Anadolu Restaurant in Unna

Good morning, dear Anadolu team, sorry that we didn't give a full score. We visited you yesterday after many years and decided to come back spontaneously because we were in Unna again. A very warm and friendly welcome and great service. But as my wife and I have both enjoyed going to Turkey and eating Turkish food for well over 30 years and are passionate amateur cooks ourselves, I have to say that the dishes and salads tasted very bland. I had the Iskender Kebab and I have to be honest and say that I didn't like it at all. The stuffed mushrooms weren't that great either. It could be that both came with the same tomato sauce, so the sauce was missing something special. It was missing something special and salt. The Zigarra Böreks were simply great, but I think it was the tomato sauce that lacked freshness and spices. A little tip for the salad: maybe add some lemon or pomegranate, or mint. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable. My wife just said it tasted Germanized. I'd like something a little more traditional. Nevertheless, thank you very much for your hospitality. Perhaps that's nitpicking at a high level.

Four of us were there. Everyone had a different dish. The owner's welcome was very warm. We had made a reservation inside and were lucky that, despite the nice weather, there was still a table outside for us. There are only three things to criticize: the vegetarian dish, as well as my doner kebab on a flatbread topped with vegetables, were drowned in tomato sauce, so that the other flavors were completely undetectable. The tomatoes themselves all still had the green stems. That should have been cut out. The salad that was served beforehand, which came with the €18.90 menu, was very small and unfortunately only green. I had previously read in a review that they only accept cash. There was no mention of this in the restaurant itself, and only when I asked directly did I get a faint yes. We didn't think the quality of the food and the high price were justified. You definitely don't have to try it again.

We reserved a table for 6:00 p.m., which we were seated immediately upon arrival. The service was very friendly and polite. The food was very good and the portions were generous. We had a lovely evening; thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be back.

Truly the most beautiful Turkish cuisine in the Unna district

First of all, the food is really great and the price is completely reasonable too! :-) But I find it a bit strange/sad/bad that on a Sunday 2 out of 3 times the lovely wine was no longer available and also e.g. For example, there is no more apple juice, or even a small bottle of water (and since there is a Rewe and Aldi opposite, you could buy something the day before). Otherwise we can really recommend the shop and we will continue to eat there!

I was eating there with my partner and when the waitress asked us how the food was, we said the fries were hard. This was simply accepted, there was no reaction, the service simply walked away. The absolute blast came when we wanted to pay and we were told that card payment was not possible! Then I said something and it was ignored again and they walked away. Service not competent and rude! Nowadays you can pay by card everywhere, which is completely incomprehensible to me!!! My partner was then forced to go to the savings bank and I waited there, an absolute NO GO!!!!! And apart from that, it has to be written somewhere: Bar only! Food was also underwhelming and not appropriate for the price! And just for your information: I live on the street there and if it had been good, you would have liked to come back. This way you can scare away customers!!! Not recommended!!!

Yes, gladly again. We were on the way home and we found out about the restaurant through our voucher booklet. The food was really good.

The shop is really cozy and looks really nice. You can eat there comfortably in the evening. Service is also quite friendly. Food tastes good too. It's definitely worth eating there.

We were there with a group of 20 people to celebrate a birthday party. Despite the busy house and the special needs of two severely disabled family members, the team did an outstanding job. The service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was served in a timely manner and was of excellent quality. The price-performance ratio was also convincing. A big thank you to the entire team!

We were here because we saw the restaurant in the Schlemmer Block and I wanted to give my husband, who came to Germany from Turkey for 4 months, a little feeling of home. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. We really liked it from the start and were already thinking about planning birthdays in this restaurant. However, we didn't like the food that much. The taste was okay, but I know Adana's taste differently. Köfte and Adana tasted exactly the same and for us personally it was too German. At Adana I expect Sumack onions and tomatoes and no broccoli. The service was okay but somehow it could have been friendlier, everything seemed very rushed and you had to pack your own food. It's not bad, but to be honest I've never experienced it like that before. But the lady couldn't help it because she was apparently responsible for the service all by herself. So overall there is just a bit of room for improvement. But there won't be a second visit for us

The Anadolu in Unna is a real insider tip! The food is simply fantastic - large portions and incredibly tasty. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger and the staff is super friendly and attentive. I always enjoy coming back.

Very nice service that feels like a family business. Food was very good and absolutely sufficient. Luckily there was parking space in front of the door. And even lucked out without a reservation. But it would probably be advisable.

The best Turkish food in the entire area 😋. We had the menu with many starters, bread, delicious dips, vegetables and several types of meat and desserts. Every single dish was very, very tasty🤤. We had more than enough food and the service and the boss were very nice and took good care of us 😍

Small, clear... food was awesome, Price performance is completely ok. The waitress was always alone and the store was very full, so when you paid you had the feeling that you were being processed. After the question: "everything was fine". Otherwise everything was good.

Today I had dinner at the anadolu restaurant. I ordered a mixed grill platter. When the food came I tried the chicken meat and noticed that the meat smelled rotten because I didn't want the other guests to notice that, so I went to the front and told the waitress. Any normal person with any sense of smell would have noticed it immediately. Unfortunately the waitress wasn't professional or correct enough to admit it. I got up and didn't eat any more from the plate. The waitress collected the money as normal. I would never eat there again and wouldn't recommend it to others.

Were there today with the grandchildren. One didn't like the lamacun but he got a tuna pizza straight away. Super nice service. Any time!!!

If possible, zero stars! Ordered and received food. Until then everything was normal. But then the waiter (I think the owner himself) became very unfriendly. We should leave the table in 10 minutes because other guests are coming soon. You've only been eating for 10 minutes and you're supposed to leave? When I asked what that meant, I was told that I hadn't made a reservation. I specifically asked if there was still a table available. Then why were we assigned a table at all? A short time later we finally had to leave because other guests were waiting. My companion was still eating and the whole thing was extremely unpleasant for me. When I wanted to pay, I was told to hurry up and that it would take a long time to pay. After paying I was told that for such a tiny amount I would block an entire table. I almost fell off my chair. We didn't like the food either. I wish I had never gone there.

We had reserved a table but arrived a little early. That's why we were asked to wait outside. After a while we were invited inside. We were assigned a table that had not yet been set again. There was only a tablecloth on the table. No plates, no cutlery and no napkins. The staff saw us sitting there, but we were neither asked if we would like something to drink nor were we given the menu. When we asked for the menu and it was brought to us, we still had no cutlery, plates or napkins. To top it off, we were then asked to take another table because it would be too big for us. OUTRAGEOUS. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DEAL WITH PAYING GUESTS. We can't say anything about the food because we left the restaurant without eating or drinking. THEY WON'T SEE US AGAIN. :-(

By chance we and our family became aware of the Anadolu Restaurant. It was an experience from the first moment, which was offered by the harmonious atmosphere, the great interior design, the subtle background music and the attentive service. Eating there was an experience for the senses and the grilled dishes were a highlight! Afterwards we were served Turkish8 tea and a piece of the homemade dessert for each, which was on the house. The prices are absolutely humane. We'll be back!

I was there recently with friends and wasn't happy with anything at all. I found what was on the plate outrageous. For the money, poor food on the plate, one small piece of meat on the skewer, four small pieces of meat, something I have never experienced anywhere. The bread wasn't fresh but was warmed up so that it was already hard and the second bread came really hard afterwards. The drink we ordered was diluted with water and not very carbonated. I definitely won't go there again and won't recommend it to others. I thought the day was a waste of my money

I hope Turkish cuisine has more interesting things to offer!!! I ordered number 30 (doner kebab meat with various vegetables, with sheep's cheese, gratinated and flatbread) €18.95. It tasted uniformly of tomato, completely boring, without any differentiation (more like a stew in which the spices were forgotten apart from salt and tomato). Very disappointing!

Today we went to Unna with the Kulinaris Card... Sat outside when the weather was nice. The service was very nice and the drinks came quickly. Qualified answers were also given to questions about food. The food also came quickly. We hadn't noticed that the salad was missing until the waitress asked us if we hadn't had a salad... The salad quickly came with the meal. Oh yes, 2 dips and bread came in advance.

War mit meinem Partner zum Essen dort. Wir hatten ein Gutscheinbuch mit Bei dem Brot vorab bekamen wir keinen Dip wie alle anderen Gäste. Das bestellte Lammfilet war zäh und verbrannt. Da ich es nicht gegessen habe, wurde ich gefragt ob man es mir einpacken sollte. Eine glatte Frechheit. Man sollte sich nicht beim Gutscheinbuch anmelden, wenn die Gäste dann mit fehlenden Beilagen und minderwertigem Fleisch abgestraft werden. Hat sich für uns erledigt dieses Lokal.

I ate a “Gülizar plate”🤤 and it really suited my taste! Various vegetables 🍆🫑🥒 with garlic yogurt, fried potatoes and lamb meat! 😍 Super light food, fresh and highly recommended! Unfortunately, Anadolu Restaurant cannot be described in words.❤️🧿You will personally go there and eat food that you cannot eat even in the most luxurious place in Istanbul, and you will be amazed. The taste of the dishes prepared with the love of dear Özcan will never leave our palate. From meatballs to Adana, from rice to soup, all of them are delicious. Everyone who works there is delicious. Thank you for your efforts. I highly recommend it. Do not leave this world without stopping by and eating..🙏

My girlfriend and I had dinner there last night. The service was really great, the music was a bit too loud but that's debatable. The restaurant was also nicely decorated. But the highlight was the food! We were there with the Kulinaris Card, where you can choose two main dishes and you get the cheaper dish for free (although the Kulinaris Card has to be bought first!). The portions were quite manageable and the fries have probably been in the deep fryer several times, which means they were quite hard and old. Conclusion, not particularly great, especially since the grill plate costs almost €23. We then order a portion of baklava and for that we also needed a magnifying glass (price €5.50). I think it's a shame that you can use this card to try out restaurants and then come back again, which unfortunately we don't do anymore become. Which is a real shame, because otherwise we felt very comfortable there and the service was really very nice…

Bardzo przytulna restauracja z oryginalną turecką kuchnią. Byliśmy kilka razy i zawsze wszystko nam smakowało. Obsługa jest bardzo uprzejma i sympatyczna. Na pewno będziemy wracać.

Vorab vielen Dank an die überaus freundliche Dame aus dem Service und ein Lob an den Chef, der uns trotz unserem ersten Besuchs, wie Stammgäste begrüßt hat. Das gibt es nahezu nirgends mehr, toll! Am Ambiente kann man hier und da was machen. Unabhängig davon: Besonders gut hat uns der kalte und warme Vorspeisenteller gefallen! Unsere Hauptgerichte waren auch sehr lecker - jedoch hätten wir uns mehr „türkische Zutaten“ in den Gerichten gewünscht wie Granatapfelsirup, Sumak, Isot, etc. Preislich ist es sehr günstig - da hätten wir auch 2€/Gericht mehr bezahlt ohne zu meckern. Zumal es zum Ende einen Nachtisch und natürlich einen Tee aufs Haus gab. Achtung, keine Kartenzahlung. Wir kommen gerne wieder - bis bald!

Wir hatten das Menue und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen lecker, der Service freundlich und das Ambiente leider nicht ganz so toll. Die Verkabelung der Deckenleuchten sieht etwas kurios aus, da die Kabel nicht ordentlich verlegt sind. Die hängen sichtbar unter der Decke und auch die Lüsterklemmen sind sichtbar. Das ist das einzige was uns aufgefallen ist bzw etwas gestört hat. Ansonsten sauber, lecker und freundlich

Wir haben Anadolu durch das Gutschein Buch besucht. Ein richtiges Geschmacks Erlebnis. Tolle Gerichte und nettes Personal.

Nettes gemütliches Ambiente, wir haben den Grillteller bestellt, das Grillfleisch absolut zart und lecker, (Lamm, Rind und Pute) und die nette Bedienung an der man merkt das sie wircklich Bock auf ihren Job hat, tolles Restaurant...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻...nicht zum letzten mal dort gespeist👏🏻 Ps: Toiletten waren auch sehr sauber !

Ein hervorragendes türkisches Restaurant mit nettem Ambiente und einigen Plätzen im Außenbereich. Die unterschiedlichen Speisen sind von hoher Qualität und das Personal ist sehr flexibel bei Sonderwünschen. Als regelmäßger Besucher des Anadolu habe ich hier noch keinen Ausreißer bemerkt.

Wir waren gestern mit 4 Personen das erste Mal bei Anadolo. Durch das Gutschein/Schlemmerbuch sind darauf aufmerksam geworden. Wir haben vorab eine gemischte kalte & eine warme Vorspeisenplatte gehabt, anschließend jeder ein anderes Menü. Es hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls sehr nett, das ganze in einem netten Ambiente!! Fazit: Wir waren das erste Mal, aber sicherlich NICHT das letzte Mal da!!👍😁

Freundliche Gastgeber, leckeres Essen und tolle Atmosphäre. Vor dem Essen gibt es knackiges Fladenbrot mit zwei verschiedenen, leckeren Dips und einen Vorspeisensalat.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen sehr sehr lecker, die Portionen reichen vollkommen aus. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 8 Personen und die Zubereitungszeit war angemessen. Als Vorspeise gab es einen Salat, zum Abschied einen Schnaps oder türkischen Apfeltee. Bei den Temperaturen war es draußen unter dem Abdach leider sehr warm, das könnte man noch ausbauen. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine Grillplatte. Als Vorspeise Fladenbrot mit Dip. Dann einen Salat. Für den Preis ein durchschnittliches Essen. Ein Schnaps zum Abschluss.

falsche Werbung für Öffnungszeiten - sie behaupten, bis 2300 geöffnet zu haben, aber sie schließen die Küche um 21.30 Uhr (an einem Freitagabend!), da Sie offensichtlich 90 Minuten brauchen, um Ihren Kaffee fertig zu machen. Ich denke, sie brauchen eigentlich niemandes Geld - der Dönerladen in der Stadt macht einen großartigen Pom-Döner und die Preise sind realistischer.
