A must-visit when I'm visiting Rathenow. Great burgers, ribs, and fries in every style 👌🏼

A very nice restaurant. We stopped by spontaneously after the cinema. There were still plenty of seats available. The food and drinks were excellent. We'd love to come back.

It was our first time there. The service was extremely friendly, I have to say. In the summer, there are practically all kinds of seating options, from beach chairs to couches to regular tables. I opted for the rockabilly sandwich and a portion of steakhouse fries. Both were very good and, above all, very well presented. Really lovely.

Worst experience ever!!!! If it were possible, I would give it 0 stars! We wanted to have a nice movie night and eat something beforehand. For this reason, we reserved a table on the terrace for 6:30 p.m. When we arrived at the restaurant, we stood around for a while because no server seemed to be in charge. At that point, there were three tables left on the terrace: a table for 6, a table for 4 square tables, and a very small round table in the blazing sun. We asked the waiter, who, in my opinion, doesn't deserve that job title, and to make matters worse, he told us we should take the smallest round table in the blazing sun, the square table, as it was at least partially shaded, and the small table really wouldn't be suitable for three people to eat at. He explained that wouldn't work because all the tables were reserved. Another server explained that we could sit inside. Our drinks were served lukewarm and without ice cubes. Afterwards, we had to wait another 40 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived, the waitress noticed that there wasn't enough space. But the free tables had already been taken. Meanwhile, a couple from inside was seated at the table for 6, where they could sit comfortably with plenty of room, while we were crammed together with our food (side dishes and three main courses), not even having enough room to eat normally. My plate hung dangerously over the edge, so I had to constantly be careful not to tip it over while I was cutting. All in all, it was such a terrible experience that I will advise all our friends and acquaintances not to eat there. The proximity to the cinema doesn't justify such arrogant and poor service. Our conclusion: NEVER AGAIN!

If you like American diners, this is the place for you. Classic ambiance and delicious food. We had a pulled pork plate and a 750g monster portion of spare ribs. They also served with very crispy sweet potato fries. Everything was very good. The barbecue sauce on both dishes was perhaps a bit too much, but that's always a matter of taste. The prices are okay. However, I still have to complain about the price of the Hefeweizen beer. Anything €5 and up per bottle is no longer acceptable to me. Which was unfortunately the case here. But overall, a good package. So, we'd love to stop by here; we certainly enjoyed it.

I ordered by phone and received a call back when my Holstein schnitzel was ready for pickup! It was a large portion, but I unfortunately couldn't finish it! I have to say, I've rarely eaten such a delicious schnitzel! Simply amazing! Thank you so much!

The atmosphere is good as always. The staff were very friendly. But the flavor of the burgers has deteriorated considerably. Some of the salad was old, and I didn't get the feeling it was 100% beef. The fries weren't cooked through. A shame!

It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is good, the service friendly and attentive. The food selection is also varied and can be a bit overwhelming. My only criticism is that they didn't have a New York cheesecake (lol :p). I'll definitely go back and try other things.

We are often guests at Monsters, whether as a couple or as a small group. The ambience is reminiscent of a stereo typical diner. The store is always busy, so a reservation is safest. The burgers and other dishes we have had so far have always been very tasty. The service is on point. We are all human, we have bad days sometimes. All in all, we enjoy being here.

Today we stopped here. The schnitzels were very tasty and not frozen goods. We'll be back.

We were back in the restaurant after a long time. And we liked it again. Friendly service, good food at a reasonable price. What more could you want? They even have mac 'n cheese! Real American style! Highly recommended!

The ambience is really good, but the service and food are not worth it for this price! Rude, moody, greeted, cleared the table while others were still eating at our table. There were eleven of us there and we all agreed: Never again! Burger burnt, salad sour and when we pointed this out we almost had to say thank you for getting something new.

Highly recommended for foodies! We were here for the first time today, the food was very tasty and there was a lot to choose from. We tried the winter cocktails, a taste experience at its finest! It tastes really good and you don't taste any alcohol, which makes a really good cocktail (there's definitely enough alcohol in it!) Thanks to the boss and colleagues!!! We'd love to come back!

Good cuisine if you don't come at peak times

Stay away from the cocktails. Unfortunately it's nothing more than a multivitamin juice. Food is OK and sufficient.

A good restaurant with a large selection of burgers, but also other dishes such as pasta, sandwiches and spare ribs - there is something for everyone here. It should definitely be mentioned that all burgers are also offered as a vegetarian version. There is also a small but completely sufficient selection for children. There is also a children's high chair - the cover of which could be cleaned again. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive across the board. The food came quickly - one burger was very convincing, the second one lacked a bit of oomph in our opinion, but that's probably a matter of taste. The kids menu, fries and onion rings were solid. All in all, a successful meal.

In terms of appearance, the musical background is also great. However, the food wasn't really my thing. We especially didn't like the chicken nuggets. Allergies cannot be addressed here either. Maybe something for lovers or regular customers.

The "restaurant" of a different kind. The furnishings are in the American style of the 50s/60s. The employees are really very nice and hard-working. Please allow enough time, it takes a while for the food to arrive. That's how it has to be , because it should taste good and not be raw. We can highly recommend American Monster. Keep going and stay as you are.

We were there for Easter brunch, with advance reservation. Service was top as always, but we expected more than that. Big rush okay but at times the kitchen couldn't keep up, it's a shame.

Reserved for 12-14 people at 6 p.m. on a Saturday, when it is always supposed to be full. The drink order went quickly, but that was it. When we asked at 6:45 p.m. we were able to place an order. When I asked at 7:40 p.m. when the food could arrive, I was told it was in the works. The neighboring table that came after us had already finished eating. When asked why it took so long, the answer was "if they were in a hurry they should have said it beforehand". It's full, you see. The order time of 6:45 p.m. was dismissed by the waitress as untrue because her order receipt would show it was 7:25 p.m. My wife stupidly looked at the clock. Food came at 7:55 p.m. The If I offer so many places, there should be enough staff available. If this is not possible, I reduce the number of tables or inform guests that there will be a longer waiting time. I have never experienced this in any restaurant before, ignoring guests and demanding that they declare that they are in a hurry if they want their food in less than an hour. The handling was simply bad. Some of the food was cold and underwhelming for my taste. But it's just a matter of taste. My wife and I will definitely avoid the store.

Everything is fine, only walk-in customers have no opportunity to get something to eat, so dear people, make a reservation or leave hungry again!

Cooles Ambiente, freundlicher Service, der auch immer wieder nachgefragt hat. Es sollte eine "Warnung" " hinter den MONSTER Burger stehen 🙈😂😂😂Es war viel zu viel.

Das Restaurant hat einen 50er Flair und jede Menge Kultstars an den Wänden. Wie der Name sagt gibt es hier Monster Portionen von normal über xl, xxl und Monster. Unter anderem gibt es den Big Kahuna Burger aus Pulp Fiction. Aber Achtung 500 g Beef. Ich hab fast 1h gebraucht den zu essen und ich war gefühlt 1Woche satt. Das Personal ist freundlich und alles ist schön eingerichtet und angerichtet. Auch Getränke und Cocktails werden angeboten die ich bisher nicht kannte. Ich war bereits 3mal da und komme definitiv wieder.

Das Team vom American Monster unterstützt unseren örtlichen Karnevalsverein mit Speis, Trank und super Service! Vielen Dank, dass es euch gibt! Wir erhielten bereits mehrmals Unterstützung zum Beispiel wenn wir bei der Nachmittagsveranstaltung ein Mittagessen für die Kinder brauchten, oder nachdem wir am 11.11. den Schlüssel der Stadt erhielten. Abends kümmert sich die Crew dann um die Versorgung der Prunksitzung. Klasse Truppe!

Wir waren leider enttäuscht gewesen, anstatt, 45m bis 1 h.... Haben wir glatt 2h15 min auf unser Essen gewartet.... Und dann waren die Steak house Frites nie in der Fritteuse gewesen, haben leider nach Wasser geschmeckt, sowie war auch Wasser in der Schale gewesen... Noch mal anrufen um dann wieder 2 h auf neue zu warten, niemals..... Sonst waren die Burger perfekt gewesen..... Da kann man nix beanstanden...

Immer freundliches Personal auch wenn es sehr voll ist. Das Essen ist der Hammer ( Burger 🍔) mehr mein Ding.👍👍👍

Jadłem New York Cheeseburger w wersji Monster, plus frytki stekowe. Porcja naprawdę potrafi zapchać jak i smakowac. Jeżeli będę jeszcze kiedyś w pobliżu, to napewno tu zajrzę 😀

Schön umgesetztes Diner für die Ecke. Geschmacklich hat das Essen unsere Erwartung übertroffen. Toll, dass die leckeren Buns selbstgemacht sind und nicht aus der Tüte. Der Service war wirklich klasse! Allein dafür wären die 5 Sterne schon angemessen.
