People used to pay less, but they got enough for it. They now pay more, get drinks for less than half and also eat smaller portions. For the money I can get better somewhere else. But service was great

... It's quite OK in terms of flair, the waitresses are friendly and the food and drinks are very quick at the table... But they never seem to have large water bottles if you order a bottle of wine, and the water is actually cheaper, but there's never any available 😜

We went there for brunch for my mother's birthday. The food was ok, the rest was rather difficult. I wanted to make a reservation by phone a week in advance. The employee on the phone didn't seem to be experienced and asked a colleague in the background if there was anything available for 7 people for the first Libori Sunday. Answer “Well, everything is fully booked, it’s Libori!” 30 minutes later my wife was able to book a table online without any problem. Confirmed again by phone 2 days later, no problem... When we got there it wasn't particularly busy, most of the guests were sitting outside and it was quiet inside. Our service was really nice, the order was taken, the drinks arrived quickly, great! Came around more often, cleared the plates, took good care of us. But then she seemed to be going on break and then left and sat at a table in civilian clothes - no problem, everyone deserves a break - Unfortunately, we were only visited rudimentarily by another employee and at some point we ran out of drinks. Then employee 3 came who wanted to bring us a shandy, but it was ordered from the next table. Happened… My mother paid for the entire table, but we stayed for a while. 3 more sparkling wines were ordered and delivered. Then employee 3 came back and put a tray of beer on the table for us. Our perplexed looks probably cleared her up, whereupon she supplied the next table with beer with the words “I keep mixing up these tables.” When our charming waitress returned from break, I asked her to tell me the remaining amount. €28.90 (or was it €29.90? Unfortunately I didn't get a receipt) I gave her €40, thanked her for HER wonderful service and we left. On the way home the conversation came up about what I had just paid for... and we stumbled upon the fact that apart from the champagne, nothing else had been ordered. And 30 euros for 3 sparkling wines is the most credible on the Reeperbahn. Now I keep thinking that I apparently invited the next table for a round of beer through employee 3. Fantastic. Conclusion: OK for a quick snack, but apparently very disorganized. Something like that shouldn't happen.

In any case, if you want to have breakfast, you should make a reservation here, otherwise you may not get a seat. The buffet leaves nothing to be desired and is also rich. Unfortunately, the service was a bit stressed during our visit, which was of course noticeable. But everyone can have a bad day sometimes, otherwise we were happy so far. Of course, it's much easier to sit inside than outside, as there are more buses outside and delivery vehicles and other cars drive right next to you. So you can sit beautifully in the interior. If you would like to have breakfast, it is definitely worth a visit, as the Libori Gallery also offers parking spaces and you would be able to have breakfast with dry feet even if it was raining. All in all, a great location to have a hearty breakfast.

Nice branch of the system catering. The atmosphere is cozy. Unfortunately, despite there being little activity, the staff was very inattentive and slow.

This Alex Café is well located on the ground floor of the Libori Gallery and has a nice and calm ambience. If you like things more civilized and relaxed, this is the place for you. The offer is good, there is a large selection from the main course to dessert. The drinks are also excellent.

It's been a long time since I've eaten at Alex again. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Despite the many employees, I hardly felt served. No one asked during the meal if everything was OK. Unfortunately, the braised onions were missing from my dish. So for what you get it's too expensive for my taste. Also, the cards were stuck on the table. But the worst thing was that all the guests were on first name terms. That just sounds totally disrespectful! During my visit I also noticed some errors. My drink came twice and the next table had one drink too many. Bad service unfortunately... I don't need this again.

First the drinks were served incorrectly. I immediately noted that I hadn't ordered this drink, and the waitress simply walked away ignorantly. I ordered the Caesar wrap, which was also really tasty at other Alex restaurants. But this time there was cheese in it (although there was never cheese in there, and it's not even mentioned in the description). Since you are allergic to it, it was very inedible and the fries were extremely salty.

The only thing that's really good is the service. The steaks were all well done instead of medium rare. Out of respect for the animal, which died again in the pan, we ate it anyway. Ambience has a kind of waiting room feel

Very tasty, the selection of dishes goes in different directions: burgers, schnitzels, pasta, bowls, soups, wok, ... But there is often only a selection of 3 dishes per category, for example there are only 3 pasta dishes. The staff is very friendly and always jokes a lot, sometimes maybe just a little too much. We spontaneously decided to have breakfast at Alex this morning. I won't make this mistake again, the reception of the guests was totally disorganized, unfriendly and you felt unwelcome. If you were able to get something from the warm buffet (usually it was out of stock or cold) I thought that the ready-made meatballs from discounters like Aldi or Lidl would probably taste a lot better warm. There were usually still two slices of cold meat in the cold buffet, but you lost your appetite when you saw carelessly draped slices of cold meat. There is a glass of orange juice at the buffet, hot drinks are not included, my wife asked if she could get maple syrup with the pancakes, the bottle was replaced, after she asked herself why nothing came out, we got it ourselves, “Freshness seal” removed to access the liquid, (There was a nice waitress, a young woman? A young man? You can't be so sure today, but in any case it saved the morning a bit) I would generally recommend eating here with hated relatives, Maybe you can get rid of the baggage after this impossible breakfast. A real shame!!!!

This is a BIG Chinese restaurant. Food everything you can think of. Meat, fish and a great dessert. And not expensive. You should definitely visit.

Food was okay, service very friendly. However, the price level is astronomical. You should definitely work on that and make it guest-friendly again.

The Alex in Paderborn is a good restaurant. The employees are friendly and helpful. It's definitely a little louder when you're sitting inside. It is a good place to go if you want to have breakfast or meet up with several people for food or drinks.

The food and the ambience can't be judged either. But reserving a table is a challenge for those who called 2 times and no table was reserved. Because the line wasn't there and you can't make a reservation without the line. Now I can also judge the food. At breakfast the hot food was cold for whatever reason, everything tasted artificial for the money, wow. Everything was better before.

Went to Alex yesterday afternoon for a little birthday drink. I went to our reserved table. There were crumbs on the table, impressions on the edges of the glass, crumbs on the chairs too. I asked a waitress to please wipe the table because everything was still stuck. The waitress came, wiped the table, but said that the tables here always stick...mhm... Afterwards I wanted to sit down and saw downstairs at our table that everything was very dirty and full of crumbs. The glasses still had water stains. Well, many guests don't seem to mind the ambience or the cleanliness. I won't go to this place again!

Ambience and service, absolutely top, the waitresses are very friendly, but one thing is the highlight, and that is a simple Cola Zero - 0.5l costs 6 euros. Here we can only speak of fantasy prices!!! No, absolutely NOTHING justifies this price. Something like that should absolutely be boycotted, not just in Alex, but in general.

Awful service , waiters don’t even take your order , sitting here for 30mins and I even ask a waiter nicely and she didn’t even bother too serve us

The breakfast was very tasty and there was a large selection.

We had dinner with a group of 25 people, unfortunately most of them were very disappointed with the food. On the one hand, the portions were very small (the bowls only contain about a tablespoon of rice), and on the other hand, they weren't particularly tasty (the burger patties were so hard that you could hardly cut them). This at a very generous price.

The food is nothing special. Fried potatoes served super greasy and the schnitzel... well. The service is worse! I have no idea what the blonde, mature woman's behavior is about. We waited a good half an hour for our food, which didn't matter at all because we had time. My wife had problems paying with the card. That didn't happen quickly enough for the lady. Everything from rolling eyes at colleagues to huffing and snide comments. I would have liked to have asked for the €2 tip back. We’re going to take a long “Alex” break now!

Unfortunately the food arrived cold. In addition, the portions are far too small, especially for the price. With a meal for 20€ you actually hope to be full (especially me as a small woman who usually always leaves something left over). I'm also disappointed in the taste for the price. Very disappointing. I ordered the oriental salad. First an ingredient was forgotten, then the waitress didn't want to believe me and was generally very unfriendly. The beetroot was bad and tasted completely sour. The portion was far too small for the price. I wouldn't recommend it.

Yesterday I had dinner at Alex Paderborn. It was my first time with you and I have to say that I was very, very disappointed with the food. I ordered spaghetti in tomato wild garlic sauce WITHOUT MEAT. After about 20 minutes of waiting, my spaghetti arrived WITHOUT sauce, so the noodles really tasted like NOTHING. At first I thought I was exaggerating and then I had a colleague try it too, but he then told me the same thing. I let the pasta go back and got new pasta pretty quickly. Unfortunately I had to eat alone because everyone else had already finished eating. I have to say that the service was all very friendly. The noodles tasted okay, but I didn't taste any of the wild garlic and it definitely wasn't worth the €17. Above all, I ordered without meat, which I thought was a bit cheeky but I didn't want to discuss it any further. Wouldn't visit Alex in Paderborn again.

Station hall, too loud, too expensive! Yes, I know everything will be more expensive, but I didn't feel like spending my vacation money on going out to eat. Today just my personal opinion.

Went there yesterday to have a snack for lunch. We had the new pizza rolls. I mean, you can forget about them. Rock hard and tasteless. The consistency probably came from the fact that these pizza rolls were apparently fried. Not recommended!

Alex, actually a great concept. Nice food and drink selection and great seasonal offers. Thumbs up. But... every Alex has that. The question is, what is different here than other Alex restaurants? The service staff! Some really good waitresses and waiters. Hats off. But then you also have a lot of people who forget orders, ignore the guest for 20 minutes, aren't very nice and are simply incompetent. Unfortunately...

Had to wait a long time for a table, then waited 45 minutes for the food, which was really good (except for the sweet potato fries). We all ordered the stuffed churros for dessert, which were completely over salted, even though there was vanilla sauce in them. A plate was then taken into the kitchen and we were told that everything was as usual and nothing was taken off the plate, but we found out that the things were only frozen, which is why none of the employees can know whether they were as usual , or not? We were supposed to get coffee as compensation, but were then incorrectly served espresso. Unfortunately everyone was disappointed.

The three of us were there on a Saturday evening. A salad, a pasta dish and, for me, a steak were ordered. We all really enjoyed the food and the steak was cooked to perfection, as requested. The herb butter was also extremely tasty. The chocolate cake as dessert rounded off the evening perfectly. We'd love to come back.

I paid a whopping €16.50 for this portion of schnitzel. An impudence.!!!!!!!!!!! You can't fool customers like this. If you raise the prices, which I can understand, then at least the portions should be decent. Never again.!!!!!!!

Wir haben 2023 Silvester im Alex Paderbo n gefeiert. Gerichtet haben wir uns nach den Vorgaben, die Online speziell zur Silvesterparty angegeben waren, die teilweise absolut falsch waren. Offiziell war angegeben, dass es eine spezielle Silvester-Getränkekarte geben soll und diese Getränke im Preis von 59€ inbegriffen sind. Auf dem Tisch lagen die normalen Karten aus, und auf Anfrage beim Service wurde mit den Achseln gezuckt und gesagt "weiß ich nicht". Zum Glück hatte mein Mann genug Geld einstecken, sonst hätte es ein peinliches Ende zum Jahreswechsel genommen. Ich selbst hatte nichts dabei, da ich davon ausgegangen bin, dass wir alles schon bezahlt haben, die Softdrinks also inklusive sind. Das war locken mit falschen Tatsachen, keine schöne Sache! Das Buffet war in Ordnung, klein aber fein. Auch die Musikauswahl war sehr gut - es wurde zum Glück nur ein einziger HF Song gespielt, welcher die Tanzfläche leergefegt hat und den DJ überzeugte, diese Musik nicht mehr zu spielen! Insgesamt war es ein schöner übergang in 2024, wenn es auch zu Beginn zu dieser unschönen Auflösung des "Fehlers" kam (ein Schelm, der Böses dabei denkt)!

Ich hatte die Gyoza und einen Superfood Latte. Beides sehr lecker. Dafür, dass es viele verschiedene Richtungen gibt, schaffen sie es doch, dass das Essen recht individuell schmeckt. Ich hab da jetzt auch keine Asia Qualität erwartet, wie bei einem Restaurant, dass das natürlich alles minütlich serviert. Daumen hoch. Ich mag Euren Laden. Bedienung war auch schnell und sehr nett.

Leider hat das Alex in letzter Zeit nachgelassen. Lange Wartezeiten, vergessene Speisen und rohe Burger haben leider zu immer mehr schlechten Erfahrungen geführt. War mal mein Lieblingslokal, aber aktuell läuft es nicht.

Wir waren heute zum frühstücken im Alex. Die Auswahl am Buffet ist sehr reichhaltig, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Ein großes Lob an den Service, der Laden war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt,trotzdem wurden wir sehr zügig und wahnsinnig freundlich bedient. Gerne wieder!

Waren heute dort frühstücken und waren sehr zufrieden. Es gibt dort eine gute Auswahl. Da ist für jeden was dabei, sogar ein paar warme Sachen wie z.B. kleine Würstchen oder Frikadellen, Rührei mit Bacon oder Spiegelei. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das kann man nicht anders sagen. Und der Preis für das Frühstück ist absolut in Ordnung. Kann wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Im ganzen Betrachtet: ein wundervoller Laden mit einer angenehmen Innendekoration, welches einem das Gefühl von Wohlbefinden vermittelt. Die Karte ist sehr übersichtlich gestaltet, was leider nicht überall selbstverständlich ist! Das Essen ist gut und man merkt, dass der Laden sich sehr viel Mühe gibt. Das Personal ist auch sehr offen und freundlich wie es sein sollte.

Ich war heute mit meinem Freund in Alex essen Als wir ankamen sagte uns eine Servicekraft unser Tisch ist da hinten in der Mitte. Getränke wurden nach ca 20 min aufgenommen. Als die uns dann gebracht wurden mussten wir weitere 15 min warsten bis und Mal jemanden Fragte ob wir auch was essen möchte. Mein Freund hatte das Champion Schnitzel mit Pommes und ich hatte eigentlich den Cheeseburger, aber gebracht wurde mir ein Chicken Burger. Ich ahbeextra nix gesagt weil wir 1 Stunde auf unser Essen warten musste und ich nicht noch Mal warten wollte. Geschmacklich war es in Ordnung aber Zuhause hätten wir es besser hinbekommen. Nach dem Essen wollten wir direkt zahlen. Es daurte bis eine Servicekraft auf uns aufmerksam wurde. Wir hatten Gebeten zu zahlen und sie wollte der Kollegin Bescheid sagen. Es dauerte nochmal 20 min , nachdem mein Portemonnaie schon lange auf dem Tisch lag, bis eine Servicekraft kam. Wir mussten lange warten und sahen dann das eine Servicekraft Pause machte. Ich komme selber aus dem Bereich und arbeite seit 4 Jahren im Service. Es ist in meinem Augen nicht in Ordnung wenn man so lange warten muss bis Mal jemand kommt. 17.30 Uhr waren wir da und haben 2 stunden später das Restaurant verlassen.

Das Essen war gut, jedoch fällt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis etwas negative aus. Man zahlt einfach den Aufpreis für die zentrale Lage.

Ich bin immer gern im Alex, vor allem wegen Essen und schnellem Service, selbst wenn viel Gäste da sind. Letzteres vor allem wichtig, weil ich manchmal vor dem Kinobesuch dort esse. Aber beim letzten Besuch lief das gar nicht. Die Vorspeise Nachos kam erst einer Stunde. Insgesamt dauerte alles so lange, dass wir echt schlechte Laune hatten und sogar auf Nachspeise verzichtet haben, obwohl wir uns echt drauf gefreut hatten. Wenn ich ins Kino gewollt hätte, hätte ich gehen müssen, deutlich bevor das Essen überhaupt gekommen wäre.

Immer wieder gern, Frühstück ist top von der Qualität sowie von der Auswahl der Speisen. Da ist für jeden was dabei. Personal ist auch mega freundlich. Weiter so 👌👍

Einfach super! Sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet mit allem was man sich wünscht (Pancakes, rührei, Bacon, Joghurt, Früchte, etc) in super lecker und einem sehr akzeptablen Preis. Perfekt! Komme regelmäßig

Schönes Lokal, leckeres Essen, freundliches und engagiertes Personal Wir hatten Burger, Schnitzel, Flammkuchen und Ofenkartoffel ... alle waren begeistert. Die Preise sind nicht ganz ohne, aber zwischendurch ist das schon mal drin. Wir kommen wieder!

Wo wir auch unseren Urlaub oder Kurzurlaub verbringen, ALEX muss dann unbedingt sein. Hervorragendes und leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. BESSER GEHT ES NICHT!! Schade dass es Alex nicht bei uns in Fulda gibt🙁. Auch der Service war bestens. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung.
