Alte Moorhütte in Neustadt am Rübenberge

Hier fühlt man sich gleich wohl. Nette Bedienung und eine der schönes Ambiente.

Wunderschöne Ecke im Wald mit Hausmannskost und netter Bedienung, direkt am Rundweg nach Mardorf.

Uhriger Biergarten, leckeres Essen. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Baum mitten im Lokal ist Klasse.

Essen war reichlich und lecker... auch das Personal war super nett.

Urgemütliches Restaurant mitten im Grünen. Im Außenbereich kann man super sitzen. Die Öffnungstage sind von Freitag bis Sonntag ab 12 Uhr. Auch hier fehlt es leider an Personal. Das vorhandene Personal ist nett und freundlich. Die Küche ist sehr gut und somit zu empfehlen. Das Lokal liegt direkt am Fahrradweg Steinhuder Meer. Bei der nächsten Rundfahrt schauen wir gerne wieder vorbei.

Ein wirklich schönes und gemütliches Ausflugsziel. Wir machen immer wieder gerne eine Radtour hierher. Unsere Kinder lieben es hier ein Eis oder eine andere Kleinigkeit zu essen. Der Kuchen ist super, das Personal wirklich freundlich und kinderlieb.

Eine richtig schöne Einkehr mit Biergartenflair sehr schön gelegen. Der Innenbereich ist nicht ganz so groß, deshalb gern reservieren und durchwachsende Baum mit Theke ist cool. Sollte man wirklich mal auf dem Schirm haben diese Location. Wir selbst waren leider nur zufällig auf der Durchreise... schade...

Sehr netter Service, gutbürgerliche Küche. Wir waren am Abend zu siebent und allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Wer Sülze mag...die Topfsülze ist ein Highlight!!! Ein Stern Abzug...die Polster in der Hütte sollten dringend überholt werden.

Wir haben heute unseren Hochzeitstag dort verbracht und neben dem schönen Wetter war alles perfekt. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und das Essen war super lecker. Es war soviel das wir den Rest uns einpacken lassen mussten.

Tolles Uriges Ambiente sehr gemütliches Restaurant nicht allzu groß daher unbedingt rechtzeitig einen Tisch Vorbestellen. Bei gutem Wetter steht eine Terrasse zur Verfügung. Freundliches Personal waren mit 4 Personen dort allen hat es gut geschmeckt kommen gerne wieder bei Gelegenheit.

Haben zu fairen Preisen dort gegessen. Große Portionen, gute Qualität. Die Servicekräfte sind bemüht, alle freundlich und gerecht zu bedienen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Einfach zu teuer für was man geboten bekommt. Essen kleine Portionen und Schnitzel nicht geklopft und das für 17,50 € geht garnicht

Waren spontan zum Essen in der alten Moorhütte. Tischwahl stand uns frei und wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Ambiente in dem Lokal ist gemütlich, wenn aber auch etwas kühl zu der Jahreszeit. Der Service war freundlich, Karten und Getränke wurden zügig bereitgestellt. Das Essen hingegen war nicht zur vollsten Zufriedenheit. Die Currywurst war an sich lecker, aber etwas zu dunkel. Das Rahmschnitzel hat alt und nach fertigessen geschmeckt. Besonders das Schnitzel war labrig, die Kroketten dunkel und die Rahmsoße alles andere als frisch. Die Moorpfanne hingegen war rundum gelungen, die Bratkartoffeln sind hierbei hervorzuheben. Alles in allem war der Besuch zwar in Ordnung, durch die genannten Probleme bei unserem Essen werden wir allerdings keinen weiteren Besuch in nächster Zeit planen.

Wir hätten Glück und es wurde ein Tisch frei als wir kamen. Super Außenterrasse - der Service nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war lecker die Preise völlig okay. Kommen gerne wieder.

Eine absolute Empfehlung! Beste Qualität vom Essen und geschmacklich hervorragend! Auch der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, flott und freundlich. Nachdem wir am gestern leider keinen Platz mehr bekommen haben, sind wir heute Mittag direkt früh da gewesen und bekamen ohne Reservierung einen Platz. Dennoch empfehle ich, einen Tisch zu reservieren. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 😊

Klein aber fein und wirklich wunderschön. In der Mitte des Moorhäuschens wächst ein wirklich alter Baum . Super freundliche Inhaber und leckeres Essen zu einem mehr als fairen Preis.

Sehr schöne Holzhütte von innen, wir sind während eines Schauers eingekehrt und haben sehr lecker gegessen. Draußen sitzen kann man auch. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir hatten witziger Weise beide vegetarische Essen Bandnudeln mit Pfifferlingen und die Wirsingroulade. Achja und Blueberry Cheescake gab es.

We took a break during a bike ride at the old Moorhütte. It was too chilly outside, but it was cozy inside. The food was excellent; I've never had such good fried potatoes, and the rest of the food was also very tasty. The service was prompt and very friendly, even though the Moorhütte was packed. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Moorhütte.

The old Moorhütte is highly recommended. The value for money is very good, the food is delicious, and the plates are perfectly filled. The old Moorhütte also has a certain charm. The service is very friendly and accommodating. We'd be happy to come back.

A quaint place with simple but good food. Where else would you find a tree in the middle of a restaurant?

We were able to reserve a table at short notice and sat right by the tree IN the restaurant. It was a bit sporty, but the food also made it a great evening.

A truly fantastic restaurant. Everything was just right. The food was delicious, the service impeccable and always ready to joke. Our dogs were warmly welcomed, and we'd never experienced a restaurant with a real tree like this before. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Located in the middle of the forest, this is a great place to take a break even on a hot day. We only ordered ice cream and coffee, but the other guests' food looked very good.

Highly recommended: During our bike tour around Lake Steinhude, we stopped at the "Alte Moorhütte" for lunch. Although the outdoor terrace was full, we were still able to find a nice table for four. The waitress was very friendly and competent. We were able to choose from an extensive menu. The dishes were freshly prepared and delicious. The service team deserves special praise, as despite the increasing number of visitors, we received our order promptly. We had a very pleasant stay and would love to come back!

Very nice place to take a break on the bike tour

It was wonderful to eat in this beautiful spot in perfect weather. We'd love to come back. A special architectural highlight: an old oak tree that has grown through the roof of the Moorhütte. A look inside is therefore worthwhile even in summer 😀

I can truly recommend this place. I wasn't expecting such fantastic food for the price. The friendly and attentive service serves good, home-style cooking in very generous portions. This certainly doesn't compromise on quality. Our dishes were freshly prepared, from potatoes to roulades. No convenience foods. We reserved a table (it's really busy here on Sundays). The Moorhütte and beer garden are located right on the bike path. The decor is quaint and rustic, just like a hut. The garden has lovely, comfortable garden chairs. 👍 The service is prompt, experienced, and friendly. ☀️ The menu is home-style, fresh, and delicious. (Wait time: about 20 minutes) My parents ate here 50 years ago. For us, it was a nostalgic trip 👏. Thank you 🙏 that such destinations can continue to exist for generations.

A very rustic restaurant nestled in the woods. A large tree stands in the middle of the restaurant, adding to the unique atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and prompt. It's a shame it was raining that day, so we couldn't explore further outside.

Today, the employee wasn't hospitable. We arrived a little early, but she made no effort to ask us what we wanted five minutes before opening time. I'm not used to that. I used to manage a café. Never had that experience with me, no go! She didn't give us a word and just pulled a face. Otherwise, a great place; I'd train the employee again.

May 30, 2025 Busy. Reservations required. Ordered: fried herring with fried potatoes and salad. It was good, but not enough to fill you up. Three herring fillets just aren't enough.

Wonderful hut in a secluded setting. The staff was quick and super funny, served us in a friendly manner and responded to requests that were within the feasible range. Any time again and very relaxing after a short hike and the food is delicious and beautifully prepared.

We always love being here again. The food is very tasty and nicely presented. The staff are family-friendly with a pleasant pinch of reserve. It's quick, from ordering to enjoyment. We like to sit outside, which of course is not possible in winter. Unfortunately it's a bit too dark inside for us.

We went to the Alte Moorhütte for the first time on March 23, 2025 and we really liked it. The food was excellent, the prices were normal and the service was nice and friendly. We'll be back. That is certain.

Nicely located restaurant with a nice outdoor area. Unfortunately, the cake didn't work at all and the price was completely excessive. We were also served by an employee who was obviously ill. We understand that staff absences are difficult, but perhaps another solution can be found in such cases - both in the interests of the health of employees and guests.

Food and service were great. Luckily we were there relatively early on a Sunday, otherwise you would have to wait for a free table. Gladly again 🙃

The food is really highly recommended. Super tasty and the portions are impressive. Everyone is super friendly and also has a relaxed atmosphere.

Finally back to our very cozy old moor hut on the north bank of the Steinhuder Meer, we are very happy and the food is, as usual, very delicious, the staff friendly as always. Homely since my childhood, just nice and so cozy.

Hello!! Went to lunch today - you should actually be arrested for assault! The food was so plentiful and delicious - we HAD to eat it all and almost burst! The chicken soup was tasty -- lots of stuffing -- and warm baguettes! Homemade brawn, fried potatoes and a super delicious salad!! My husband had the fish pan -- just as great! It's a shame we're only on vacation!! We would definitely let ourselves be pampered like this often!! This was the best restaurant in a long time!!🥰 Also worth mentioning is the nice waiter and the lady behind the counter! Big compliments again to the hard-working kitchen team!!
