Amore-Italiana in Mainburg

The order arrived half an hour early. After adjusting to the delay and being set up for dinner, our anticipation of the meal returned. Unfortunately, this was short-lived, because when the first pizza boxes were opened, one could only wonder if they were serious. The pizza in the box had at least 5 cm of empty space all around, then another 3-4 cm of crust that was hard and crumbly... all in all, at best a child's pizza that tasted more of tomato paste than anything else. A phone call quickly brought disappointment. No apology, instead an explanation that pinsa dough had been used instead of pizza dough because it's much better... well, if I want pinsa (which is also on the menu), then I'll order that... Furthermore, they stated that the portion size was absolutely standard and the same everywhere… to which I can only say there are at least three pizzerias in Mainburg alone that clearly disagree ;) The rigatoni al forno had no peas but plenty of thick bacon rinds… Only the salad was acceptable, which somewhat salvaged the rating. All in all, however, this was our first and last attempt at ordering from here, as the response on the phone didn't suggest any interest in customers or a desire to win them back.

We ordered from there almost three weeks ago via Lieferando. We ordered two pizzas, a pinsa, a large mixed salad, and a tiramisu. The delivery arrived on time, and the man was very friendly. He explained that the ham for the Parma ham pizza wasn't available, so they substituted it with another ham. The replacement was delicious and generous, and we also received a discount, so it wasn't a problem for us. Unfortunately, instead of the two pizzas and a pinsa, we received three pinsa. The arugula was also extremely sandy, so it crunched between our teeth with every bite, both the salad and the pinsa with arugula. However, the quality and taste of the other items were very good, so we hope we only had one bad luck with our order.

The best food I've ever eaten. The pizzas and pinsas are incredibly delicious. The pasta is amazing. The ingredients are of the highest quality. You can see and taste it. The delivery person is always friendly and very nice. Always happy to come back.
