We have enjoyed visiting this restaurant for many years. The price-performance ratio is sensational and the staff is extremely friendly. There was a recent change of ownership, but nothing has changed for us.

For the first time in Germany I found Halwa Pori somewhere. It was tasty and this is the second time we visited the place. We also had there breakfast and evening buffet and it was average. Overall the ambience and the taste was good specially of Halwa pori.

The food is very good, the service is friendly and fast, the location is very cozy, you feel like you're in your living room, always a pleasure.

We went with Schlemmerblock. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

I have often ordered Indian food online from this restaurant and have always received delicious and warm food. The delivery was also on time. Today I visited the restaurant in person with my family and we were really satisfied with the food. The meals were delicious, appropriately priced and quickly served. The street food choices were amazing and has an authentic taste. The owner and the staff are very friendly and the restaurant has a wonderful ambience. I will definitely visit this restaurant again. Wish I could go lower than 1 stat. Worst food experience ever. I ordered samosa, gol gappe, dal makhani and began bharta. Can you believe that none of it taste even decent? Like, even decent. They gave me boiled dal, the gol gappe with sugar syrup. They didn't even bother to put some salt. I wasted so much money on this.

Unfortunately I got food poisoning after eating the buffet food with my husband. We definitely won't go there anymore.

We had a misunderstanding when ordering. But the way it was handled is something you don't see very often these days. There are very few restaurants that handle a complaint so positively and courteously towards their guests. This restaurant deserves 5* because of this top service alone!

For a cheap lunch we can recommend the Amar Palace. We were very satisfied with the taste (chicken in different spicy sauces) and the service was friendly and attentive enough. We'd love to come back.

I ate there twice. Compared to some other Indians it falls behind in terms of food and ambience. But it is good. Some other Indians give free bread, which tastes even better. And the three typical accompanying dishes are already available free of charge on the tables of other Indians. Not here. The food itself is very good. The staff is friendly, everything is clean.

We were happy when we read that there was a buffet on site again and went straight there in the evening. The selection at the buffet is good - but not huge. The food itself was very tasty and tasty. There were vegetarian options as well as a selection of chicken and lamb. Spring rolls, samosas and other fried delicacies were also available. A small salad buffet rounded off the offer. However, we were a little disappointed with the dessert. There was only one option. This could still be improved. Our special requests, such as hot sauce, were immediately fulfilled. Service was courteous and helpful. Also good value for money for the drinks. I hope that the buffet offering will perhaps be expanded a bit - we'll be happy to come back.

We've ordered more than 6 times from here now and it's amazing. The veg Thali is pretty reasonable and feels like home cooked food. Not oily, not very spicy. It's our favourite. Mango lassi was better than from anywhere else. We've definitely become regulars. Even the lamb from the meat Thali was super tender.

We ate with Schlemmerblock. Starter: Lentil soup unfortunately had too few lentils, fried vegetables were lukewarm. Main course: although spiciness was requested, the food was rather mild. But: the naan bread and the mango schnapps at the end were delicious 😋

Unfortunately a service disaster. After we sat down, it took almost 20 minutes for anyone to come to the table and take the order. Some of the guests had already gotten up and left. After another 10 minutes the waiter came back to take the order again because the order slip had apparently been lost. Throughout the restaurant it was clear that many guests were sitting at the table without drinks and the service was completely uncoordinated and overwhelmed. The wine I selected from the menu was no longer available. We did get a starter plate on the house, which was a nice gesture, but unfortunately it couldn't save the evening. The staff tried to be friendly, but clearly not skilled and overwhelmed on several occasions. Furthermore, there doesn't seem to be any organization or coordination in the restaurant. The food wasn't bad, but 3 different curries (lamb/poultry/pork) all had the same sauce and all tasted the same. The atmosphere in the restaurant is bland and simple. Overall, the restaurant urgently needs coaching for processes, organization and service, as well as a sprucing up.

We were there because of the Schlemmerblock and will probably go there in the future without it. It was a worthwhile discovery. The service was very friendly. There was an evening buffet for 19 euros, but we ate a la carte due to the gourmet block. Both the starters and the main courses were served quickly and were very tasty. I ordered the chicken tikka masala spicy, the spiciness corresponded to my expectations, very spicy without burning, and the delicious mango lassi went well with it. The prices are good too. Mango lassi and beer 3.50 each. Chicken tikka masala for 15.50 euros and the portion was big enough.

Waren zu dritt heute Abend essen, es war alles sehr lecker und authentisch indisch. Lediglich bei einem von uns wurde anstatt vegetarisch , ein Gericht mit Hühnchen serviert, er hat es aber trotzdem gegessen, war lecker. Mit der Verständigung hapert es noch ein wenig. Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür. Wir sind normalerweise beim Inder in Weinheim, aber es hat uns hier auch geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

First we didn't get a card after 15 minutes (even after asking), until we eventually got it ourselves. Afterwards, no waiter came over to order, so we had to ask again. After we were finally able to order food and drinks, nothing happened again until after another 15 minutes the waiter informed the neighboring table that he had forgotten the entire order. It then became too much for us, so we left the restaurant after a total of 40 minutes (without a single drink). Rarely have I experienced such poor service...

Quiet place, you can also talk to several people at a normal volume. I always find it very important. Food was good, everyone commented positively. Prices are fair, absolutely right. What wasn't good were the drinks. For one thing, it took an awfully long time. If only everyone had drunk one more during that time. But what was even worse was that all drinks, be it beer, wine or soft drinks, were warm!!! With tea that was on the house it wasn't so bad 🤪

This was our second time eating there after we discovered the restaurant through the gourmet block. So far we've enjoyed everything we've tried. We love the butter naan bread ❤️ Service was a bit slow on both visits. During our last visit there was a lot going on in the restaurant, which made the service staff seem overwhelmed - mom had to sort it out first 😉 Nevertheless, we would like to come back because the price-performance ratio is just right.

Schön und sehr lecker wie immer

sehr gutes Bufett, nicht sehr groß, aber sehr gut und es wird immer sehr schnell aufgefüllt wen es leerer wird. Getränke, anders als bei vielen Asiaten, preislich sehr moderat. Leider mittlerweile nur noch Mittelmaß, das Bufett wird sehr zögerlich aufgefüllt und viele Behälter sind längere Zeit leer, Abrechnung ohne Rechnung, nur ein fester (ohne Einzelaufstellung) Betrag.....schade.

Ich komme seit Jahren regelmäßig zum Buffet. Für kleines Geld kann man hier sehr lecker essen. Bisher war ich bei jedem Besuch rundum zufrieden!

Wirklich empfehlenswert :) Meine Freundin und ich sind durch den Schlemmerblock auf das Lokal aufmerksam geworden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Cay war richtig gut. Das Fleisch war schön zart und lecker gewürzt. Es gab eine gute Portion Reis und Naanbrot dazu. Es war nicht viel los, aber wurde viel ausgeliefert. Das Ambiente ist dort richtig gemütlich und der Service sehr gut.

Ideal für das leckere Mittags Buffet

Das Essen war ganz gut, leider ließ der Service zu wünschen übrig. Wir mussten nach der Vorspeise unser Besteck behalten, beim bestellen des zweiten Glas Wein wollte man das alte Glas wieder verwenden, sorry aber das geht gar nicht.

Leider hat alles in diesem Restaurant stark nachgelassen. Der Lieferservice ist eine absolute Katastrophe, sehr oft werden speisen falsch geliefert oder komplett vergessen. Die gleichen Gerichte schmecken jedesmal anders. Lieferzeiten werden auch nicht eingehalten. Der Fahrer ist sehr unfreundlich und motivationslos. Wir werden dort in Zukunft nicht mehr bestellen und auch nicht mehr dieses Restaurant besuchen.

Essen sehr gut, allerdings wollte ich das Mittagsbüffet; es hieß dass dieses unter der Woche nicht verfügbar sei. Auf den Aushängen steht allerdings etwas anderes!

Der beste Inder, den ich die letzten 2 Jahre im RN- Kreis besucht habe. 4 Sterne fürs Ambiente, weil ich die Tische als ein wenig klein empfunden habe. Wir hatten einen 4-er Tisch zu viert. Duper nette Bedienung, persönliche Note und seeehr gutes,Essen.

Nachdem wir das Essen bekommen haben, ist niemand mehr gekommen. Haben 15 min auf den Reis gewartet, haben ihn dann selbst geholt. Essen war so naja, das Butterchicken hat einfach nur wie Tomatensoße geschmeckt. Früher war es besser.

Haben das Essen zum Mitnehmen gehabt und waren absolut nicht enttäuscht. Große Portionen, mehr als fairer Preis und sehr lecker.

Waren nach längerer Zeit wieder einmal zum Essen da und mussten feststellen, dass die Qualität nachgelassen hat. Vielleicht hatte die Mannschaft auch nur einen schlechten Tag. Die Spinnweben in den Wandverkleidungen sollte man aber entfernen.

Ein schönes kleines indisches Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist Klasse und das Essen ist der Wahnsinn. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Immer wieder gerne.

lecker und würzig aber nicht scharf wenn man das angibt, kann auch mit Joghurt abgemildert werden, leider nur kleine wenige Fleischstücke welche man zählen konnte, in viel Soße, Reis wurde nachgereicht, schade das bekamen wir schon anders

Das Essen war gut, allerdings war das Buffet nicht schön angerichtet. Zum Nachtisch gab es leider nur geschnittenes, etwas vertrocknetes, Obst und frittierte Bananen. Das Lokal ist nett. Die Bedienung aufmerksam.

Angenehm überrascht. Wir haben den Geburtstag meiner Tante gefeiert und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Geschmacklich gibt es nichts zu bemängeln, wenngleich ich es persönlich gerne eine deutlich schärfer mag. Habe mich für ein Menü(2 Personen) entschieden weil ich nicht immer die üblichen Verdächtigen (Butter/Tandoori Chicken) bestellen wollte. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich aber das Butter Chicken bestellen(hab ein wenig von anderen Tellern naschen dürfen), das war geschmacklich "runder". Insgesamt sehr gut und auch die anderen Gäste waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war auch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, die Preise vollkommen im Rahnen. Was will man mehr! Den einen Stern ziehe ich nicht ab, sondern ich weiß(diverse andere indische Restaurants besucht) da geht noch was.

Alles super seit mehr als 4 Jahren. Ich bin kein Stammgast, aber komme sporadisch vorbei und bin nie enttäuscht worden. Hier wird sich um den Gast bemüht und ich freue mich immer sehr über das leckere Essen.

Ich war das erste Mal hier Essen gewesen. Ich muß sagen es war sehr sehr lecker. A la Carte zu Essen lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, weil die Portionen sehr groß sind (siehe Fotos) (bieten auch ein kleines Buffet an). Ich kann es auf jeden Fall empfehlen hier Essen zu kommen. Und es gab auch viele Leute die zum abholen kamen, was auch gutes Anzeichen ist.

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und wir wurden zügig bedient. Die Einrichtung entspricht dem Standard indischer Restaurants in Deutschland und ist in Ordnung. Mit dem Essen waren wir alle durchaus zufrieden, allerdings fehlte mir persönlich ein bisschen das gewisse Etwas. Dennoch geht der Geschmack vollkommen in Ordnung, evtl. könnten die Portionen Reis ein wenig größer sein. Störend fanden wir jedoch, dass der montiere Lautsprecher im hinteren Teil des Restaurants offensichtlich einen Defekt hatte. Die im Hintergrund angespielte Musik klang dadurch sehr schief und krazend, was auf Dauer tatsächlich nervt. Es wäre schön, wenn dieses Problem behoben werden könnte.
