, the price-performance ratio is right here, but I feel less incentive to eat a kebab there when I'm sober. Central location close to Friedrich-Ebert-Str.

Went here with my friend to have a quick lunch. I only ordered Doner as I was not really hungry but my friend was. And I could say, it was the best Doner I had here in Germany. The owner was really nice too. They have so many options, but I have not got the chance to try it yet. But definitely would be back to try other options on the menu.

Obwohl ich mir nur betrunken einen Döner im Anadolu geholt habe, war mein Eindruck davon durchschnittlich. Es erfüllte seinen Zweck, war aber nichts Besonderes. Es könnte sein, dass das Restaurant andere Speisen bietet, die einen besseren Eindruck hinterlassen. Für einen schnellen Snack war der Döner jedoch in Ordnung.

Shop kept super clean, no smell from the snack bar. After the meal, tea is served extremely hot but damn tasty. I would recommend it to anyone who really wants to eat a decent kebab.

Prices are fair, food is delicious. At lunchtime there are often other delicious specialties in addition to rotisserie. Service is nice, fast and friendly. The location is also very central and easily accessible from the city center by train at Fünffensterstraße or Rathaus. In the evening it's worth a detour from the discotheque on the other side Unfortunately it is often very crowded and therefore noisy at lunchtime; they are probably too popular.

I got a kebab to take away and it was good. But the service still needs improvement.

It was as if they felt uncomfortable when we came. The waiter took the order grumpily and monotonously, and for a long time no one paid any attention to us. Those who came after us finished their dishes and started drinking tea. When we asked about the status of our order, the employees asked each other without knowing about the order. When we were already tired from waiting and wanted to cancel the order, they didn't allow us. The food was also very bad. They called themselves a Turkish restaurant, but they had no idea about Turkish cuisine or the hospitality typical of Turkish restaurants. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.

There were gums under the table, we received very bad service, our orders were not even received after 40 minutes. The waiter who took care of us was rude to us and when we tried to cancel the order they did not let us. After all of this the iskender we received did not even look like iskender. Overall it was a terrible experience.

I've never eaten such a bad kebab before. At later hours you will only be checked in there. They didn't even ask what exactly should be on it, just threw something together and it was done. Staff also completely unfriendly. Never again.

Einfach alles ist schlecht. Essen schmeckt nicht und meine freundin haben sie auch morgens nach der Nachtschicht angeschnauzt obwohl sie nur gefragt hat ob noch essen gibt. Für mich ist der laden gestorben!

Es ist hier nicht laut, sauber und nicht immer voll, besonders tagsüber und abends, man findet immer ein Plätzchen, auch für mehrere Personen. Man wird sehr schnell bedient, Wartezeit bei Dönergerichten ca. 3-5 Minuten. Preis/Leistung-Verhältnis - sehr gut! Nach jedem Besuch immer mit positivem Eindruck gegangen.
