It was a good thing it was a Sunday shopping day. I was about to go to the competition. The chicken and hot sauce were very good. The price was more than fair. What I would personally change to make it even better: Make the cocktail sauce a bit thicker and serve it over the meat or spread on bread. I would also offer card payments, but that always involves fees, so...

We go there regularly, though not often—let's say once a month. We're over 50 now, but we've been going for many years. The food is always good; we've never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly; we've never encountered anyone in a bad mood. For us, it's always a satisfying and calming break, no matter what the day brings. I went on a recommendation, but unfortunately, it was quite a disappointment. The meat was barely seasoned and had little flavor – even the salad had a stronger taste. It was pretty consistent throughout, and the sauce was also very bland and simply tasted like natural yogurt. Furthermore, some of the pictures of the ambiance don't match the actual shop. The salad was fresh and the price was reasonable. However, based on the reviews, you'd expect much more – I honestly can't understand that.

Where do these misleading images come from that give you the cozy feeling of a pub? I mean the ones with the wooden ceilings, nice tables, etc. The reality is they're just rickety, cheap plastic tables. About the food: The price is super cheap. However, this is noticeable in the taste. The meat tastes fatty, but otherwise has no distinct flavor. The vegetables are fresh, the bread is good, and the yogurt sauce tastes like plain, thin yogurt without any seasoning. We went there on a recommendation and were very disappointed.

I used to eat kebabs here all the time as a child. Today, after years, I went back, and it still tasted absolutely amazing, just like it always did.

I tried this kebab on recommendation, and I have to say, if you like a classic kebab in delicious, crispy flatbread, this is the place for you! The meat was super tasty, and the feta cheese was perfect! From the first bite, I felt like I was back in my childhood! Top!

The frozen fries from the wholesale store are on sale for €4.50, and I don't like them. They were soggy from the sauce. I won't be having them again.

Since I was a child, I've been eating kebabs here, and only here. Always fresh, always delicious, always plentiful, and a super-friendly team led by the "old" boss, who sometimes puts a bill on the bill for regular customers or gives a child a euro so they can get an extra drink. Simply a shop with heart! Even though I now have to drive 1.5 hours to get here, I'll always come back whenever I get a kebab craving 😊

I've been buying takeout from there for years. But I was disappointed with the last kebab. There was barely anything in it, apart from meat. Not much sauce... I didn't like it at all. It's a shame if you slow down! That was the last kebab I'll ever get there! The fries are good.

I always loved going to Alanya as a child, and now, after many years of living elsewhere, I'm so happy that this great snack bar is still here. For those who don't eat meat, I highly recommend the vegetarian sandwich with salad and fries. The icing on the cake would be if they also offered vegan doner kebabs and vegan tzatziki, but I still enjoy coming back. The team is super nice and friendly!

I went to Alanja when I was little and it doesn't surprise me that the store doesn't exist today. Quality, taste and friendliness are still TOP!!!! I lived in Berlin for 10 years and have been living in Hamburg for 4 years now and Alanja is the best kebab I've eaten so far.

The Alanya Grill has been my first stop for a good kebab for years - always consistently good quality and friendly people at the counter. I hope that the competition from the newly opened kebab shop next door isn't too great and that customers continue to support the traditional, small shops.

I've eaten doner kebab many times in Germany, but this was different. It's seriously delicious and I recommend it. They add cheese if desired. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. It is a matter of pride that it is the most crowded venue right in the middle of the German city. I wish you good luck. If I go again, I'll be there the first day.

Everything is fresh and the store is clean. However, the veal “meat” was seasoned too obtrusively for me. Price/performance is good...Medium kebab with drink for 7.50 euros is impressive.

Well, the salad is “stretched” a little on the plate so that there is less french fries... but it was completely enough - and it was delicious too. The “spicy” is great. Delightful paste with a great taste. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll come back here. Thank you for the delicious food.

Somehow that doesn't work here with Turkish pizzas and kebabs. That was the second attempt in Ratingen (1st attempt at the taste wasn't good either). The Turkish pizza is half as thick as in Berlin, there is hardly any meat and the sauces - even the "spicy" ones - don't taste like anything. Can't recommend it - you won't get full either.

The Alanyagrill is the oldest kebab shop in Ratingen and has always been good for decades. Owner-managed with a lot of love, you can get classic snack dishes like fries, kebabs, kebab plates, etc. The dishes are always fresh, prepared straight away and taste very good. The price of the Alanyagrill has gone up a bit, but everything is within reasonable limits.

Geschmacklich ist es für mich immer noch der beste Döner. Leider ist auch immer weniger drin. Die Preise für Döner sind ja eh durch die Decke gegangen aber dann möchte ich auch was im Brot haben. Früher konnte man für 3€ kaum reinbeißen und heute für 6€ ist der döner total dünn und dann nichtmal bis oben voll. Sehr schade.

Wir haben Vieles im näheren und weiteren Umfeld des Alanya Grills probiert und sind immer wieder dort gelandet. Hier stimmt einfach die Qualität und der Service! Mittlerweile in zweiter Generation der Familie Gazioglu.

Я спробувала багато турецьких страв у різних місцях. М’ясний донер тут це просто синтетичне або соєве м’ясо воно не справжнє. Куряче м’ясо набагато смачніше. Всі овочі свіжі та соуси смачні. Подобається подача в хрусткому хлібі а не в лаваші. Тут можливо розраховуватися тільки готівкою. Їжа непогана але не така щоб занадто смачна.
