American Pizza Time in Duisburg

Ordered: fries, ribs and burgers.. Fries were ok and only lukewarm Burger was tasty and right for the price Ribs were a disaster. The ribs had no spice or sauce and were neither soft nor nice to look at. Meat was greenish in color, tough and the smell was overwhelming. Delivery? You don't have to talk about it at all Time: 23min Waited even though it said that the delivery service was there: 1¾ hours. Really Never Again

We often order there because they have a lot of vegan alternatives. Unfortunately, I often had to find out at other pizzerias or chip shops that offered vegan options that they weren't vegan at all. That is NOT the case here. I'm very happy about that, the herb butter is also vegan :) And delicious. Generally the food is delicious and always arrived hot and on time. The driver was always nice. The pizza also tastes good the next day either cold or warmed up.

We waited 2 hours from ordering to delivery. For an hour the message was displayed on Lieferando that the driver was on his way. The distance is usually 12 minutes. The pizza rolls with cheese were soggy and almost raw on the inside. The Tonno pizza tasted like a wobbly frozen pizza. We were also delivered the wrong sauce. After 90 minutes we called and wanted to cancel. This was probably not possible because the driver was almost with us. Half an hour later both dishes arrived. Unfortunately, both were inedible.

We ordered on Lieferando, and because we specified cash payment, the employees assumed the order was fake. Apparently we were called, but these calls never reached us. No food was even prepared. On Lieferando it was stated that the driver had been on his way to us for 1 1/2 hours. All in all very bad and not recommended. Due to the overall situation, unfortunately it is not possible to give a rating for the food that was NOT prepared.

I ordered here via Lieferando, the order never arrived. Lieferando says we should call the restaurant - we did that five times, unfortunately every time it just rings and no one picks up. I've now contacted Lieferando, but it's still just not possible to pocket the money and then not even be reachable.

So here's the thing... the fries were by far one of the tastiest fries I've ever ordered for delivery, but the pizza... it was mangy. The dough felt and tasted like ready-made dough, the pizza was lukewarm, as if I got my frozen pizza out a little too early and in general the pizza was probably just a frozen pizza and the fact that with a pizza like that you feel " “American PIZZA Time” is embarrassing, which leads to this rating. 2 stars are only given out of pure pity and because of the fries. If I only had to rate the pizza, I would give zero stars. And while you're at it, it's also sad that you just used a normal oven and not a sensible stone oven

Absolute disaster! I ordered pizza, salad, pasta and vegan schnitzel. The delivery arrived about 40 minutes late. Instead of salad, fries were included (reason: "Salad was all out", even though the order was placed before the store opened). The fries looked like they had been thrown in the deep fryer from the day before and again. Some fries almost caused salt shock, while others were completely unsalted. The pizza was missing ingredients that had been ordered at an additional cost. The noodles were overcooked and bland. If I had cooked my own pasta and slapped on some ready-made pesto from the supermarket, it would have been better. The schnitzel was also disappointing. Small, bland and with bad fries as a side dish. The schnitzel alone was an absolute outrageous price given the quality at €10.50. The restaurant could not be reached by phone, only the answering machine answered. Advise everyone not to order here!!

Such rubbish. Absolute impudence. When I ordered a capricciosa salad with cocktail dressing, I received a totally dry tuna salad with no dressing and no egg. Entire salad thrown in the trash can! And that for €6.5, a joke!

Sooo, My brother and cousin recommended me this spot only because they are regular customers. Even tho they clearly explained to me that they keep changing the prices every now and then and that the quality is not as good. To my surprise, when we ordered 4 pizzas. He didn’t even bother to tell us that the toppings are sold out and made us pay for the pizzas and only asked us , can I add mushrooms? Let’s not talk about the quantity of ingredients when it comes to cheese, shrimps etc… I do not recommend it to anyone. Also, they are not clean. ( this itself is enough for me to not come another time) very disappointed.

TL;DR: 0 customer service, 0 solution-oriented, additional costs are charged but not fulfilled, requests are not addressed. Ordered there for the second time today and was completely disappointed for the second time. With the first order, I was called about 5 minutes after placing the order via Lieferando to inform me that the vegan cheese for their vegan pizza was sold out... A partial refund would not have been possible here and we had to cancel the entire order . Today, I didn't get a call, instead the delivery person said to me at the door "We were out of arugula. Enjoy your meal". When I checked the order, there was no rocket on the pizza - but the full price was charged. On the other pizza, the request to leave out the onions was completely ignored. When I called the restaurant they just said "I can't do anything, call again in an hour and the boss will be there." - Called again an hour later "I can't do anything, boss isn't there. I can't do anything, boss is calling you" - Now the restaurant is ours, I haven't received any compensation or a reasonable excuse. Was the last time I ordered here.

First time that I didn't finish a pizza and threw it in the trash even though I was still hungry. I would like to wish the owners success, but it was really the worst pizza in my life. I haven't left any other reviews yet.

Delivery 40 minutes late. On a Friday morning at 1:30am. 3km distance. Food almost cold.

Class! We're pretty much regulars there. Every time I am amazed at how delicious it tastes. The nice chef caters to all our wishes. Keep it up 👍🏾

I mostly order here, I've eaten there a lot, but what I find bad is the fact that the quality of the pizza is constantly changing, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's really bad, and also the prices. I used to take two large pizzas and add stuff to it and it didn't even cost 20 euros, but now it changes every week, every time I go I notice the prices change.

Maximum cheeky. The pizza we ordered is simply an Aldi frozen pizza with some cheese put on it. It was even frozen in the middle. 9€ for that is bad even for Duisburg...

Why are there no more vegan pizzas and pizza rolls? :(

Unfortunately I can't say anything positive about the store. It starts with the fact that when we came in we saw the employee making private phone calls for another 3 minutes before he served us. I ordered 2 pan pizzas to take away. While I was waiting for the pizza, I sat at a table that was completely filthy. This is what the other tables looked like too. The store wasn't full, we were the only customers. Why don't you clear away the used plates or wipe the tables? If you don't pay attention to hygiene here, why should you pay attention to it in the kitchen? When the pizzas were ready we saw that they were normal pizzas and not pan pizzas. Because of this fiasco, I didn't feel like eating the pizza anymore. When you advertise American Pizza and Pan Pizza, I expect something like that. They should call the place Indian Pizza Time

Extra requests were fully taken into account and delivery was there within 40 minutes. A little more expensive but worth every cent! Everything was great♥️

The food is really great! But if we want to order on Sunday, like just now, the opening time suddenly changes from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Last time you couldn't order on Sundays, even though lieferando only said 3 p.m. Today, Monday, lieferando said it was closed again at 5 p.m. We are regular customers but this back and forth doesn't work at all

Immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind Stammkunden, auch nur, weil immer alles okay ist. Die Lieferung ist immer schnell. Wenn es mal länger dauern sollte, wird einem direkt Bescheid gegeben. Direkter Kontakt immer möglich. Preis- Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Von Burger bis Pizza,-lecker!

Burger Menue 11,50€ mit Pommes und Getränk beworben. Bekommen habe ich einen kleinen halb verbrannten Burger. Pommes minimal. Getränk hat gefehlt. Das Menue war meiner Meinung nach keine 7€ wert. Einmal und nie wieder

eigentlich hinterlass ich nie rezensionen aber gestern spät noch pizza baguette bestellt. so frisch heiss und lecker gewesen. einfach krass. 🤍liebe geht raus! ihr macht den job richtig und mühe ist da aufjedenfall drin nicht wie die andern pizzaservices. update: ok schade, weil das so lecker geschmeckt hat wollte ich den nächsten tag hier auch bestellen aber diesmal ein wrap.. ein großer fehler. sorry. der wrap hatte so stark einen widerlichen rindergeschmack wahrscheinlich weil man den wrap auf ein grill warm gemacht hat wo sonst fleisch hinkommt. wünschte man hätte es vielleicht vorher sauber gemacht? aus hygienischen gründen zb. extrem unappetlich gewesen. musste mich zusammenreißen es nicht auszukotzen. man kann wohl doch nicht jeden tag glück haben. :) sehr lieblos gemacht. war ekelhaft sorry. dachte könnte mein standbestellort werden aber ein nächstes mal wird es wahrscheinlich nicht mehr geben.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und herzlich!! Wir empfehlen es weiter (besonders nach dem Feiern cool, da es bis spät in die Nacht noch etwas zu essen gibt)!! :-)

Top Personal die Duisburg Pizza ist eine 11 / 10 hatten sogar zu wenig Geld für die Pizza trotzdem 2 Dosen noch auf Nacken bekommen wir kommen gerne wieder 🤝

Das Essen ist was Preis Leistung angeht ziemlich unschlagbar in Duisburg.

Sehr schöner Laden Nettes Personal und gutes Essen ist auf jedenfall zu empfehlen.

The pan pizza is quite good. The delivery isn’t always great… but usually received it in an hour. I like that the shop is open quite late and people have the option of getting food late. Contra: I understand the life of the guy delivering but still they shouldn’t be so annoyed at the customer if they are maybe a minute late to attend the door. People are not waiting one hour to immediately leave everything and jump to the door. Sometimes I feel some Personnel are not polite and gives sn attitude.

I love this place, it's a little piece of home for me. I'm originally from NYC and I really miss having my favorites like chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and even pizza with barbecue sauce on it. This place does that and the portions are great. The staff is really nice and there have been days where this place really cheered me up because I could taste a piece of home. Thanks for being amazing!

Super leckere Pan Pizza mit sehr fluffigen Boden. Die Lieferung war zeitgerecht und das Essen noch super warm.

Das war ein super essen. Bestelle 2 mal am Tag hier essen. Vorort auch sehr lecker und warte zeit sehr kurz.

Das Personal war freundlich. Das Essen kam schnell und sowohl die Pizza als auch die Bolognese Nudeln haben gut und auch frisch geschmeckt. Die späten Öffnungszeiten machen es sehr ansprechend für den nächtlichen Hunger. Gerne wieder.

Kann man nur weiter empfehlen vor Ort gute Bedienung ;)
