ALABOLU in Duisburg

5 stars – A real insider tip! Today, I happened to be at the Alabolu restaurant with a colleague – and what a stroke of luck! The cuisine is something different, pleasantly different. You immediately notice that the food is cooked with love. The flavors were perfectly balanced, each dish had its own character, and everything was fresh and authentic. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere pleasant – you immediately feel welcome. We were both thrilled and will definitely be back. A clear recommendation for anyone open to new taste experiences!

As always, the food tastes very good, but now it's just way overpriced. For the price of the Baba portion, not even drinks included, unfortunately it was way too expensive.

Tastes TOP. The colleagues are friendly and the store is clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the price doesn't match the rest at all. Such a pleasant image is damaged by the exorbitant price and you can no longer enjoy the delicious food 100%. Almost an hourly minimum wage for a (tasty) aluminum box with an estimated less than 100g of (turkey) meat is simply not justified. I hope the price is adjusted again to the current economic situation.

After more than 3 years, I finally managed to go by there again and eat delicious food. It's just awesome that it's still just as delicious after more than 3 years. Just high praise for great food. I had the chance to try ALABOLU during my visit to Duisburg, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was amazing with a great balance of flavors, and the service was impressively fast — we got our order in less than 5 minutes. The staff was polite and welcoming, adding to the positive atmosphere. Located conveniently in the city center, it’s very easy to reach. We ordered the small box of turkey, which came with perfectly seasoned fries, fresh salad, and delicious sauces that tied everything together. The portion was satisfying, and at €7, it was excellent value for money. And it is Halal. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Duisburg!

We stayed over the weekend and ended up eating here because of the many positive reviews. I have to be honest, we don't regret it. The casserole that is offered is really delicious and you can add additional toppings as desired. The staff is consistently very friendly and accommodating. Yes and overall it is very clean there. The only drawback is the waste that comes from eating, i.e. aluminum casserole dish and plastic fork. Could still be improved.

We were in Duisburg in the city center and wanted to grab a bite to eat and happened to stop by ALABOLU. We received a very friendly welcome and advice. The food was very tasty and I can recommend this restaurant. Everything freshly prepared and served. We'll go there again when we're in Duisburg.

A change if you want to eat something different. It is definitely very tasty and special. The portions are also reasonable. The employees are very nice and helpful. Two small criticisms are that the menu is confusing and confusing - it makes ordering a little complicated in my opinion. I think the prices are too high but that's just my perception.
