A fantastic restaurant that's a highlight of any hike ☺️. The homemade apple pie and potato salad are highly recommended and very reasonably priced. The hosts are incredibly warm and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return.

A wonderful restaurant, just like the one I remembered 60 years ago from my childhood in the Sauerland region. Friendly hosts, delicious cakes, and delicious food. A cozy atmosphere.

Mr. Gerlach brings a piece of history into modern times. The counter still looks like it did 20 years ago, and that's a good thing! Fresh filter coffee, homemade potato salad… everything is authentic and definitely worth a visit.
