Beautiful little town! With a great outdoor pool and a beautiful castle, complete with gardens. Well worth a visit!

After a few months I think this box is over... GV is cringe

I made a reservation via the website, never received a response. I inquired via email and Facebook, and still no response! P.S. I originally inquired via Facebook whether a reservation for the outdoor area was possible. After 20 minutes, I received a positive response and a "friend invitation"...

Finally a nice, relaxed beer garden in Grevenbroich again! Lots of greenery and a historical atmosphere all around!

It starts with construction toilets, which you can overlook. What's absolutely unacceptable is the service; it's simply amateurish. Food is delivered without cutlery, tables are still covered in bird droppings, and you wait in vain for drinks. All guests were served after the meal, which any poor housewife could do better. Just when you think things can't get any worse, the Kölsch, which you actually managed to get, is brought to you in a wheat beer glass. See for yourself!

We were there last Sunday - a big disappointment! Beer garden as such is nice, but Dixie toilets, washing hands with a water hose, moderately warm food and a lot more. It would have been better to postpone the opening!

The beer 🍺 garden is nice but the rest is not for me. Gilden Kölsch bar cart, Frühkölsch glasses and Peterskölsch in the bar. I don't want to experience a Dixieland toilet for the guests and the waiter if it gets really busy.

Is temporarily open Thursday to Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until all work is completed. Then every day in the future. Great friendly innkeepers, beautiful beer garden.

I'm now referring to the outside area... the old castle itself (restaurant) is currently being renovated. Beautiful park-like area where you can also observe some animals.

Das Alte Schloss im niederrheinischen Grevenbroich war eine Landesburg der Grafen von Kessel und des Herzogtums Jülich, die im 16. Jahrhundert zu einem Schloss aus- und umgebaut wurde. Heute sind von der einst großen Anlage nur noch der Wohnbau, ein Wirtschaftsgebäude, ein Torhaus und Reste der Wassergräben erhalten. Sie befinden sich am linken Ufer der Erft rund 200 Meter südlich des historischen Teils von Grevenbroich und stehen unter Denkmalschutz. Quelle: Wikipedia

Große Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen, sehr freundliche Bedienung, Barrierefrei

Biergarten mäßig voll heute. Haben Essen bestellt und ... nichts kam ... auch nach erneuter Nachfrage hin passierte nix. - Gezahlt. Fertig. Nicht zu empfehlen.
