Das Essen wurde uns lauwarm serviert, Daher sehr schnell kalt gewesen! Sehr kleine Karte mit sehr hohen Preisen, Wir gehen sehr gerne zum Griechen essen aber nie wieder in dieses Restaurant! Gruß aus der Küche war sehr nett und gut aber wir waren 4 der Gruß aus der Küche nur für 3 dann lieber keinen!

Went for lunch today and it was great as always. Food tasted absolutely great. Service as expected, nothing to complain about and the price is absolutely reasonable and not too much for these dishes. Lamb leg from the roaster. Lamb leg with mushrooms and potato vegetable puree refined with parsnips, it tasted absolutely perfect. Lamb dishes at Akropolis are perfect and have never been disappointing. Anyone who has ever been disappointed by the lamb should eat it at Acropolis 😉! Absolute recommendation.

TL;DR: Friendly service, modern interpretation of Greek cuisine, delicious food, but slight deductions due to waiting time and temperature of the food. I went to the Acropolis with my mother this evening and we loved it. As soon as we entered, we were greeted warmly and introduced to the inn's new concept right from the start. In addition to the classic menu, there is a changing menu every two weeks that includes modern dishes with which the restaurant wants to stand out from the sometimes somewhat old-fashioned Greek cuisine. And I have to say, they do it really well. As you can see from the photos, the dishes actually look a bit more modern. The taste of the food was also convincing. The grill plate was very tasty. As a greeting from the kitchen there was a velvety carrot and coconut soup with a wonderful, fresh coconut taste - assuming you like coconut. A little tip for the kitchen: Since this is a greeting from the kitchen, two to three spoons would have been enough. A whole bowl of soup was nice, but a little too much. Good thing we didn't order a salad! The main course took a while to arrive, but that's understandable when the restaurant also offers meals to pick up. On the grill plate was a juicy, tender piece of lamb with great flavor, an Iberico Duroc steak that was nicely seared but a little over-seasoned for my taste. Unfortunately, the slightly nutty taste of the Iberico meat was lost a little - maybe next time a little less salt. The chicken breast souvlaki was also tender, juicy and very tasty. The gyros was also tasty, juicy and not too over-spiced - neither too dry nor too salty, as you sometimes experience in other Greek restaurants. The pita bread absorbed the meat juices wonderfully and was therefore really tasty. The rosemary baby potatoes were cooked perfectly – neither too soft nor too firm. My mother had the “gyros meets baby calamari” dish from the classic menu. She also thought her food was delicious, but said it could have been a little warmer. The calamari was tender and had just the right amount of breading – not too much batter and not too many spices. Their gyros were also juicy and delicious. The potato dippers looked like steak fries and were a little too salty for my taste, although my mother disagreed. In any case, they were nice and crispy and well cooked. Due to the slightly longer waiting time and my mother's food not being very hot, I am deducting one star, but with the prospect of giving it back on a next visit. All in all, it was a worthwhile and satisfying visit, and it certainly won't be our last.

The stairwell that you have to go through has nothing at all like what awaits you in the restaurant on the first floor. Friendly welcome in a cute and cozy guest room. The service from the owner is impeccable from start to finish, friendly and he takes the time to explain the things you find on the plate in front of you. The food itself is absolutely amazing. I have never had better Greek food, anywhere. Highly recommended. In addition to greetings from the kitchen (excellent cream of mushroom soup), there was also... Main course very high quality ingredients and a portion size that even the hungriest will leave more than full. Reasonably priced for what you get. Absolute recommendation!

The entrance or staircase to the restaurant is a bit like a hotel in need of renovation and you feel like you want to leave again. The actual guest room is rustic, cozy, like a country inn and you can definitely feel at home there. The waitress was super nice and told us the house's recommendations in a friendly, non-intrusive manner. Beyond the normal Greek menu, you can get some extraordinary creations that not only look good but also taste good. All dishes were lovingly prepared. This restaurant is definitely worth recommending.
