We're thrilled; Anadolu has benefited greatly from its reservation. Everything looks chic and very inviting, cozy yet very stylish. The food is excellent as always; we're always more than satisfied. Anadolu has a wall poster saying "arrived as a guest and left as a friend," and it's true! We're always delighted when we're greeted warmly and with kindness. Great team! Thank you!!! 😃

Great shop! I'm a vegetarian and I have to say I've rarely eaten such a delicious vegetarian kebab. The vegetables are really great, fresh and crunchy, and even olives. The spicy sauce is super tasty. The staff is also super personable and friendly. What's also really cool is that if you follow the shop on Instagram, you can use a timer. If you manage to finish it in exactly 10 seconds, you get your food for free. I'd love to come back here.

In, "no card payment," out again. The store is pure money laundering. And anyone who can't afford a transaction fee of approximately 1.5% is running a dubious business.

A börek plate with salad and no dressing, and the tzatziki was very limited and not homemade. Then they also overlooked the fact that they didn't accept card payments... a walk and an extra €3.50 fee. What a shame.

Our yogurt sauce was rotten/sour, so it was inedible! The employee had to spit it out when we asked him to try it. Both of us immediately threw up when we got home! I honestly have no words for that. We would never eat there again. As "compensation," we only had to pay for our böreks and not the sauce (which is extremely cheeky). Our evening was completely ruined, and the next two days were probably ruined as well.

After leaving two other restaurants downtown due to inadequate ambiance and value for money, I was pleasantly surprised here. The food was so delicious that we even ordered more! Fresh, authentic, and lovingly prepared. The service was attentive and very friendly. The restaurant is clean, family-friendly, and highly recommended. As a walk-in, I requested a table for two people, free to choose my own seating. We didn't have to wait long for the menus, but we were quite surprised that the prices were quite steep. Of course, everyone pays for the supposed ambiance. This is, of course, always a matter of taste, just like the food. I couldn't complain, but I've had much better. I was shocked that this "restaurant" doesn't accept card payments. So, we're talking about a very cheap kebab shop again. Since COVID, every bakery can do that; you want to save yourself the fees! I'll definitely look elsewhere next time...

I was there for the first time since the renovations, and the steak doner and regular doner kebabs were delicious. The atmosphere was super cozy, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the hygiene standards were high. Worth every penny.

Price/performance needs improvement

Outrageously long wait times. This kebab shop thinks it's a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. A reality check and skilled workers are urgently needed. The steak meat is more like regular veal. Two names for the same taste. Unlike the veal, I won't be a second customer here. I'd rather go to Tat Urfa.

I've been there many times, and unfortunately, I've often noticed that if you don't look Mediterranean, people whisper in each other's ears, and then you get strange looks. I'm sure I've ordered veal several times and received chicken.

I wanted lamb skewer Dürüm and got salad Dürüm with a few kebab pieces. When I pointed this out, I was told that it wasn't a kebab, but lamb strips 😂😂 I didn't want to argue and had it wrapped up... I paid €9 for a Dürüm salad and I wanted lamb skewers and not lamb strips... The service was nice, but he didn't even know what kind of sauces they had or whether they even had soup... it was tiring to order because he had no idea of ​​the menu. My husband thought the steak kebab was delicious. Unfortunately everything was very chaotic. SHAME FOR THE MONEY... The ambience was ruined because the staff gathered in the middle and stared at us while we were eating, probably so they could clear up or because we were the only guests...

Today I'm revising my review because I was there again today to eat. The ambience was great, the staff was great, everyone knew what to do, you could see a well-coordinated team working today there was a small kebab box and everything was perfect, from the perfectly fried fries to the juicy meat, everything was perfect

I ordered a Köfte Ekmek and it more than met my expectations. The service is still top and after the renovation the ambience has improved again.

After the reopening it became very good. Food and service very good. Come again.

After the renovation, it definitely looks different from other kebab shops. And the three skewers ("steak", veal (not rotisserie) and turkey) are also something special. The steak kebab was very tasty, although a bit unusual.

5 stars! The legendary Anadolu Restaurant in Kassel is hardly recognizable after the renovation, and in the best possible way! Everything looks stylish, modern and at the same time as inviting as before. The quality has improved enormously. The absolute highlight: the steak meat from the skewer is buttery tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. And the bread? Incredibly delicious! Crispy, served warm, with extra sesame, a dream. A big compliment to the team: you have really raised the level. Keep it up, guys!

The food is always fresh, delicious and prepared with love - you immediately notice that quality and taste count here. The selection is varied, so there really is something for everyone. The service is also great: friendly, fast and reliable – even at peak times. Whether culinary at home during your lunch break or with the family privately - I can only recommend it to everyone.

The new owners are very friendly and provide very good service. In the meantime there were owners there who weren't so friendly. Fortunately, that has now changed again. I can recommend it again because the food is really very good.

For many years now, it has been my go-to when the kitchen at home stays cold. Always good and wholesome, extensive and interesting menu, fair prices and mostly friendly and attentive staff, long opening hours. I just sometimes find the oriental music to be a bit too present.

It's certainly okay in the summer, but eating with the door open in minus 4 degrees Celsius was very, very unpleasant, and eating there wasn't much fun. When I asked about it, I was told that the door was broken and that it was just the way it was.

Attention: Customers have several menus with different prices. I think prices vary depending on the target audience. The quality is nothing special. Oh, and the change was also incorrect (too little, of course).

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Anadolu in Kassel and all I can say is that it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere in the restaurant is inviting and cozy. The decor reflects Turkish culture and creates a warm ambience that is perfect for a relaxing evening. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Turkish dishes, and I was impressed by the freshness and quality of the ingredients. I tried the lamb kebab and the meze platter and both were simply delicious. The flavors were intense and well balanced, and the portions were generous. The service was also outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive and always eager to make sure we had everything we needed. It was nice to see that they really care about their guests. Great, we've been getting our kebabs and the like here for years! Friendly, tasty and never too little! Even where we now live in Felsberg (for 7 years). As soon as we drive through Kassel we pick up a kebab! Thank you and hopefully see you soon! 😍

The boys saved my life last night. Otherwise I could have spent the night on the street, charging my cell phone and eating. Even though there wasn't a lot of meat in the kebab, it was still very tasty. Very pleasant employees and very hospitable. Would miss my connecting train again!

Where else can you get a kebab at 2 a.m.? :-) Friendly service, fair prices, delicious food! There are enough spaces inside and outside, but parking spaces are more likely to be found in the neighboring streets. It's best to walk or take the tram stop directly opposite. You can save yourself the beer in the shop (Efes), it's better to get it before/after at the Späti - a 5 minute walk up Friedrich Ebert Straße. Only the “Tadim” in Wetzlar is better!

The quality of meat here is below average! at excessive prices. It is also noticeable that customers are treated differently depending on their personal liking. People in work clothes are not welcome and are treated disparagingly. Poor people get worse quality for the same money. Quote what I picked up. "A kebab (with a vulnerable look for the man in the boiler suit) and a really good kebab (for the increased lackadaisical monkey behind him)..." To my colleagues at Immoscout... grab the location. Starter plates, Dürüm kebab plates and falafel plates were super tasty. Service very friendly. There wasn't much going on on a Sunday lunchtime. Terrace was pleasant although not great ambience. Even gave tea on the house. We'll definitely be back!

Anadolu is always worth a visit. Old school. Not fancy. But that's what makes it. However, the facility could be renewed. The service is super nice. The food comes very quickly.

So, “the best kebab in Kassel” can be debated! 😉 I specifically went to this store because of the reviews. First of all, the service staff is awesome³!! The location is clean & tidy - plus outside seating and the ayran seems homemade?! - anyway it was delicious! The kebab plate, on the other hand, was unfortunately just average - although that is a matter of opinion and taste. The meat was only lukewarm, and in the ratio of quantity to price, in my opinion that's €2 more, but the prices have increased everywhere. But we're still a bit away from the "best kebab" here. The overall package wasn't bad at all! Afterwards there was a very tasty tea on the house and there was plenty of seating.

In 2023, do you really have to grab the flatbread with your bare fingers, keyword hygiene? Otherwise standard, but far too little sauce in the kebab (that's the most important thing!), the USP is missing. In none of the cities that I have visited from Hamburg to Munich have I ever been able to experience a kebab shop of this caliber. Large portions at fair prices with outstanding quality. I advise every visitor to choose a menu that includes grilled vegetables. The meat is high quality, but it almost takes on a secondary role considering the side dishes. There is also excellent service. People like to take the extra step so you don’t have to wait. Our justified praise was consistently rewarded with a raki on the house. How I was treated here is my new benchmark for restaurants well beyond this price range.
