Akropolis Gaststätte in Rosenheim

We're often here for lunch – fast service, reliable quality at a good price! This was my first time there in the evening. But it was just like usual – of course, the same team. 😉 The only slight drawback is that the atmosphere isn't quite as cozy and it's a bit noisy because of the large space. But the price is right.

Nice Greek restaurant. The food was good. The service was good but a bit brief. The value for money was okay.

October 2025 We were here for the first time and would love to come back. We really enjoyed the lunch menu and paid a total of €30 for two meals, including two shandys and one pita. Everything was delicious. Since we drive an electric car, we were allowed to park on the street in front of the restaurant for a total of two hours free of charge with a parking disc. Many thanks to the Söder government for this.

Super delicious food, well seasoned, good portions, attentive service

Very attentive staff, and even though it was very busy, the food came very quickly. Prices were perfectly reasonable.

There's really nothing to complain about here, but the salad was a bit bland, and the food isn't going to win any beauty contests, and there isn't as much as at other Greek restaurants. However, apart from the salad, everything was perfect and tasted absolutely outstanding. In 40 years of eating Greek food all over Germany and beyond, I've never had such a tender (!!!) souvlaki, and everything else was almost perfect, and the service was super friendly. It would be nice if there was an alternative to ouzo as an aperitif. They also serve really good Greek coffee. 🥰

I celebrated my birthday there with nine people. The staff was great and friendly. We had pita and taramas for starters. They were excellent. The main courses were delicious. The lamb, in particular, was divine. The restaurant is quite noisy due to the consistently busy crowd. Parking is difficult to find.

We happened by chance and took advantage of the very reasonably priced lunch menu. All dishes cost 9 or 10 euros. We had an Allianz plate for 10 euros. Everything was fresh and delicious. Even though the restaurant was very busy, the food was on the table in about 10 minutes.

Thanks for that. Also, a big compliment to the kitchen, they conjured up a delicious meal 🙏. The appetizers were a dream: fresh tzatziki, crispy pita, and a Greek salad with aromatic feta, all wonderfully combined. For the main course, we had the à la chef platter, which was simply unbeatable: perfectly grilled meat, juicy, tender, and full of flavor, with delicious side dishes that rounded everything off. The portions are generous and the quality is top-notch. The ambiance is also cozy and inviting; you almost feel like you're on vacation in Greece. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back! ❤️❤️❤️

We arrived spontaneously with 11 people. The host was able to put a table together. Good service and food, despite the large number of guests during the autumn festival. Highly recommended.

For health reasons, I didn't order a drink with my meal. The service (Greek) made me realize this. When I paid (I left a 20% tip), I briefly explained why. The direct response: Everything's fine, we don't have these problems! It's a shame, this restaurant is probably financially well-off, and I wish them the same. But what does respect and friendliness mean these days???

Tzatziki without pep, pulpo OK but completely different ...... somehow not Greece

An authentic Greek restaurant, the classic Greek dishes were all well prepared and we enjoyed them. They could have been a bit bolder in the presentation of the dishes here and there; in my opinion, it's no longer fashionable to add a lettuce leaf, a few slices of onion, and a tomato as decoration to every dish. The Akropolis certainly impresses with its hospitality; in an authentic Greek restaurant, a round or two of ouzo is a must.

The food was super delicious; we haven't had this good in a long time. The food came really quickly, even though it was full. The owner and waitress were also super friendly; they still gave us a seat even though it was full. So call ahead and make a reservation. 😉

A shabby table in a half-empty restaurant. The gyro chef makes me doubt the boss. Super super salty, and that means something when I say that. I ate it anyway, so I couldn't complain. Two points for my low self-esteem.

We ate there as a couple and enjoyed it! The starter was very tasty and also very plentiful. We ordered a platter for two, the meat was of very good quality, the side dishes were well presented. We've been coming to this beautiful and wonderful restaurant, Akropolis, since 1983! A welcoming family business, traditionally and romantically decorated, everything very clean! Very friendly staff, beautiful seating, and a great beer garden in the warmer months! Easily accessible, even for me, as a wheelchair user! First-class food, good value for money, generous portions! The lunch menu is particularly good value! We always love coming back, the whole family! You always have time for a few personal words! I dropped by unannounced shortly after seven in the evening and wanted a gyros with vegetables and salad, as well as a tzatziki to take away. The place was full. The boss said that this might take a while. I ordered a beer to wait and also got an Uzo. After eight minutes everything was ready, gyros great, vegetables great, salad okay, tzatziki perfect. All in all, highly recommended, next time I'll eat there with friends.

I love Greek cuisine and this restaurant is one of the best I have visited in all of Germany. It's always full and that's the best thing that shows that there is great quality there.

We dined here on Sunday at prime lunch time and the restaurant was well attended. The food came quickly and was very tasty!!! Only the side dishes to choose from would have been nicer, but since my bifteki was so huge anyway, I could only try these anyway because I was already full.

I may be spoiled but I can't find anything special about this Greek guy. Greek “classics” taste ok but that’s not worth 5 stars. Service is friendly but you can't really find out who is responsible. Average, nothing more and nothing less.

If you're in the mood for moldy food, this is the place for you. When I complained about the rotten salad, there was neither an apology nor a discount. When the waiter asked as standard when paying if we liked it and we answered, no, definitely not, he just grinned and said, we're happy about that. The fact that such a dish comes to a guest is unforgivable. It was so obvious that both the kitchen staff and the waiter should have noticed. I don't even want to think about the conditions in the kitchen.

We recently came here with a smaller group as part of a weekend stay in Rosenheim. The interior of the restaurant is attractively designed - despite its size, I found it very cozy. We would have preferred a table outside in front of the restaurant - but unfortunately this was not possible due to our group size of 7 people. We all found the dishes very tasty and aromatic - just how I imagine good Greek food to be! The hospitable service also matched this impression. I found the price-performance ratio to be very fair, including two ouzos on the house. The portion sizes were very good! Overall, I can definitely recommend the restaurant - for weekend tourists as well as regular sports groups! Thank you for the pleasant stay!

The food was delicious so far. Metaxa Sauce the spirits argue about this. It was delicious but somehow it has nothing to do with Metaxa sauce. The ambience is quite well decorated. Unfortunately, the service didn't make you feel very welcome. Very quick processing, as quickly as the food was there it was gone again. Not quite finished yet and already gone. It's a good restaurant for a quick meal, but unfortunately it doesn't have any recognition value.

Spontaneous ordering possible. Service is friendly but you don't feel like you're really welcome. The food is on the table within 10 minutes and when you are almost finished eating, the plates are gone again. Next please... However, the food was delicious....😉

I have been a guest here for over 40 years and always enjoy coming here. As always, it was very tasty and sufficient. The only flaw was that there was no tzatzikki with the plate for two people. At 43 euros for the record I would have expected that. There was a second ouzo for free. Food came quickly and was fresh and tasty. Thank you for a good 40 years and always worth a visit.
