What a beautiful new shop, with lots of attention to detail. The kebab garden, the children's kebab corner, the shark-shaped bottle openers... Food really does bring people together, and this is Hani Alhay's mission. Pictures from Jerusalem and pictures from his homeland on the walls, stucco on the ceiling, a cozy fireplace, a comfortable seating area, a truly beautifully decorated restaurant with plenty of space and good food. What do I recommend? A short biography of Hani Alhay hangs on the wall near the cash register, and it's really worth reading. He tells his story and describes how he sees life—in a connecting and inviting way. Here's someone who puts his creative ideas into practice in a very down-to-earth way. Alhay is truly an Alhay remedy for the heart, palate, and mind. Thank you!

Wow!!! I had a classic doner kebab. Best doner I've ever eaten. The meat was nice and juicy, served in delicious crispy bread with tasty tzatziki and salad. Great atmosphere and friendly staff and manager. I give it 5 stars.

Yesterday, I visited the master's new residence with two friends and, as always, I was thrilled... Hani is a culinary artist. What's more, the new restaurant is now wheelchair accessible via the fantastic kebab garden. If you don't feel comfortable at the kebab master's, it's your own fault...

It was a wonderful holiday experience! Alhay Hotel truly exceeded our expectations. The entertainment team, in particular, was excellent; their energy added joy to our holiday. I'd like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Anıl; he took such great care of us and was there for us with everything we needed. My girlfriend and I drove to Oldenburg today (2.5 hours!) to finally try the potato doner kebab. We specifically checked to see if it was open. It says online from 4 p.m., and it said it was open, but there was no mention of a move or that it's currently closed! That was very disappointing for us, as we had planned the trip. Perhaps they should put this on their website, so we could have saved ourselves the trip, including the unnecessary wasted fuel. What a shame...

Nice manager and staff. A shop with lots of ideas to continually provide customers with a new interpretation of the doner kebab. Sometimes really good, but sometimes there's room for improvement. The potato doner is good, as are many other variations. On my last visit, I had the "English Doner." This doner consists of doner meat (veal?), fries, and beans in tomato sauce, with some cheese. The idea appealed to me, but unfortunately, the concept ultimately became a kind of "uniform" dish. It just tasted like a mass of food and was very filling. I had this creation as a plate dish. I would definitely visit the shop again, but I would choose a different dish.

What can I say, unfortunately not so great😕Had the potato dürüm and an XL kebab. First about the sauce: We had cocktail sauce and unfortunately it was way too sweet and the kebab was just swimming in sauce so it wasn't great. There was almost no sauce in the dürüm. The normal meat in the kebab is very dry, just like the potato/doner combo. Salad was actually good but why is there corn in it, not our taste and as I said way too much sauce in the kebab. I don't want to say that anything is bad or anything, but it just didn't suit us

Unfortunately we are a bit disappointed at the moment. The pita is still good. But the rest... kale kebab wasn't really tasty, then last time something was wrong. If something is spicy, for example the Arabic Rollo, you should write that down on the card. Otherwise yours will be prepared food ends up wasted. Sauces etc. have also been forgotten lately. We would like to see more attention paid to orders and, for example, to the sauces in the dishes and also extra.

First time eating there. The kebab potato pita was exactly to my taste. Meat fresh and tender, potato pieces not too soft and nice and spicy, salad fresh and crunchy. Two different sauces included. My son had a kebab plate. Also this fresh large portion of meat and fries and salad. Delicious 😋

And the atmosphere is really nice and cozy 5/5 stars. Melöner definitely has to drink it, it's really tasty even in bad weather.

The restaurant discriminates against minorities. See picture, should be self-explanatory. To explain who doesn't make it: “Ching Chang Chong” is often used in Germany as an insult against people of Asian descent. It would be like insulting a Turk, Arab or Kurd as "Kana...", or Sinti and Roma as "Zige...". That simply does not work. Really the best kebab I've ever eaten, especially the potato kebab is awesome! However, my friend and I were unfortunately disappointed each time with our last 3 orders. In two orders there was no meat on the kebabs at all, but probably seitan or falafel, even though it was specifically said that there should be meat on them (of course it was still tasty, but it's still really frustrating if you order extra with meat). For the other order, my friend ordered a few things especially for me, but they were still there :( It's really disappointing, especially because I'm really impressed with the shop and love the kebab :(💔 Otherwise: The boss is really super personable and the baklava are heavenly (especially with children's bars in it, unusually awesome) 💖

The kebab is very tasty, especially the flatbread. Never had such good flatbread as here. And the baklava with children's bar filling is also a delight.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. You are not asked what to put on it, there is some kind of powder on it and the meat tastes like nothing. How the kebab could have been the best kebab in Oldenburg three times is a mystery to me, it just sounds like a big deal I would do this place.

The owner is a cool and nice guy, but the kebab wasn't good at all. I ordered a vegan potato kebab, on the way home the thing was already soggy and torn, it had something like a barbecue sauce in it that has nothing to do with kebab. There were also pieces of meat (?) in my kebab, even though I ordered it vegan. There was no mention of soy or seitan products on the menu. The salad and the spices on the bread were good though.

I have lived in Oldenburg for 10 years. I've been a regular here for a year because this shop offers the best kebab in Oldenburg. The bread is homemade and beats any bread by far, the sauces are also homemade, and the meat is juicier than others. I don't really care about the ambience but the sayings and decorations in here are fun. The special kebabs are also worth trying. Potato doner, kale doner, Brussels sprouts, spring doner are a nice change

Der Döner ist gut, auch die Größe ist akzeptabel für den Preis aber im Jahr 2023 kann man gerne Mal anfangen Kartenzahlung anzubieten. Die Gebühren können kein Gegenargument sein, denn das Handling von Bargeld ist ja auch mit Kosten verbunden - geht ja auch Arbeitszeit für drauf dass das jemand bei der Bank einzahlt etc.

Was für ein kulinarischer Genuss! Der Kartoffel Döner in Oldenburg hat mich, meine Ehefrau und unsere gute Freundin mit seiner geschmacklichen Vielfalt und Qualität regelrecht verzaubert. Die fusionierte Kreation aus perfekt gewürzten Kartoffeln, frischen Zutaten und einer unwiderstehlichen Sauce hat unsere Geschmacksknospen tanzen lassen. Die Atmosphäre in diesem Lokal ist gemütlich und einladend, und das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend. Jeder Bissen war eine Offenbarung – die knusprigen Kartoffeln ergänzten sich hervorragend mit dem zarten Fleisch und den köstlichen Saucen. Dieses gastronomische Erlebnis war schlichtweg umwerfend und hat uns definitiv als Stammgäste gewonnen! Wir können es kaum erwarten, wieder zurückzukehren, um erneut in den Genuss dieses fantastischen Geschmackserlebnisses zu kommen.

Bester Laden Oldenburg, ich komme gerne wieder

Top Lage, sehr gutes Essen und guter Preise für ein leckeres Produkt. Wir hatten den kartoffeldöner- Teller , große XL Döner und Falafel pita. Alle gleich bleiben gut und sehr schnell serviert. Schaut vorbei, sehr zu empfehlen, die Bewertung haben die nicht ohne Grund!

Der Laden ist echt hübsch und spannend sich um zusehen, der Besitzer auch megers nett. Das erste mal da essen war super lecker, beim zweiten Mal waren leider Haare am Essen, keine Ahnung ob das von den Helfer kam, leider war das super unschön und mochte es nicht weiter essen. Hatte jedes Mal zum mit nehmen, das war aber immer super transportfähig. Nochmal da etwas zu kaufen traue ich mir eher nicht. Die abwawechslung und neuen Ideen sind aber auch super.

Bei Instagram habe ich zufällig vom Melöner erfahren, den es nur bei Alhay in Oldenburg geben soll. Wenige Tage später machte ich mich mit meinen Freunden vom Süden Deutschlands auf den Weg um dieses innovative Gericht zu verkosten. Ich und meine Freunde wurden freundlich begrüßt und als ich zum Melöner überlegte einen Becher Ayran zu nehmen wurde mir davon abgeraten, da dies nicht zusammen passen würde. Für diesen ehrlichen Hinweis war ich dankbar. Wir nahmen draußen Platz und nach wirklich kurzer Wartezeit für frisch zubereitete Speisen kam unser Essen. Der Melöner war wunderschön auf dem Teller angerichtet, mit Pommes, leckerer Sauce, Ananas und einer weiteren süßen Überraschung, die ich nicht vorweg nehmen möchte. Die verschiedenen Zutaten des Melöners und die unterschiedlichen Geschmäcker harmonieren hervorragend miteinander und sind ein Geschmackserlebnis der besonderen Art! Wer für Neues offen ist muss den Melöner unbedingt probieren! Auch alle anderen lobten das Essen in besonderem Maße, worüber sich der Chef im persönlichen Gespräch sehr freute. Zum Abschluss gab es noch ein Erinnerungsbild mit ihm und wir sind schon gespannt, was er uns zaubert, wenn wir mal wieder die weite Reise auf uns nehmen. Bleib so kreativ! :) Der König

Immer stabil und freundlich. Gehe seit Jahre nur hier hin. Der Laden setzt sich definitiv durch die besonderes Gewürze bei jedem Gericht von allen anderen weit weit ab.

Der "Kartoffeldöner vegan" war die köstlichste Speise, die je meinen zarten Gaumen berührt hat. Die Anrichtung auf dem Teller glich geradezu einem Kunstwerk und begeisterte mich vom ersten Moment an. Dazu wurde eine aufrichtige Getränkeempfehlung und jahrelange Erfahrung des Inhabers serviert. Ein Genuss für Körper und Seele! Ich würde für diese schmackhafte Speise und das Erlebnis rundum jederzeit wieder aus Süddeutschland anreisen. Nein, im Ernst: 5 Sterne, sehr sympathisch und leckeres Essen!
