We ate there 3-4 times, the last time with my parents, and I have to say the food was okay. The service was friendly, which can't be said for the manager. Rather grumpy and unfriendly, that's how it came across to all of us. You don't really feel welcome. I've also heard from others that they didn't feel comfortable because the manager treated them quite condescendingly. We'd rather go somewhere else where we feel comfortable; after all, there are other restaurants. It's a shame about the reviews, but unfortunately, it is what it is. 🙄

The boss is a very unfriendly person. He makes huge distinctions between guests; he greets some and ignores others, and you're treated very unfriendly. As if you were a nuisance. If he doesn't want to make money and only his "regular customers" are welcome, he's welcome to do so, but then he also says that's how it is. The food is sometimes so-so, sometimes so-so; the owner doesn't want to hear anything negative about it. He gets annoyed when you reorder drinks because it keeps him from chatting with his known customers. It wasn't the first time he's behaved like that. There are good Greek restaurants nearby that welcome everyone. Grumpy suits him.

A long-established restaurant. The food is okay to good. But the Greek chef? Well... In the restaurant, he tries to be friendly towards the (regular) guests. But I've also seen him treat his employees. Truly arrogant. In my opinion, that's completely unacceptable. And unfortunately, I also had to witness him 'live' how he treated the (among them Polish) workers at the Bürstadt mushroom factory when he wanted to pick up fresh mushrooms. The manager, who had offered him this additional service, wasn't there at the time. And he acted as if he'd been shouting and 'really' angry for hours. That was absolutely condescending and truly "degrading." Somehow, I'm not surprised that the so-called Greek civilization didn't survive antiquity... ;-)

Great, thank you very much, the food was really very good. We had the liver with fried potatoes and salad. The only thing I would have liked was that the fried potatoes could have been a bit crispier.

We've been to the Alte Post several times, and it was always delicious! We had grilled pepperoni and a grilled plate with garlic sauce. Everything is highly recommended. We'll be back soon! 👌👍

Food like in Greece, I can only recommend it, super nice people

We spontaneously went there for dinner on my birthday and were lucky to get a table. Reservations are often required to avoid disappointment. The service and food were once again very good. Thank you!

We've been to the old post office many times. This time we weren't so convinced. Apparently the team just came back from vacation and the senior manager wasn't on site. There were problems in some corners. Some dishes and drinks on the menu were not available. Two side dishes were brought incorrectly. What really surprised us was the vegetarian starter for €13. 1 grilled tomato, 2 mushrooms stuffed with sheep's cheese (not particularly large) and 5 pepperoni. There wasn't even tzatziki. You have to order this for an extra €7. The food itself was tasty and the quality was good. The service was friendly. But overall we were disappointed this time.

Our team had dinner and a lovely evening. The service was good, very friendly and flexible. Most were very happy with the food. I was missing a little Aivar or something similar with the Bifteki. Unfortunately there was only the bifteki and fries on the plate. The taste was okay, I just know it a little differently from the Greek. The ambience was as you would imagine at a Greek restaurant, perhaps a bit old. But as it is with food and other things, everyone has different tastes and a different perspective on things. Therefore, it is always worth making your own impression. So, have a nice evening in the “Alte Post”

Very tasty, well-seasoned food! Both the homemade tzatziki and the bifteki taste very good, only the gyro is a bit coarsely cut and has a lot of herbs, but that is a question of taste. Otherwise the service and ambience are very pleasant.

Mega lecker 😋 , Fischplatte wie im Urlaub. Essen allgemein super, vor allem der Salat. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll, hier hat einfach alles von Anfang bis zum Ende gepasst. Der Chef war Mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen eine einzige Geschmacksexplosionen. I don't even know where to start, everything here was just right from start to finish. The boss was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is an explosion of flavors. Thank you for the great food in a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Kind regards from Lower Franconia.

I can definitely recommend the lamb shank. It's just a shame that there was no salad here and had to be ordered separately. The salad wasn't very flavorful. My friend had fish with vegetables, unfortunately the vegetables were not seasoned at all and personally inedible to me even after I sprinkled salt on them. All in all it was quite okay. It wasn't really good and it wasn't really bad either. To mention it again, the lamb shank with green beans was the only dish that was really tasty and well seasoned So you can take a look.

Wir sind hier spontan eingekehrt (kurz vorher mal telefonisch angefragt), wurden sehr nett empfangen und bedient. Das Essen war sehr gut, genauso wie der griechische Mokka zum Abschluss. Das war nicht unser erster Besuch und sicher nicht unser letzter Besuch. Kommen gerne wieder.

Super tolles Restaurant mit nettem und schnellem Service und sehr leckerem Essen. Ich gehe gerne dort essen. Das Ambiente ist ganz schick, allerdings ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.

Sehr kleines Restaurant mit Biergarten, ich bin begeistert vom Lammhaxen mit Okragemüse, die Pommes sind hervorragend lecker und knusprig, wir waren alles sehr zufrieden, das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

Familiär geführtes Lokal, das sehr gut besucht ist. Platzreservierung ratsam. Die Auswahl an griechischen Gerichten ist groß. Die gegrillten Fleischgerichte sind schmackhaft mit Gewürzen zubereitet. Der Beilagensalat ist knackig frisch und ebenso gut gewürzt. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich. Rundum ein empfehlenswertes Lokal.

Ich kenne euch seit meiner Kindheit und bin mit euch groß geworden. Wenn es heißt Grieche, dann immer zu euch! Geiles Essen, egal was ich bis jetzt hatte, ich hab mir immer danach die Finger geleckt. Eure freundliche und zuvorkommende Art Gäste zu bedienen ist alle Sterne wert.

Wir wurden freundlich Empfangen, der Inhaber ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen kam schnell, war heiß, frisch und sehr lecker. Auch während des Essen kam der Besitzer an den Tisch erkundigt sich ob wir zufrieden sind. Alles in allem ein guter Gastgeber. Einzig die Platzverhältnisse waren etwas eng, aber eine Ergänzung auf hohem Niveau. Gerne wieder.

5 Sterne super leckeres Essen sehr freundlicher Service Ambiente typisch griechisch unspektakulär aber sehr sauber. Solange es nicht ungemütlich ist, ist mir das aber auch relativ egal Hauptsache sauber. Jederzeit wieder.

Wie immer beim Griechen wenn ich h das erste mal im Restaurant bin bestelle ich einen Mix Grillteller . Selten habe ich sooo trockenes Fleisch gegessen . Der sogenannte Gyros war ein Stück mageres Fleisch mit dem Messer in kleine Würfel geschnitten. Vier fünf zwiebelringe und ein kleiner Klecks knoblauchsoße das war es. In dieser Preisklasse sehr enttäuschend.

Wir hatten nach längerer Zeit wieder in der Alten Post bestellt. Leider war die Abholung ein Chaos. Wir wurde eher unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass der Name, den wir bei der Bestellung angegeben hatten „egal“ sei. Wir müssten schon wissen was wir bestellt hatten! Der Ton macht die Musik! Und der Ton war unangemessen! Ich habe mich sehr unwohl gefühlt. Das Essen an Suchbegriffs in Ordnung. Kein wirkliches High Light, aber ok. Ich persönlich werde für die nächste Zeit nicht mehr in die Alte Post gehen. Überforderung ist keine Entschuldigung für unfreundliches Verhalten dem Kunden gegenüber.

Mal wieder gut. Wir wollten eigentlich zum Rosmarin welches wir im Fernsehen gesehen haben. Dank der doch sehr schlechten Kritik bei Tripadvisor sind wir wieder zur Post. Wir waren schon oft da und bereuen es nie. Das Tsatsiki und die gegrillten Peperoni sind immer gut. Also die Bewertungen helfen schon. Klar ist alles Geschmacksache aber probiert es mal aus

Wir waren eigentlich zur Durchreise. Da jedoch fast alle Restaurants irgendwie montags/dienstags geschlossen haben, sind wir hier gelandet. Nettes kleines Restaurant. Aufmerksamer Kellner, der zügig das Essen bringt. Gyros sehr lecker, gute Sauce für anständiges Geld. Auf jeden Fall für eine normale Mittags Mahlzeit zu beachten.

Das Essen ist gut, und es wird nett bedient. Was mir nicht gefällt, das man nicht mit Karte bezahlen kann!
