Best kebab shop, almost unique restaurant

We returned to this restaurant after a few years, and so much has changed for the better. Back then, we noticed that the plates were damaged. Today, everything is completely different. The dishes are spotless, in perfect condition, and the restaurant has been completely renovated. The staff is very friendly and humorous. At the end, you even get a bargain or Turkish tea, which isn't always a given these days. My wife and I would like to thank you for a wonderful evening. Darius and Eva

The mini doner kebab (veal) for €4.70 is a fair price, the size of a large burger and only half the price. The service is still very attentive, even for a small meal. I've enjoyed eating here for years.

This was the worst kebab I've ever eaten. The flatbread wasn't cooked all the way through, and the meat tasted very poor and wasn't cooked properly. The dürüm was about 80% red lettuce and hardly any meat. 🚫 Absolutely not recommended

An institution in Kassel for over 20 years. If you get hungry at night, you can go to Anadolu without hesitation. Anadolu impresses with its quality, friendliness, and cleanliness. Other places with cool names and bold ideas should please take their cue from Anadolu and try to prove themselves in Kassel for so many years. I'll be happy to come back.

I've come to appreciate this restaurant; I'm often in Kassel at night, and I always look forward to a delicious plate of kofte. I can truly recommend this restaurant, especially since the opening hours are very extended, and you're still well looked after, even late at night.

The veal doner kebabs were plentiful and tasty, but not outstanding. Coke from a glass bottle and tea by the glass are a plus. The service was friendly and professional. Newly renovated, the shop has a modern, clean feel (anthracite is stylish, but not my style). All in all, a good base. I miss the familiar, cozy atmosphere of other shops.

Great shop! I'm a vegetarian and I have to say I've rarely eaten such a delicious vegetarian kebab. The vegetables are really great, fresh and crunchy, and even olives. The spicy sauce is super tasty. The staff is also super personable and friendly. What's also really cool is that if you follow the shop on Instagram, you can use a timer. If you manage to finish it in exactly 10 seconds, you get your food for free. I'd love to come back here.

Our yogurt sauce was rotten/sour, so it was inedible! The employee had to spit it out when we asked him to try it. Both of us immediately threw up when we got home! I honestly have no words for that. We would never eat there again. As "compensation," we only had to pay for our böreks and not the sauce (which is extremely cheeky). Our evening was completely ruined, and the next two days were probably ruined as well.

As a walk-in, I requested a table for two people, free to choose my own seating. We didn't have to wait long for the menus, but we were quite surprised that the prices were quite steep. Of course, everyone pays for the supposed ambiance. This is, of course, always a matter of taste, just like the food. I couldn't complain, but I've had much better. I was shocked that this "restaurant" doesn't accept card payments. So, we're talking about a very cheap kebab shop again. Since COVID, every bakery can do that; you want to save yourself the fees! I'll definitely look elsewhere next time...

I was there for the first time since the renovations, and the steak doner and regular doner kebabs were delicious. The atmosphere was super cozy, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the hygiene standards were high. Worth every penny.

Outrageously long wait times. This kebab shop thinks it's a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. A reality check and skilled workers are urgently needed. The steak meat is more like regular veal. Two names for the same taste. Unlike the veal, I won't be a second customer here. I'd rather go to Tat Urfa.

Price/performance needs improvement

I've been there many times, and unfortunately, I've often noticed that if you don't look Mediterranean, people whisper in each other's ears, and then you get strange looks. I'm sure I've ordered veal several times and received chicken.

I wanted lamb skewer Dürüm and got salad Dürüm with a few kebab pieces. When I pointed this out, I was told that it wasn't a kebab, but lamb strips 😂😂 I didn't want to argue and had it wrapped up... I paid €9 for a Dürüm salad and I wanted lamb skewers and not lamb strips... The service was nice, but he didn't even know what kind of sauces they had or whether they even had soup... it was tiring to order because he had no idea of ​​the menu. My husband thought the steak kebab was delicious. Unfortunately everything was very chaotic. SHAME FOR THE MONEY... The ambience was ruined because the staff gathered in the middle and stared at us while we were eating, probably so they could clear up or because we were the only guests...

The ambience was great, the staff was great, everyone knew what to do, you could see a well-coordinated team working today there was a small kebab box and everything was perfect, from the perfectly fried fries to the juicy meat, everything was perfect

I ordered a Köfte Ekmek and it more than met my expectations. The service is still top and after the renovation the ambience has improved again.

After the reopening it became very good. Food and service very good. Come again.

After the renovation, it definitely looks different from other kebab shops. And the three skewers ("steak", veal (not rotisserie) and turkey) are also something special. The steak kebab was very tasty, although a bit unusual.

5 stars! The legendary Anadolu Restaurant in Kassel is hardly recognizable after the renovation, and in the best possible way! Everything looks stylish, modern and at the same time as inviting as before. The quality has improved enormously. The absolute highlight: the steak meat from the skewer is buttery tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. And the bread? Incredibly delicious! Crispy, served warm, with extra sesame, a dream. A big compliment to the team: you have really raised the level. Keep it up, guys!

The food is always fresh, delicious and prepared with love - you immediately notice that quality and taste count here. The selection is varied, so there really is something for everyone. The service is also great: friendly, fast and reliable – even at peak times. Whether culinary at home during your lunch break or with the family privately - I can only recommend it to everyone.

For many years now, it has been my go-to when the kitchen at home stays cold. Always good and wholesome, extensive and interesting menu, fair prices and mostly friendly and attentive staff, long opening hours. I just sometimes find the oriental music to be a bit too present.

It's certainly okay in the summer, but eating with the door open in minus 4 degrees Celsius was very, very unpleasant, and eating there wasn't much fun. When I asked about it, I was told that the door was broken and that it was just the way it was.

Attention: Customers have several menus with different prices. I think prices vary depending on the target audience. The quality is nothing special. Oh, and the change was also incorrect (too little, of course).
