Al Borgo in Kirchheim unter Teck

Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass in der Küche dieses Restaurants eine waschechte italienische Nonna steht, die jeden mit dem Nudelholz bedroht, der nicht mit Liebe kocht. Anders lässt sich dieses Essen einfach nicht erklären! Vom ersten Bissen bis zum letzten Schluck Espresso war absolut alles perfekt. Der Service war so aufmerksam und herzlich, dass ich kurz davor war, die Köchin zu adoptieren (oder mich von ihm adoptieren zu lassen, Hauptsache ich kriege jeden Tag dieses Essen).😜 Fazit: Mein Herz und mein Magen sind im siebten Himmel. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Lecker! Meine vegane Empfehlung: Ofenkartoffeln, Grillgemüse und Bruschetta. Alles frisch und lecker. Einzig das Grillgemüse hatte ich mir direkt vom Grill und warm gewünscht. War aber auch kalt sehr gut. Ordentlich Knoblauch und Olivenöl an allem dran, perfekt 👌🏼 Auch die Pizza mit Büffelmozzarella und die Salamipizza waren fantastisch. Wir haben uns sogar die Randreste der Pizza einpacken lassen, weil sie so knusprig und gut sind.

Wir waren Sonntags mit 4 Personen im Alborgo-zur Brenne Essen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen , sehr gut beraten. Alle sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen und der Wein hat super gemundet. Wir hatten einen besonderen Anlass und ließen es uns deshalb sehr gut gehen. Macht weiter so und bleibt gesund. Liebe Grüße.

Wir kamen Freitag Nachmittag nach Empfehlung einer Freundin. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und der Service hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert. Wir haben 2 Pizzen und 1 Seppia Teller mit leckere Kartoffeln ald beilage bestellt. Die Pizzen sind groß, geschmacklich sehr gut und von sehr guter Qualität. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt und das leckere Essen.

Ich war in einer tollen Pizzeria in der Nachbarschaft. Die Pizza aus dem Holzofen war fantastisch. Und die Bedienung sprach fließend Italienisch, Deutsch und Englisch.

Sogar unsere Kinder freuen sich dort, weil sie sich geliebt und willkommen fühlen. Das Essen ist köstlich, egal was man bestellt, und die Pizzen und Desserts sind exzellent. Auch zu besonderen Anlässen gehen wir gerne dorthin und waren immer zufrieden. Gestern haben wir dort die Taufe unseres Kindes gefeiert. Sie haben den Tisch für die Fotos dekoriert, und ihre Mitarbeiterinnen haben sich auch um die Torte gekümmert. Ein wirklich eleganter und stilvoller Tisch und eine ebensolche Torte. Das Essen war wie immer köstlich, und die Torte war sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich ein Traum. Der Biskuit war herrlich weich und zerging auf der Zunge, und auch die Creme und die Puddings waren hervorragend. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass Sie nach Ihrem ersten Besuch wiederkommen werden. Eine absolut verdiente 5-Sterne-Bewertung.

Essen war gut, vorallem die Tomatensuppe vorab kann ich nur sehr empfehlen. Bei dem Essen hat mich nur gestört das die Nudeln die ich bestellt hatte sehr viele Zwiebeln enthalten waren( stand auf der speißekarte nicht drauf) da ich keine Zwiebeln mag und nicht auf der speißekarte informiert wurde konnte ich mein Essen nicht genießen

Die Tomatensuppe war die beste die ich jemals gegessen habe, genauso wie die Nudeln mit dem Burata. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Al Borgo offers delicious Italian food: pizza, pasta, salads, and other Mediterranean specialties. The very friendly staff are happy to help with the selection. We spent a very pleasant, cozy evening on the northern edge of Kirchheim unter der Teck (in the Schafhof hamlet). If you have the time and inclination, you can take a walk through the forest and meadows from here. The Schafhof itself, as a residential area, offers numerous playgrounds for children.

Despite the restaurant being busy, the food arrived promptly. The pizza Norcina and picatta milanese were both very good. Xenia served us and we have nothing but praise for her. Friendly and attentive. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Food was good. Unfortunately we had to wait 40 minutes until we were served, then another 40 minutes until the food came. A little tip: ask the customer directly if they would like something to drink to make the waiting time more pleasant. We didn't get an apology either. Service was friendly.

We were passing through and quite hungry. When looking for a suitable restaurant, we ended up at Al Borgo. We didn't have a reservation and therefore had to wait a few minutes until a place was available for us. The inn was completely booked, but the extremely friendly staff still found a solution. Thanks for that. The food tastes wonderful, just like in Italy. Many different variations of pizza and pasta. Perfect. Ambience and cleanliness top. A clear recommendation.

Just love this restaurant!!! I've tried a lot of Italians - but the family cooks the best and most authentic Italian food in the Esslingen/Filderstadt/Esslingen/Kirchheim region! We come here regularly and are particularly impressed by the freshness of the products. The service is legendary. The girls are never in a bad mood and are always eager to pamper their guests. If you have the craziest request, they'll make it happen and without batting an eyelid like you see in other restaurants. The prices are really okay for what you get! We love the restaurant and can recommend it 100%!!!!

We have tried almost every pizza in Kirchheim, but none were really to our liking. So we ordered here for the first time, 4 pizzas and a spaghetti bolognese. The pizzas were to die for!! We will be ordering here more often now! You feel like you're in Italy here. A dream

We happened to eat here (with Schlemmerblock)! Everything was perfect! Absolutely clean!!!! Friendly!!! Yummy!!! Even though we were told that we would have to wait for the food to be served since the restaurant was full (Saturday) and we didn't make a reservation...the food came very quickly! We didn't have to wait at all! We'll be back! P. S.: There's even lemon soda to drink!!! Grazie e forza Puglia ❤️‍🔥

We spontaneously went to Al Borgo after a hike to Teck Castle and are absolutely thrilled with this restaurant. Everything just worked, we were extremely happy. Starting with the warm and friendly service, both of whom were in a good mood (despite the full dining room) and totally attentive. We continue with the ambience: The restaurant is very elegantly furnished and really looks good. And all of this is topped off by the delicious food. We had bruschetta, rigatoni and pizza salami. I haven't eaten such delicious pizza in a long time. For us it was a successful end to our hike and even though it's a little further away, we'll definitely come back because of the overall package. Many thanks to the guests. You can feel that it is a big family that works and lives together there! We really liked it!

An Italian restaurant as you wish - warm, authentic, great starters, great pizza, delicious wine. We weren't here for the last time!

Were there for the first and last time. Despite a reservation, we were seated at a table away from the table and ignored for 30 minutes, while subsequent (regular) guests were served in a friendly and quick manner. The waitress kept looking at us and then walked past. Shortly before we wanted to leave, the pizza maker came out of his counter and took our order. The Vitello Tonnato starter and the pizza bread were delicious, but the pizzas were really tasteless. While we were still sitting at the table, the vacant tables were being cleaned - with a spray bottle that misted the entire room with the extreme smell of the cleaning product. We wanted to pay and were continued to be ignored until my husband went forward and ordered the bill. We answered the standard question about whether everything was OK. The response was...nothing. The waitress looked surprised and walked away without comment. There are many better places for the price.

We waited about 15-20 minutes until we were allowed to order, including drinks, not so nice. Then, as usual in Germany, as a guest you are no longer on the list, but pizza was great.

We ate there for the first time today and we loved it! The staff is very nice, the food was delicious and the prices were really fair. The menu offers many different dishes and a large selection of pasta and pizza (also vegetarian). Apart from the Italian classics, there are finally some more special dishes that you don't find so often. The tortellini with pistachios, mortadella and burrata were a real highlight. We would love to come back and can highly recommend it.

Great pizzeria. 9 of us were here for dinner (4 adults, 5 kids). Really awesome wood-fired pizza, great toppings and all pizzas taste great! There were also delicious beers from the Schönbuch Braumanufaktur. We'll definitely be back.

Remotely located, but highly recommended. In the cozy outdoor area with plenty of shady trees and plants, we enjoyed our pasta, which tasted very good and looked appealing. The rose wine (Leveno or something similar - unfortunately I can't remember its exact name) tasted really good. We'd love to come back.

Five of us were there for lunch for the first time today. The food was very tasty, except for the pasta dish. The pasta was very al dente and you had to look for the salmon. The pizzas, on the other hand, were great, as were the antipasti. Gladly again, but the pasta with salmon is unlikely anymore.

Had great bruschetta, orechiette with porcini mushrooms and especially Pizza Norcina was terrific (see photo)... juicy, well topped and excellent dough/base (wood oven - centrally in the restaurant... you can watch the pizzaiolo preparing it). We go there very often and the food is very tasty, except for lasagna or baked noodles, which we unfortunately can't recommend. What's also a shame is that the staff doesn't regularly check whether the guests still have enough to drink or have anything to drink at all.

We sat in the winter garden and there was no sense of a pleasant atmosphere because the light was so bright (we felt like we were in a hospital canteen...). We also had to wait a disproportionately long time for our drinks and food. The entire service team was extremely unfriendly, including the boss... Price-performance ratio wasn't right either. All in all a total failure and not recommended.

Today we were in the "neue Brenne" at the Schafhof for the first time...but with the Schlemmerblock... We ordered 2 pizzas, one of them vegetarian with porcini mushrooms, pesto, parmesan shavings, fresh tomatoes and rocket. Despite there being few guests and we were very early, something went wrong with the order. Instead of sour shandy, a sweet one and the vegetarian pizza was missing the ruccola and fresh tomatoes 😳😳😳 Was it because of the gourmet block??? No apology, no nothing...whether we go there again??? Finally, the positive...the pizzas were still good.

Not again. We reserved a table for 7 people at 6:30 p.m. Ordered drinks and 7 pizzas with 2 side salads at 6:40 p.m. After the neighboring table, which had ordered half an hour after us, had already been provided with food, I received the answer to my complaint that "our" delay was due to the two salads we ordered. What logic. Finally, the pizzas arrived 75 minutes after we ordered, although only the dough for the vegetarian calzone was warm.
