It was my first time there, and I'm unsure whether I should come back. The doner kebab was indeed the best I've ever had in Oldenburg, no doubt about it. However, the service was incredibly unfriendly. There was no prior mention of this – only after it was finished, when I asked in surprise why I hadn't been asked about sauce, etc., was I told that I should have specified all of that before ordering. Now I understand the unfriendly "With?!" at the beginning of my order, which confused me.

Very nice new premises, the boss is a nice, humorous guy.

Alhay is the nicest boss I've ever met. He's always so easy to find. The food is delicious.

The new shop is beautiful, and a lot of hard work has clearly gone into it. I highly recommend this snack bar! The food is always fresh and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous, the prices are very fair, and the staff is incredibly friendly. You feel welcome every time.

Dry, cold, and in some places burnt meat, mealy potatoes. First they tell you to sit down, then they don't ask what you want on it or what you might not like. Two minutes later, I wanted to eat the doner at home: simply disgusting, the sauce just slapped on top. Outrageous. Don't waste your money here! Bad service, the atmosphere isn't clean, and the food is terrible.

What a beautiful new shop, with lots of attention to detail. The kebab garden, the children's kebab corner, the shark-shaped bottle openers... Food really does bring people together, and this is Hani Alhay's mission. Pictures from Jerusalem and pictures from his homeland on the walls, stucco on the ceiling, a cozy fireplace, a comfortable seating area, a truly beautifully decorated restaurant with plenty of space and good food. What do I recommend? A short biography of Hani Alhay hangs on the wall near the cash register, and it's really worth reading. He tells his story and describes how he sees life—in a connecting and inviting way. Here's someone who puts his creative ideas into practice in a very down-to-earth way. Yesterday, I visited the master's new residence with two friends and, as always, I was thrilled... Hani is a culinary artist. What's more, the new restaurant is now wheelchair accessible via the fantastic kebab garden. If you don't feel comfortable at the kebab master's, it's your own fault...

My girlfriend and I drove to Oldenburg today (2.5 hours!) to finally try the potato doner kebab. We specifically checked to see if it was open. It says online from 4 p.m., and it said it was open, but there was no mention of a move or that it's currently closed! That was very disappointing for us, as we had planned the trip. Perhaps they should put this on their website, so we could have saved ourselves the trip, including the unnecessary wasted fuel. What a shame...

Nice manager and staff. A shop with lots of ideas to continually provide customers with a new interpretation of the doner kebab. Sometimes really good, but sometimes there's room for improvement. The potato doner is good, as are many other variations. On my last visit, I had the "English Doner." This doner consists of doner meat (veal?), fries, and beans in tomato sauce, with some cheese. The idea appealed to me, but unfortunately, the concept ultimately became a kind of "uniform" dish. It just tasted like a mass of food and was very filling. I had this creation as a plate dish. I would definitely visit the shop again, but I would choose a different dish.

Today I took the asparagus kebab, I swear really well ☆☆☆☆☆ that my new favorite kebab is also the portion size is decent, you will definitely be full.

What can I say, unfortunately not so great😕Had the potato dürüm and an XL kebab. First about the sauce: We had cocktail sauce and unfortunately it was way too sweet and the kebab was just swimming in sauce so it wasn't great. There was almost no sauce in the dürüm. The normal meat in the kebab is very dry, just like the potato/doner combo. Salad was actually good but why is there corn in it, not our taste and as I said way too much sauce in the kebab. I don't want to say that anything is bad or anything, but it just didn't suit us

Unfortunately we are a bit disappointed at the moment. The pita is still good. But the rest... kale kebab wasn't really tasty, then last time something was wrong. If something is spicy, for example the Arabic Rollo, you should write that down on the card. Otherwise yours will be prepared food ends up wasted. Sauces etc. have also been forgotten lately. We would like to see more attention paid to orders and, for example, to the sauces in the dishes and also extra.

First time eating there. The kebab potato pita was exactly to my taste. Meat fresh and tender, potato pieces not too soft and nice and spicy, salad fresh and crunchy. Two different sauces included. My son had a kebab plate. Also this fresh large portion of meat and fries and salad. Delicious 😋

Delicious kebab in Oldenburg, and the good hani. He is still in great shape and his funny humor puts a smile on his face. the food is simply very tasty. My favorite is still the potato doner. And the atmosphere is really nice and cozy 5/5 stars. Melöner definitely has to drink it, it's really tasty even in bad weather.

The restaurant discriminates against minorities. See picture, should be self-explanatory. To explain who doesn't make it: “Ching Chang Chong” is often used in Germany as an insult against people of Asian descent. It would be like insulting a Turk, Arab or Kurd as "Kana...", or Sinti and Roma as "Zige...". That simply does not work. Really the best kebab I've ever eaten, especially the potato kebab is awesome! However, my friend and I were unfortunately disappointed each time with our last 3 orders. In two orders there was no meat on the kebabs at all, but probably seitan or falafel, even though it was specifically said that there should be meat on them (of course it was still tasty, but it's still really frustrating if you order extra with meat). For the other order, my friend ordered a few things especially for me, but they were still there :( It's really disappointing, especially because I'm really impressed with the shop and love the kebab :(💔 Otherwise: The boss is really super personable and the baklava are heavenly (especially with children's bars in it, unusually awesome) 💖

The kebab is very tasty, especially the flatbread. Never had such good flatbread as here. And the baklava with children's bar filling is also a delight.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. You are not asked what to put on it, there is some kind of powder on it and the meat tastes like nothing. How the kebab could have been the best kebab in Oldenburg three times is a mystery to me, it just sounds like a big deal I would do this place.

The owner is a cool and nice guy, but the kebab wasn't good at all. I ordered a vegan potato kebab, on the way home the thing was already soggy and torn, it had something like a barbecue sauce in it that has nothing to do with kebab. There were also pieces of meat (?) in my kebab, even though I ordered it vegan. There was no mention of soy or seitan products on the menu. The salad and the spices on the bread were good though.

Immer wenn ich in Oldenburg bin, esse ich hier einen Döner. Für mich klassisch ohne Schnick-Schnack, gibt aber auch viele andere, ausgefallene Varianten. Mit Liebe angerichtet und wirklich super lecker - vor allem das Brot ist im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen richtig gut!

I have lived in Oldenburg for 10 years. I've been a regular here for a year because this shop offers the best kebab in Oldenburg. The bread is homemade and beats any bread by far, the sauces are also homemade, and the meat is juicier than others. I don't really care about the ambience but the sayings and decorations in here are fun. The special kebabs are also worth trying. Potato doner, kale doner, Brussels sprouts, spring doner are a nice change
