Delicious gyros and friendly service.

Small menu due to holidays, but the food was top. We felt like we were on vacation somewhere in Greece.

Our experience at the Acropolis was very positive. The food was beautifully prepared as you would expect from a starred kitchen. The prices are absolutely fair for the large portions that are served. The meat is very juicy. All in all, it was a perfect meal for two.

The owner is extremely accommodating and does everything he can to make his guests happy. Humorous and with the right ambience, it conveys a Mediterranean, homely flair. The food was a pure culinary delight. The portions were very large and extremely pleasing to the eye. Extra requests were courteously implemented! The best Greek I've been to so far. The service is so warm and friendly that you immediately feel at home. The food is just WOW! There is no need to say anything more about it. There has also recently been a “Recommendation of the House” card, which you definitely have to eat. It is delicious! A visit if you are in the area is a must. Every km is worth the drive there, definitely stop by!

We ate very well at the Acropolis. The host was so interested in the recommendation menu with more modern dishes that I agreed to it. The meal was beautifully prepared and tasted very good (a little more meat would have been nice). The vegetables were pretty tasty. The Greek salad also tasted good, but we found it to be a bit pricey. We were well looked after and we always had the feeling that the landlord really cared about the well-being of his guests. Big praise for his commitment!

We really liked the new recommendation card; the children had schnitzel and pizza. Everyone was full, everyone enjoyed it really well. However, the recommendation card has moved to the foreground. Attention: The restaurant is on the first floor, there is a smoking bistro on the ground floor! The location in an old half-timbered house is very nice. I could very well imagine a rustic village pub here. The innkeeper offers impeccable service. He is highly qualified and has very good ideas. Alone: ​​It doesn't fit together. Rustic on the one hand, Greek cuisine on the second and then this innkeeper whose talent and vision, forgive me Albstadt, have been thrown to the proverbial swine here in the village. If he ran a store in downtown Stuttgart with this level of friendliness and professionalism, he would have a waiting list for reservations that could last weeks.

Super nice chef, took a lot of time to explain the menu, small requests were implemented immediately. The food was a huge portion (I had delicious food again the next day) for really little money. We sat outside at the restaurant and it was no problem at all that we wanted to eat outside. We will eat there more often now.

We were at the Acropolis yesterday and received a very friendly welcome. The landlord told us that the restaurant plans to go back to old Greek cuisine and that they are thinking about a concept for it and gave us a separate menu. It was clear to us that we supported such a good idea and chose dishes from this menu, which are otherwise described very well and in detail. My partner had the seafood risotto. Fresh seafood and an explanation from the host on how to properly peel the scampi were also included. Since I tried it, I can say it was incredibly tasty. I had the lamb corre myself and that was also a culinary delight. Between the starter salad and the main course there was a greeting from the kitchen. There was Greek bruccetta and we loved it. We were here today and it was really delicious! The recommendation from the house was particularly excellent. The dish was a little less seasoned, which we liked because it was still very tasty. It's better to have less spice than too much, so that the aromas of the fresh ingredients come into their own. Went there for the first time yesterday. We were warmly welcomed. The food is very tasty and the portions are filling. The salad was fresh. Service very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Our group consists of 10 people; 10 x grade very good. We ate really well and everyone was full. We were treated humorously and kindly. The old half-timbered house is very narrow and small in a few places, but is still beautifully furnished.

Hello... we were there for dinner today with 7 people. Our youngest got her food straight away so we could choose and order in peace. First the starter then the main course. Dessert later. Everything came quickly, tasted very tasty and good. The service was friendly and quick and very attentive. The prices are perfectly fine and reasonable. We were given a large bowl for the leftovers. Everything fine. This Greek restaurant was (luckily) the only one open on Wednesday. We weren't disappointed. Gyros were great - juicy but not greasy. Decent portion, very friendly service (boss?) - that's how it has to be! There was no ouzo before or after - which is rare. But it's better that the food is great than that the ouzo has to heal something afterwards... :-) Keep it up - I'll be coming more often now!

Essen war sehr gut, die Pommes hätte man nicht besser machen können, meine griechisch Bratkartoffeln waren sehr gut, geht zwar eher Richtung Gratin, werde sie auf jeden Fall wieder essen. Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Essen war sehr gut. Wie ich auch schon bei anderen gelesen habe, sind die Portionen leider eher etwas kleiner als bei anderen Griechen. Dafür ist es schon etwas teurer zum Teil. Ansonsten war es sehr gut.

Wir haben heute die Lokalität im Rahmen eines Geburtstagsessen besucht, die reservierten 6 Plätze befanden sich hierzu im Außenbereich zur Hauptstraße gerichtet. Der Innenraum ist im EG wie eine Kneipe mit Dartscheibe und Spielautomaten, TVs für sky Übertragungen, gedämpftes Licht im Raum, die Werbefotos welche im Web zu finden sind von dieser Location zeigen wohl den Gastraum im 1.OG. Die WC Anlagen sind „OK“ könnten aber wie die Kneipe etwas renoviert werden. Sämtliche Gläser hatten am Rand Wasserränder, hier sollten die Gläser kontrolliert bzw. nagewischt werden. Der Gastwirt war zu allen Zeiten überschwänglich freundlich. Das Preis zu Leistungsverhältnis aus meiner Sicht war gegeben. Das Essen kam schnell, parallel bei Vorspeise und Hauptgang für alle Personen. Die Weine in der Hauptkarte waren nicht aktuell und es gab KEINE BURGER zum Bestellen, die separat ausgegebene Weinkarte war ok und aktuell. Die Portionsgrößen waren gut und lecker mit genügend Tsatsiki Creme, auf den Fleisch- Spießen ist der Markenname „MEGA SOUVLAKI®“ zu lesen. Die in der Karte beschriebenen „Super Crunch Pommes“ waren einfache Pommes die bei unserem Besuch eher sogar durchgehend weich waren. Hinter der Wirtschaft und in der näheren Umgebung stehen genügend PKW Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Tischreservierung empfehlenswert. Die Vorspeisenplatte wie bei Google zu sehen mit den 16 Köstlichkeiten ist nicht mehr im Programm.

Took a random stop here on my mini roadtrip as I was craving Greek food. Sat outside and enjoyed good food food with friendly service.

Die Hauptgerichte (Bifteki und Souflaki) schmeckten sehr gut und sind preislich auch völlig in Ordnung. Wo wir mit den Ohren geschlackert haben war der Preis für den Griechischen Salat, der mit 9,90 € für die Portionsgröße und den Materialwert übertrieben teuer ist. Eine Tomate, ein paar Scheiben Salatgurke, ein paar Oliven und ein Stück Fetakäse, sowie ein Rädchen von einer Paprika sind meines Erachtens keine 9,90€ wert. Mit dem Service waren wir sehr zufrieden, das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Alles in einem ist das Akropolis, welches eher wie eine Kneipe als ein Restaurant wirkt, in Anbetracht der kleineren Portionen. preislich überdurchschnittlich hoch angesiedelt. Kenne ich von anderen "Griechen" sonst anderst. Geschmacklich war es aber ganz okay bis gut.

Der beste Grieche weit und breit…

Dorfgasstätte, der Gastraum ist optisch ohne erwähnenswerte Highlights. Doch am fad gewürzten Fleisch der Souvlakia Spieße waren stellenweise noch feine Borsten sichtbar. Ich empfand das dann doch etwas Unappetitlich. Aber die Portionen sind reichlich und die Bedienung ist um Freundlichkeit bemüht. Resümee: Ein weiterer Besuch im Akropolis Greek Restaurant? Eher nein.

Sehr nettes Restaurant und Bedienung war sehr nett aber das Essen mit durchschlagender Wirkung. Vom Grill Teller das Gyros schmeckte teilweise gammelig was auch 2 Stunden später seine Wirkung zeigte . War mein erster und letzter Besuch dort.
