Akropolis Grill in Kamen

I've been going there since 1996 and have never been disappointed. The "new" ambiance is nice, but I much preferred the old one, but that's a matter of taste. The food is always top-notch, the price/performance ratio is excellent, and the wait time is short, even when it's busy. 👌☺️

We happened to be here by chance and wanted a schnitzel without fries. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. The food was just the usual frozen food. The staff weren't the friendliest. The shop doesn't look that great either.

Very tasty 😋 Even with a large order, I wasn't overwhelmed. I waited 20 minutes, and everything was perfect.

Great Greek dishes at a good price-performance ratio. A lot of people pick up food here and eat it at home. You can also eat in the restaurant itself. The meat is beautifully tender and not dry like you often experience elsewhere. We'll be happy to come back.

I'm very happy with my Greek meal and so are other people, the restaurant is always very busy on weekends. I've always ordered my food by phone in advance for a year now, so I don't have to wait because it can take half an hour on the weekend. The food is always great 😋 and the service is also very friendly 😊. So the restaurant is very popular.

Good Greek grill, delicious food at a fair price.

This used to be a billiards room, but it's been a restaurant for many years now. The interior is a bit cold. The friendliness isn't overrated either. We wanted a schnitzel without fries. That wasn't possible. We only had the full schnitzel menu. The food was just the usual frozen fare. Nothing special.

Gyros plate eaten. Large portion, taste good. The premises have been beautifully renovated. I don't have too many demands, but feel free to get uniform cutlery! There were four of us as guests and I had a fork that was so cheap that you can't buy that anymore these days. After eating, I had a slight pain on my finger and clear marks because the fork looked like it was cut out of a sheet of metal. On the tables there are stands made of transparent plastic with the table number written on them in Edding. Take the printout out of there and put something more presentable in there. If the light in the sanitary area came on before you went out again to look for the switch... that wouldn't be bad either. Just like installing a single-lever faucet on the sink. These are all little things that make a visit to your place more pleasant and wouldn't cost much at all. I'll definitely be back at some point and I'm curious to see whether this criticism has been at least partially accepted and whether suggestions for improvement have been implemented.

We were there for dinner with the family in the afternoon. From the outside the restaurant looks quite inconspicuous. Inside it is nicely decorated and looks cozy. The food is really good. The portions are decent and the price is more than good. The gyros are really delicious. Personally, I haven't had a better meal in the area. Even our regular Greek at home can't handle it. 👍 The service was friendly and quick and the food was served quickly. I only missed the ouzo as a farewell 😉 but that may have been because we had to come to the front of the counter to pay. We were definitely not there for the last time.

This is our favorite Greek restaurant in Kamen. They‘ve remodeled the dining room, and it is nice, although it could be a bit more cozy. We generally order take out and eat it at home. Prices are very reasonable, and the service is always friendly and quick. I especially like that, in addition to the normal Greek dishes, they have a number of good vegetarian dishes on the menu. I love the „Gigantes“! Plenty of free parking is available in the evening on the street.

Sehr gutes Gyros und nette Inhaber. Auf der Suche nach einem guten Griechischen Restaurant sind wir endlich auf den Akropolis Grill gestoßen. Nachdem vor Jahren Hellas auf der Südstrasse in Hamm geschlossen hatte, haben wir einige Restaurants ausprobiert. Aber von dem Geschmack und dem Abiente sind wir erst jetzt endlich fündig geworden. Sie haben neue Stammkunden gewonnen. Gerne wieder! :)

Lecker wie immer. Aber mir fällt es schwer mehr Sterne zu geben. Service wüste. Man bekommt eine gerollte Pita nur zum mitnehmen! Ich bin in der Gastronomie groß geworden. Und wenn ein kunde einen Wunsch hat erfüllt man den (solange es im machbaren ist) Es hat trotzdem gut geschmeckt. Der Salat war frisch! Und der Rest hat auch absolut gepasst!

Freundlich ja, hatten allerdings das Gefühl etwas zu stören. Es wurde nicht nachgefragt ob das Essen geschmeckt hat oder wir noch etwas möchten. Wir sind schnell abgefertigt worden, bezahlen und schnell raus .... Kein schönes Gefühl als Gast nicht willkommen zu sein

Ich bin von den Lokal überhaupt nicht begeistert. Das Essen bei den, lässt sich echt zu wünschen übrig. Das Essen ist total versalzen.

Kleines aber feines Restaurant in der Nähe des Bahnhofes. Bisher immer freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen war lecker und frisch zubereitet. Die Preise sind sehr fair. Es war sicher nicht mein letzter Besuch.

Essen immer sehr lecker und Personal immer sehr freundlich einziger Minuspunkt war das bei uns gestern der Tisch abgewischt wurde mit einem extrem stinkenden Lappen und das danach der ganze Tisch nach Klo gerochen hat. Das war etwas schade und hat mir auch den Appetit etwas vermiest

Ein gutes und preiswertes Grillrestaurant.

Wir (2 Personen) waren zum 1.x dort. Es war relativ voll, aber wir haben direkt einen Tisch bekommen. Wir wurden dann auch promt bedient und die Getränke kamen kurz nach der Bestellung. Auch das Essen kam recht schnell nach der Bestellung. Zum Zaziki gab es frisch gebackenes Brot (wurden vorher gefragt ob wir welches haben möchten). Die Portionen waren reichlich und das Essen war gut. Nur an die Pommes hätte etwas mehr Salz oder Pommesgewürz gekonnt, doch das ist Geschmackssache. Die Bedienung war nett und zuvorkommend. Die Einrichtung sehr atmosphärisch und bequem.

Sehr leckeres essen für das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss. Das Personal war immer nett zu mir und Trinkgeld gebe ich auch ziemlich gerne. Gyros Pita schmeckt sehr gut und macht auch ziemlich satt. Parkmöglichkeiten könnten besser sein aaaaber man kann etwas weiter parken und hinkommen also ist es auch nicht so schlecht! Ambiente ist ziemlich gut, sauber alles schön. würde ich definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Portion war großzügig. Leider weniger gut als der Durchschnitt. Das Gyros war viel zu klein geschnitten als ob man es mit der Kettensäge zerkleinert hat. Mir haben Gewürze gefehlt. Tzatziki war auch nicht überzeugend. Da fehlte einfach das bestimmte etwas. Pommes sind ok aber sehr klein.

Leckerer Gyrosteller. Allerdings der erste Grieche bei dem es keinen Ouzo gibt.

Das Essen ist gut, aber man muss eine Stunde warten, um vor Ort essen zu können; die Lieferung nach Hause wird vorgezogen. Ich empfehle eher zu bestellen als dort zu essen. Und wenn man die Bestellung aufnimmt, wird einem nicht gesagt, dass einige Dinge extra kosten.

Ich kenne den Imbiss schon Ewigkeiten. Zumindest den Standort. Es war für mich immer die beste Pita die ich kenne. Dieses mal halt leider nicht. Das Fleisch war nicht mehr die gewohnte Qualität. Sehr fettig und schwabbelig dieses Mal. Ich hoffe das war ein Ausreißer und beim nächsten Mal ist es einfach wieder die beste Pita in der Region.

Ich weiß nicht warum die das Fleisch mit so einer Dönermaschine schneiden. Für mich ein Grund da nichts mehr zu holen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker 😋, war angenehm überrascht wie viel es war. Habe leider nicht alles geschafft. Die Bedienung sehr flott und sehr freundlich. Ich kann das Restaurant mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Die Preise sind 👌 okay und die Auswahl ist sehr gut. Mich sieht man da wieder.

Solider Grieche mit qualitativ gutem Essen. Top Service. Die Speisen können auch abgeholt werden, für den Verzehr zu Hause. Der Eingangsbereich erinnert an eine "Pommesbude", dennoch kann das Akropolis viel mehr. Viele Stammkunden sprechen für sich. Schaut vorbei.

Waren vor einem Event in der Stadthalle dort. Super Parkmöglichhkeiten und das Essen ist der Hammer. Die Preise sind vollkommen im Rahmen. Das Personal super freundlich.

Neues Ambiente Personal freundlich wie eh und je

Haben zwei mal innerhalb von 3 Monaten hier bestellt. Preis-Leistung ist meiner Meinung nach super. Ist auch bisher das beste Fleisch, was ich beim Griechen essen durfte. Andere im Umkreis waren nicht mein Fall. Gyrosteller sind sehr üppig und der Preis dafür stimmt auch. 😊
