We were there with a large group of 20 people. The food was absolutely delicious (Saumagen, mixed grill, schnitzel, etc.). The service was very friendly, and the children received complimentary ice cream. The premises are rustic and cozy, with a real brewery atmosphere. They had five different house-brewed beers on tap.

It's a shame. I was looking forward to the old brewery food from back in the day, but today I was extremely disappointed. The table was sticky, the fried potatoes were overcooked, the schnitzel, in my opinion, was more like minute steaks or pre-made frozen?! ​​And the portions weren't justified for the price. The salad dressing was far too mustardy and sour. The sauce for the Gouda schnitzel tasted 'thrown together' and didn't go at all with the breading soaked in rendered drippings. Both the Altbier and the Hefeweizen were flat and stale. The croquettes were probably the highlight.

We were there last Saturday. It's a lovely old brewery with delicious food. Kudos to the waiter, who always makes the guests smile and always has a funny joke on his lips. We'll be back.

The beer was delicious, as expected. The grilled meat I ordered didn't meet my expectations at all. Three very small and very well-cooked pieces of meat, along with a small salad and a baked potato, for €22.90. Well, if that's the solution for the restaurant industry... Raise prices and, in return, reduce portion sizes... I certainly don't like that approach.

The food isn't worth the price. The fried potatoes are overcooked, and what's sold as "kibbelinge" are fish nuggets in batter that were apparently frozen beforehand and still cool inside after frying. The grilled meat was good, the meat cooked to perfection, but certainly not all of it homemade.

I ate here two days in a row because the food and service were so excellent. The second day, the food was even better. I travel in Germany for work and can say from experience that it's become difficult to find such a good restaurant. Thanks for the great food and service!

The service is very friendly. The ambiance is cozy and somewhat rustic, perfectly fitting the "brewery" theme. The house beer is very good. The food, however, wasn't particularly impressive, just okay.

Good menu, good food, would go back.

The ambience is beautiful, the service is good, but the taste was perhaps not good on the day of the game. The Leberkäse was super good, the Nuremberg sausage was good, the sauerkraut was not good and unfortunately the fish was not edible either as I did not like the sauce at all, and neither did my companion.

A variety of beers from the in-house brewery. Delicious food and prompt service. A cozy atmosphere inside and outside.

It's best to stay away from this. A baked potato with herb quark and salad costs 13.90, while the rump steak with baked potato, herb quark, and salad costs 25.90. This means the rump steak costs €11. The Camembert with cranberry cream, salad, and baguette costs 14.90. The baked potato is therefore absolutely equivalent to the Camembert. I wanted to exchange it. Answer: But only for an additional charge. So I decided to forgo the baked potato (just the baked potato!) in exchange for a price reduction. I was served a rump steak with salad WITHOUT HERB QUARK. Of the three components (potato, quark, salad, €13.90), two were omitted, resulting in a price reduction of €3. So I paid €22.90 for a dry, tough, stringy rump steak. Underground is still too nice.

Unfortunately, the schnitzel was a ready-made product, or rather, it looked like one. The taste was rather average. The beer, unfortunately, wasn't great either. Overall, a nice atmosphere.

The restaurant is rustically decorated, and we sat in a booth with a larger group. The ambiance is fine, fitting the charm of the building. The service was excellent! The menu offers good German cuisine. I enjoyed my meal, but it was a bit lacking in terms of "very good." I find the prices slightly high, but still reasonable. All in all, I can recommend the restaurant and will certainly eat here again if the opportunity arises.

The Alte Brauhaus in Fallersleben is simply beautiful and very cozy with a lovely beer garden, which is unique in Wolfsburg.

I thought long and hard about even writing a review. But I'm truly extremely disappointed. People drive there specifically to exchange my empty 2.5-liter bottle for a filled one. It's not a big deal, but guess what? Unfortunately, they don't have any taps available. And when I asked if they could fill it for me, I was told they couldn't and that I should call next time. There won't be a next time from me. I haven't experienced such inflexibility and incompetence in a long time. I'm just annoyed that I didn't leave the deposit bottle there right away and decided to never see the deposit again.

We were here this afternoon with a large group of 20 people. First of all, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table outside. Luckily, we were seated in the shade, but there are also tables in the blazing sun, which I imagine would be less pleasant. There was plenty of space inside, and even outside, despite it being the weekend. The chairs are very comfortable, but the tables are too small for people over 1.80m tall, and there's hardly any space under the tables. The restrooms were clean and tidy with nice tiles. The general ambiance outside is very pleasant. There's a pond with a fountain nearby, so it offers a very nice view of the natural surroundings. The drinks, and especially the beer, were good and cool even in the warm weather. As for the food, everything we ordered looked and tasted delicious, and the prices were reasonable, although we did wait more than 40 minutes for our food. One could justify this by saying that there were a lot of people, but later, after everyone had already received their orders, another person joined us, and they also waited more than half an hour for their order. The staff were super friendly and cheerful, and even invited the person waiting for a drink and apologized. Overall, the visit was very good despite the wait, and I would recommend this place for a summer visit.

So, I was there and ate kibbelinge with potato salad. The potato salad was classic and good, but the kibbelinge were a disgrace. I have Dutch roots, and they were a disaster. I had some a few days earlier at the Schützenfest, and they were freshly prepared, authentic, and super delicious. A total contrast, and for the price, a disgrace in a brewery.

Very nice restaurant, food smells far and wide from the fountain, I have been visiting accommodation near this brewery for half a year. Today I decided to go for one, although unusual 1 liter beer called the year 1765, the beer is refreshing, copper shade, foam like cappuccino, taste balanced, maybe I should have had 0.5 liter beer, 1 liter glass is quite heavy, I am sitting at a beautiful retro table, all the smells are pleasant, I can hear the fountain, the comfort of the vicinity is a playground with sand, snowdrops, the terrace is open but the roof can be closed, I sit and watch as my beer slowly decreases from the glass, thank you that something like this is near me and I will come maybe every Sunday and try every beer on the menu

We had asparagus for lunch. We were very satisfied.

In terms of taste, there's nothing to criticize about the food. However, we get the impression that cost-effectiveness is the top priority. For example, a brewery plate (€19.90) with a small slice of roast pork and liver, each only about 8 mm thick, seems stingy and insulting to me. It comes with two Nuremberg sausages. Fried potatoes and cabbage are supposed to fill you up. Friendly criticism, or so we get the impression, is met with indifference. Comparing and summarizing, we come to the conclusion: I'd happily have a beer at the Altes Brauhaus. But nothing more. Far too expensive! It has nothing to do with brewery culture and bourgeois values!

The food is far too expensive for the quantity and quality. Four of us went there twice, and neither of us was impressed by the food. Especially given the prices, we really expected more. I have to say, it was the worst schnitzel I've ever had in a restaurant...on my second visit, I had the Camembert, and it was breaded far too thickly, and the coating was completely soggy—almost inedible. The only good thing is the lovely ambiance by the pond.

Yesterday I was here at the brewery with my husband, it was my first time there and I was blown away... for dinner we had schnitzel Viennese style with asparagus and potatoes and hollandaise sauce. The food gets 5 stars it was so delicious the asparagus was very crunchy very tasty just like the hollandaise sauce was very very tasty.. the service was very friendly and very nice... we will definitely come back😊😊😊

Jasmin, the waitress, was the absolute bright spot of the evening: super friendly and competent! Absolutely 5 stars for her!!! Because of the stupid comments from a male employee, we can unfortunately only give 1 star for service. It's a shame, the gentleman is damaging the reputation of the restaurant. The beer was good! Custom jug size, perfect! Unfortunately we were there on a "classic Sunday", as an employee had literally told us. This means that the menu is regularly reduced to a small menu on Sunday evenings without warning customers. In addition, a schnitzel with a colorful salad and fries then, due to incorrect planning when shopping, turns into a schnitzel with coleslaw and croquettes/mashed potatoes/baked potatoes/fried potatoes. It's a shame about this very nice brewery, which has definitely lost customers today due to mismanagement.

We went to the brewery for funeral coffee today. Coffee and cake were offered first and soup was served while we drank coffee. It was around 1:30 p.m. It would have been better to serve the soup first and then coffee and cake. There was wedding soup for 9 euros per person. The soup was so bad that no one took a second plate. From the color it looked like it was seasoned too heavily with Maggi. I didn't see any dumplings, maybe there was one per terrine. The asparagus was really hard. The waitresses were very friendly but honest, we have never eaten such bad wedding soup and for 9 euros. This is the very first review I'm writing because I was totally disappointed and felt sorry for the relatives of the deceased who have to pay for it.

Delicious food. Here it is of course classic, rustic and quite dark but still clean and the service is friendly. This is especially something for beer fans!

Were here for the Christmas party with work colleagues. I've known the Brauhaus for many years, but this time the food was disappointing, both in quality and quantity. We went to the Christmas market straight after dinner and ate 1/2 meter of bratwurst for dessert. It's a shame but it has diminished a lot😕. I won't recommend it and my colleagues don't want to go here again either.

Spent our early evening there, the rooms were cold when we arrived. The cooking still doesn't work, Braumeister schnitzel was black from the bottom, braised onions were ice cold and the whole thing tasted extremely like fish. My table neighbors both had these pumpkin potato rosti with fish variations. So the preparation in the kitchen must have taken place together in a deep fryer. Unfortunately, the staff reacts angrily to these statements. It has happened again and again. Then maybe just something to drink for me next time.

You had to wait over 40 minutes for cold food and 15 minutes for drinks. The chairs need to be replaced and the toilets need to be renovated. Once and never again

I have been visiting Germany for years for work. This place has a really traditional feel without being kitsch or forced. I tried only one dish on the menu, among those recommended: they were Rosti with pumpkin and herring.... Really interesting and unusual for me. Excellent beer... What am I saying? I recommend it... I will definitely be back!

The beer they brew themselves is pretty good (coming from someone who doesn't really drink). The food was alright, too oily for my taste. Staff was nice, they messed up our order, but were happy to fix it.

We like being here. With family, friends or simply for a beer. We also celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here. The playground next to it is perfect for the kids. The food is okay, light beer is bombastically good. Matze is great. Thank you. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Went there for dinner with 8 people on July 8, 2024. Food looked very straightforward at first, but that was definitely deceptive. It was more than filling and very well prepared. The presentation is also very successful; after all, the eye eats with it. Our waiter was quick, friendly and always had a cool saying. We were lucky with the weather and sat outside, but I also found the ambience inside very appealing.

The terrace is huge, lots of places under umbrellas. Nice and professional staff who always do their job in a good mood despite the stress. The beer is home-brewed, has a large selection and is extremely tasty. The food has deteriorated a bit, fried potatoes are not crispy, sour meat consists of rock-hard pieces of meat. Also a bit too expensive overall.

The two of us were with a friend on Friday afternoon and had booked a table in advance. Came just for the beer) the menu is quite tight, very traditional, very few snacks to go with the beer, chose a grill plate with three meats, and then fries, the food is hard 3. If you're looking for a cozy evening in good company, the brewery can score points with its ambience. And if culinary experiences are not necessary, some people will definitely like the in-house beer specialties. The food, on the other hand, is a disappointment overall. Meatloaf and pork neck in diluted ready-made sauce to perfection. Or Emder matjes, housewife-style, with no taste needs to be prepared first. Sitting comfortably: yes. Drink a “different” beer once: why not. Food: no.

The service was friendly and we liked the ambience of the restaurant. However, the prices are really too high compared to the amount of food. We waited about an hour for the food and the lemon on the main course (schnitzel with chanterelles) was already moldy. In summary, we were pretty disappointed.

We were with you last night with our family and it was a really great evening, also because of the good waiter who always had good sayings 😂.The quality of the beer, etc. was very tasty 😋.The food was also really tasty especially the homemade sauerkraut salad. We had dinner at the Altes Brauhaus for my 22nd birthday and were thrilled. We were a group of 13 people and the food was delicious. There was something for everyone, so everyone was full. Particularly noteworthy is the home-brewed beer, which really tasted excellent. The waiter or host of the house was extremely nice and sociable. With his relaxed sayings he created a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a very successful evening in a great restaurant. We'd love to come back!

Oh well! We were very guided by the reviews. The reality is different. The atmosphere reminded us of a barn. Not bad per se. Unfortunately it was very loud. More like a train station. The food ... Portions rather poor... A man wouldn't have been satisfied with my portion. Grill plate...guess a total of 130g of meat. The chicken, unfortunately on both dishes we ordered, wasn't quite cooked through. Brauhaus plate... sauerkraut, dominates. 2 small sausages, 1 meat loaf, 1 slice of roast pork. The highlight was the sauce. All in all, rather disappointing.

However, it is extremely unpleasant for the guest and something like that is not part of the service. The table service was a bit slow. We had to wait for some time until the food was taken in and then another very long time until the food was served. To eat: When we looked at the menu, our mouths were already watering. Nice and hearty and sounds very tasty. The grill plate sounds like something for really hungry men... It was delicious too. But hungry men won't be fed here. The portions are manageable. Unfortunately, myself and a few others weren't full after eating. Even my petite wife, who doesn't eat much, only felt full after eating her son's leftovers. At this high price, something like that shouldn't happen. This should be optimized again. Otherwise the brewery is a very nice location.

We ate here on weekdays with a registered group of around 20 people. The two service staff were obviously overwhelmed and unfriendly when taking the order and distributing the food and drinks. 2 of 3 rump steaks were raw in the middle and when we asked to put them on the grill again there was a discussion. The quality of the food was consistently disappointing: meat tough, asparagus woody...

Second time here, both for company organised evenings. Very loud, enthusiastic band playing traditional German music throughout the night. Food is ok, not quite what I'm used to but got to try new things. Drinks? Flow easy and well into the night!
