Very good tapas. The cooking here is at a very high and authentic level. Nice atmosphere and the service was also very accommodating. A Spanish tapas bar / restaurant in Munich that I can recommend. 🥘

Absolute failure. When making an online reservation, the restaurant advertises that you should simply let us know if you want to stay seated for longer than 2 hours - original sound: “we make it possible”. As a welcome, we were asked to leave promptly at 8 p.m. That's how you like to be greeted. When we asked if it wouldn't work out that we could stay longer, the answers were stupid. After we ordered a last drink at 7:30 p.m. and it still wasn't there at 7:45 p.m., we pointed out to the waiter that we had to leave at 8 p.m. and that wouldn't work if the service didn't work. The owner then came and kicked us out. Something like this has never happened to us before and it is outrageous. You can see how the supposed management treats the customers - see their response to a recession where the customer is called stupid. We will not recommend anyone to eat here.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience here with more than unfriendly staff (management?) who, in my opinion, treated the guests very unprofessionally and sometimes arrogantly. Although the food is good and the restaurant is attractively designed, the personal interaction with guests ruins the experience. Calling guests stupid, as seen here on Maps, unfortunately further emphasizes this. I absolutely cannot recommend a visit.

It's a shame to be thrown out by the owner just because you would like to extend the 2 hour reservation, which is exactly what is advertised via email. It's a shame, but that's not possible. Unfriendly and anything but professional.

A very nice location in the middle of Munich. Very nice and attentive team. We haven't found such a great selection of tapas even in Spain 🥳 Definitely worth a visit and we're sure we'll come back. Reservation via Google was super easy and makes the visit even easier. The U6 is only a 10-minute walk away. In my opinion the area is very safe and quiet, we never felt uncomfortable.

The service is great, the food is good - but the price is already high. The atmosphere is nice, but there are far too many tables. Our place was completely full, it was practically impossible to move and it was incredibly loud, making conversation at the table simply impossible.

Great wine bar, with very good tapas that we shared! Highly recommend this place. We ordered 3 tapas / person an were very happy with the portion sizes!

We were served very friendly and attentively. The dishes all tasted good, the fried calamari could have been fried a little longer, but unfortunately they weren't completely cooked. I find the prices to be much too high in relation to the very small portions (2 mini ham croquettes = €8!). Our bill (2 people) was €60 (6 tapas, 1 beer and tap water flat rate), so to be full we would have had to spend at least double that. Overall, I'm used to better food and different portions from Spain. Don't think we'll go there again (at least not hungry)!

Tapas were a bit small and took a very long time. But the service was very nice and so was the evening.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the quality of the food, which was absolutely overpriced. We ordered the prawns, where you get 4 mini prawns for 10.50 euros. Spent almost 30 euros per person and were still hungry. Wouldn't come back to eat here again.

Wayyyy to small portions for the amount of money you pay. Seems cheaply made and left us hungry in the end. Very disappointed by the food. Service was nice however. Would only consider coming back if the food was either of better quality or bigger portions.

Very nice waiters. Good atmosphere. Noisy like any Spanish tapas bar. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Low quality and very small quantities. As an example, 8 euros for 2 small-sized croquettes and nothing special. As for the rest of the dishes, any resemblance to Spanish tapas is purely coincidental. We returned the padrón peppers because they had a layer of salt that looked more like a glaze. The people at the next table sent back the beef tartare (I don't know what region of Spain they think this is from) because it was too spicy. The rest of the dishes are equally poor in terms of flavor and quantities. I will not come back.

It's definitely worth a visit. Very nice atmosphere, everything tasted really good, but the tapas are rather expensive and the portions are very small. The staff was very nice, I have to eat gluten-free and they were very accommodating to me and it worked out great.

Ich mochte Amistad bisher sehr, aber diesmal war das Essen etwas enttäuschend. Spinat war versalzen und es war Sand drin.. (Bedienung darauf: Oh, soll ich ein Glas Wasser bringen?) Die Artischocken waren säuerlich, als ob der Gärungsprozess schon im Gange wäre. Insgesamt hat man das Gefühl, dass vieles geschmacklich nachlässt. Schade ist es auch, dass man sich in dem Restaurant nicht wirklich willkommen fühlt. An der Tür begegnet man einem immer mit einer gewissen Arroganz.

Went to Amistad again yesterday. This time with a large group. Everything went great with the reservation, service was absolutely great and the food was great as always. Absolute favorite tapas restaurant!

Cool restaurant with very nice service. The dishes were all very tasty. Yes, the portions are small (tapas) and therefore relatively expensive. But we were full and spent about the same amount as in restaurants with "normal" dishes. So that fits. But you get a little more variety. As I said, everything was very tasty. The only thing that disappointed me was the sangria. It's nothing but juice with pulp and fruit. It has nothing to do with what you get in Spain and simply tasted like bland juice. A pity. If you don't order it, the store is otherwise really recommended.

This was our first time at Amistad. One thing first: the quality of the food and the taste were good! Everyone can decide for themselves whether the prices for tapas are reasonable. In my opinion they were exaggerated. What I disliked about the ambience: The tables were placed very close together, so that an intimate conversation is only possible in a whisper. Regarding service: From the restaurateurs' point of view, it may make sense to clear away dishes straight away; With tapas, which are served in many small bowls, it was a horror for us that the waitress came to the table 5 times (!) during the meal to gradually clear away something. I had the impression of a military exercise in which the aim was to 'guide' the guest through their food as quickly as possible. It should also be mentioned that the service was very friendly.

As always, the tapas were delicious and the service was perfect! The red wine tasted excellent. We are really looking forward to the next visit!

I feel they call it tapas to have the excuse to bring small but expensive portions, because if you ever had tapas you know that’s not tapas. If you order “gambas al ajillo” they bring literally 4 tiny gambas, I would honestly be ashamed to bring that out of the kitchen and charge 10€. We spent 40€ per person and left the place still hungry. I was very disappointed with the food, but if you go only for drinks it’s nice, the service is good and has a nice ambiance.

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male dort…, Hatten bisher eigentlich gute Erfahrungen gemacht, heute war das Essen einfach wirklich nicht gut…, trockenes Brot, kalte Gambas und lapprige Pimientos…! Generell sind die Preise mittlerweile ganz schön gesalzen…!

Overall very good, the champiñones and the albondigas (meatballs) are particularly recommended! The chorizo ​​was also very good. Don't let the small plates fool you because you'll get full relatively quickly.

A must if you’re in Munich! I’ve visited Amistad 3 times and it’s been great every time! The tapas are delicious, the ambience is everything you need, and the service attentive and friendly! One definitely gets value for the money spent and I’d always come back for more.

Nice hipster bar, with attentive service, where you can eat solid tapas comfortably and at exorbitant prices and then leave just as hungry. A little tip: it's best to order the really delicious sweet potato croquettes twice so that you have a bit of a basis ;)

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Amistad und leider gar nicht begeistert. Zwar wurde uns ein schöner Tisch zugewiesen und das Ambiente ist auch schön, jedoch wurden wir bereits dort mehrmals aufdringlich auf die begrenzte Zeit von 2 Stunden, trotz Reservierung und Hinweise im Internet, hingewiesen. Zuerst gab es Brot, das ja in der Regel mindestens mit einem Dip kommt. Die Dips gibt es dort aber anscheinend nur nach Bezahlung, so dass das Brot dort trocken, ohne Dip, kam. Nach der Bestellung kamen die ersten Speisen bereits nach wenigen Minuten, wobei wir uns bereits da gefragt haben, wie bei den kleinen Portionen der hohe Preis zustande kommt. Bereits nach ein bisschen mehr als einer Stunde legte uns die Kellnerin eine Rechnung im Vorbeigehen auf den Tisch, ohne etwas zu sagen, während wir noch am Essen waren. Wir haben weder nach einer Rechnung gefragt, noch waren die 2 Stunden auch nur ansatzweise vorbei. Wirkte für uns ein bisschen wie ein „So, genug gegessen, jetzt könnt ihr zahlen und gehen!“. Nach 10 Minuten kam die Kellnerin zu uns mit dem Satz: „Euch würde ich jetzt auch gerne eben abkassieren.“ Entspannt sitzen war dann also auch nicht mehr und wir sind somit nach 65 Minuten Gesamtaufenthalt gegangen und haben uns in ein anderes Restaurant gesetzt. Wir können das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Ich fands rundum schön. Meine Freundin hat mich spontan dorthin mitgenommen. Bei gutem Wein romantisch Tapas teilen. Komme sehr gerne wieder. Danke für den schönen Abend ;-)

Wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier mit 15 Personen im Amistad. Alles was super organisiert, das Essen sehr lecker und der Service auch super!

Actually, I am not so into tapas. Not that I don't like them, but I prefer regular course of dinner. But friends of mine urged me to go there. And what shall I say? I am healed of my dislike of tapas. Each one is delicious and you for sure want to try as many of them as possible. Even our waiter, wearing a beautiful Star Wars-Pollunder, was outstanding. Love it!!

Tapas were great! I recommend getting the Pimientos de Padron and the Patatas Bravas, and the sangria of course. Will definitely be going here again

Wir hatten wirklich einen sehr schönen Abend mit sehr gutem Essen in einer tollen Umgebung und freundlichen Menschen.

Super Tapas Bar! Wir haben dort den Geburtstag eines guten Freunds gefeiert und wurden verwöhnt mit spanischem Rotwein und tollen Tapas. Speziell die Artischocke kann ich empfehlen. Auch unsre Kellnerin war einfach ein Herzblatt und super freundlich!

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Die Tapas und die Sangria waren sehr lecker. Für gute Stimmung wurde zudem durch Adrian gesorgt :) Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war super. Der Oktopus ist unfassbar lecker auch wenn der Preis dafür sehr hoch ist und auch höher als in der Karte steht... die sollte dann wohl mal aktualisiert werden. Service ist ganz gut, wenn auch manchmal ein wenig zu eifrig. Ambiente ist am Fenster super. Im Innenraum vielleicht ein wenig zu eng aneinander. Für zwei Personen sollte man etwa 5-6 Tapas zum satt werden bestellen. Aber alles in allem eine Empfehlung :-)

Sehr leckere kleine Speisen, Bier vom Fass und leckeren Wein. Top Lage in Schwabing/Maxvorstadt. Súper Service und man kann draußen wie drinnen sehr gut sitzen.
