Why only 2/5 when the food was so good? It was simply the service. After a little over 2 hours, we were informed that the time for maximum table occupancy had been reached (which only became apparent when we read the reservation confirmation again). However, as he told us at the table, the waiter asked for an extension of 30 minutes by ordering desserts. To date we had a bill of around €420 with 4 people. It sounds logical at first because it was written in the confirmation, but when you're suddenly given the choice in a good conversation over good food, "eat or go," which had never happened to me up to that point, we felt 4 us completely independent of each other, in a certain way a little offended. Accordingly, we strictly stuck to 10% when it came to tips (which from that point on was generally too much anyway) but the derailed expression on the waiter's face that followed made it seem almost outrageous. Either company philosophy is not for us or we are not for company philosophy. That's why we'll simply avoid the Aimy restaurant in the future... Food very good, the rest “poor”

We were there for lunch and ordered various dishes. The ceviche for €22 was cheeky for the mini portion. Mini spring rolls and absolute standard. The Bao Bun was ok, but not a highlight in terms of taste. Wide rice noodles with beef and broccoli were very tasty. Highly recommend the dessert mango sticky rice. Got a lot out of it. I just don't think 150€ for lunch for 2 people is justified for the performance.

Extremely poor service, the website opens at 1730, so we arrived at the restaurant at exactly 1730 but the lady said it would be open at 6 p.m., even though all the staff were there, taking into account that on the website it opens at 1730, the lady said she knew and they had to do it change :( when we asked if we could sit down and order something to drink, the lady said no and we had to wait on the street ;( complete drama

Just perfect I always ask for recommendations Sometimes it’s not worthy, but this time… Everything was great Even wine what they recommend (Riesling for 65,-e bottle) U have to try dumplings and even pad thai with tofu are great. Best Asian food in our Germany trip. Great service and food. The dumplings with truffle were spectacular. The crispy angel hair shrimp dumplings with avocado were great as well. The fried rice with mushrooms and truffle were delicious as well. Nice atmosphere.

One star deducted because the service staff's repeated sarcastic comments regarding the tip ruined what had been a successful visit to Aimy for us. My wife and I probably have to find more tips for the gentleman, maybe we should raid our children's money box for him? Would He then be satisfied? It's a shame, actually all in all a top restaurant - the service was also at a high level, apart from the comments.

Cocktails were good and the food was very good. Soft shell crab bao and seafood green curry were favourites absolutely delicious and the dumplings were also great. Unfortunately the waiter really spoiled the meal by questioning why I'd left a one euro tip. In actual fact i wasnt planning to leave that it was the change. I chose not to tip as he had no knowledge of the menu. When asking about a dish he just re read the menu back. When asked what the difference between two sakes were read the word apple and said that one was apple flavoured and the other was not. After ordering the non apple flavoured sake he took an age to come back and tell us they had no sake. Drinks took a long time full stop. Don't question why you're only getting a small tip. Learn about the dishes and the drinks. Improve your knowledge and you can help customers. We are not stupid.

The food was ok in relatively small portion. but the water was too expensive for lunch. Will recommend it for a proper dinner other than a quick lunch.

We used to go every week at noon. They have changed the menu and raised the price considerably (way, way above all the surrounding restaurants including Café Luitpold). They had already raised prices a few months ago. The previous menu was much more attractive to us (and not only because of the price) since there were more vegetarian options such as a kind of Bun with cauliflower. I wish they would go back to the old menu for fall. The service/attention/ambiance continues to be very correct.

Nice business lunch spot, close to Amazon, Condé Nast, etc. offices. Prompt service, glass noodles were very tasty. Fresh lemonade served and is popular.

Disappointing. The website and menu look exciting. The lunch menu listed a ceviche under “Light Lunch.” Good quality, but 22 EUR for a “light lunch” the size of a cereal bowl without rice is prohibitive. When asked, the waitress explained that it was a starter (22 EUR for a starter at lunch?), even though it wasn't marked as such on the lunch menu. A 0.7l bottle of still water EUR 8.20. Seriously? As soon as it got busier, the waitresses were a bit overwhelmed. Result: unfortunately never again.

It is one of the best restaurants in Munich and certainly up there as one of the best Thai restaurants in the world. Having lived in NYC for decades as well as been to Asia, California. Each dish was out of the world. The green curry was subtle yet rich and complex. The dumplings are a must, and so is the tamarind glazed meat. The truffled fried rice was too good. Go, go, go!

I think the quality of the food is worthy of the 2023 Michelin title. There are many varieties, including Saison menu The dress code requirements are not strict. One waiter may have just arrived and his service level was a bit shocking. The decoration is very Thai but I don't like it. Business is very good and there are many customers, so it’s a bit noisy.

As soon as you enter you are warmly welcomed and shown to one of the beautiful tables. The staff is extremely friendly and they give you very good advice when choosing dishes. The dishes themselves are excellent, superbly seasoned and extremely aromatic. The design of the guest room is breathtakingly beautiful, cozy and very stylish at the same time. The inner courtyard is also cozy and attractively designed.

The food and service were sensationally good. We had the menu and every course was delicious. Mailin’s service is particularly worth mentioning We felt very comfortable. Thank you for that.

Amy's Restaurant in Munich is a real highlight for all lovers of Southeast Asian cuisine. The service is first class and the staff is extremely friendly, making the visit a pleasant experience. The location of the restaurant is ideal, right in the city, making it easy to get to. The ambience is inviting and creates a cozy atmosphere. Particularly noteworthy is the delicious food, which impresses above all with its authentic Southeast Asian cuisine. The dishes are excellently prepared and offer a real taste explosion. The drinks are also very tasty and the prices are fair, which rounds off the overall package perfectly. A small downside is the parking situation in the city. It can be difficult to find a parking space, so it is advisable to park in the nearby parking garage. However, this small drawback is more than made up for by the fantastic dining experience and excellent service. Overall, Amy's Restaurant in Munich is a wonderful place to enjoy the diverse flavors of Southeast Asia. It offers a great mix of great food, friendly service and a central location. Definitely worth a visit!

Everything we had was outstanding. Flavorful and delicious. We had the green curry with chicken, beef dumplings, and Sepia and the wine suggested by the server was amazing from South Africa.

Fine dishes - charmingly served with annoying disco noise! Well, from the reservation to the payment we had contact with really friendly staff! Thank you very much for that! The menu and the selected dishes are the entrance to a little delicious paradise. There were some exceptions, but that's probably a matter of taste. In my opinion, the wine prices are excessive (at least four times the RRP). The drama is the disturbing, loud sound with disco stomp! At this level (for two with a tip around 300 euros) I want to enjoy myself and entertain myself. My requests for quieter "music" could not be fulfilled because... "The boss thinks the music creates a good atmosphere" - Sorry, "Boss" Unfortunately, you have a disturbed relationship with hospitality. There is no music that pleases all guests - so please, keep concentrating on the kitchen, its good staff and please don't scare away defenseless guests who cannot share your personal taste.

We had the tasting menu and every dish was incredible. The cocktails were unique and delicious. Service was a 10/10. The meal was worth every penny!

The seafood curry tasted very good. Unfortunately, the interpretation of the green papaya salad couldn't keep up with the Thai original. No green beans belong in it! The waitress was too hectic for me, too present, wanted to refill too early and too often. My cocktail glass was supposed to be taken away even though it still had contents. Despite all the minor deficiencies, the service and food were above average. This also justifies the high prices.

A very nice, modern and upscale restaurant in a quiet courtyard. We work with products of the highest quality and you can taste it too! There is nothing to complain about in terms of craftsmanship or taste, but the main dishes occasionally lack the “wow” effect. The service had a few hiccups. All in all, a very good address in Munich!

We had a lovely dinner at Aimy. The food is amazingly tasty, they have a lot of variety, so everyone can find something for their taste. The staff is attentive, and the atmosphere is lovely. The price point is higher, however based on the experience it’s worth it.

Last week in Munich i looked for a place for a business dinner with one of my colleagues. I knew this place from my previous trips and I remembered the good food they serve. We booked the place via OpenTable , the booking made for 5:30PM. On the website was mentioned 5:30PM as opening, and on OpenTable was 5PM. We arrived at 5:30PM and we discovered the restaurant open 6PM. We spent the time walking around the English Garden who is not far, and we came back 6PM. Our table was ready, the service good, and the food as expected - a very nice experience of taste and image. Well prepared and well presented on the plates. Overall the gastronomique experience was great, and i will try again in future this restaurant. For sure they need to update the web site to avoid any surprise for clients.

We felt welcome from the first moment. Super nice and attentive service without being intrusive. Ambience very pleasant, stylish, natural, not exaggerated. Food very tasty and well presented. Prices are completely reasonable with good portion sizes. We'd love to come back.

Sometimes you wonder why Michelin makes recommendations. Because a good restaurant not only has good cuisine, but also good service. And this service is completely missing from Aimy. The cuisine is really good and imaginative. Whether the dumplings or the spring rolls or the smoked duck with tofu or the crispy duck from the daily menu were very good, imaginatively seasoned and very inspiringly presented. The wines (a very good Marcus Schneider from the Palatinate) were also not objectionable and everything was at acceptable prices for Munich (!). But the service is reminiscent of a train station atmosphere. After two hours you have to leave your table and are asked to do so in a very decisive manner. This means that the next guests usually wait in front of the restaurant or even inside for their table. Constant coming and going, which doesn't really create a relaxed atmosphere. The food is “slammed” onto the table without any comments. Our waitress (Lee - but everyone's probably called that) was absolutely impertinent (or rather snappy and cheeky), who saw us as guests as a necessary evil and was downright happy when the next “round” was sitting at the table. Other service staff were friendly but unfortunately didn't understand German. So if you want to eat imaginative, good Asian cuisine, you're in good hands at Aimy. However, if you value calm, friendly and attentive service, you should avoid Aimy. There is still a long way to go to a very good combination.

Our visit to Aimy Restaurant was fantastic. The food was excellent and impressed with its fresh and original Asian taste - every dish was a pleasure. The waitresses were extremely friendly and attentive, especially when refilling the drinks. The cozy ambience also contributed to the feel-good atmosphere. Our waitress Maily was particularly accommodating and answered all of our questions. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

Very friendly service, very tasty food. It's also very nicely decorated, but the modern club music is a bit annoying in the long run.

The evening started brilliantly with the reception. The food was also fantastic, really a big compliment to the kitchen. We were able to move indoors due to heavy rain and thunderstorms. The problem was that our waiter stopped paying attention to us inside. We sat for about 40 minutes and waited to order drinks and also dessert. Unfortunately we then had to pay and leave because we no longer felt like we were being paid attention to at all. It's a shame for this great restaurant if the service isn't up to par.

Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't meet my expectations – the place is nice, the service is more than wonderful, but I wasn't impressed with the food. I was eager to try their Pad Thai, but it wasn't to my taste. Unfortunately, it's not my kind of place.

Very tasty food with extremely attentive service. I would recommend for an intimate dinner as well as a group night out.

This was hands down the best meal I've ever had. The spicy beef tartare is perfectly seasoned and it comes with additional spicy seasoning which really adds a special touch. For the main dish I had a seasonal smoked duck breast with sweet potatoes and hoi berry sauce. The flavors complement each other perfectly, I was left speechless.

Expensive doesn't have to be good. Here it is, however: fine Asian cuisine in an upscale atmosphere with outstanding staff. Customer like: “Business lunch!” We're like, "Asian food in Munich? It can only go wrong again..." Aimy says: "And here we offer very good Asian cuisine for good money..." Recommended. Two small criticisms: the spiciness is optimized for weak people and the espresso was terrible. But otherwise everything was really right. We will be back!

I had the pleasure of visiting Aimy recently and was treated to impeccable service and first class food from start to finish. The welcome was warm and welcoming, and the staff were extremely attentive and professional. They were always present without being intrusive and gave detailed explanations about the dishes. What was particularly impressive was the creativity in the menu, which combined traditional Asian ingredients with innovative techniques. Every dish was a taste explosion. The highlight of the evening, however, was the service. The staff was not only efficient, but also warm and friendly. They made us feel like we were the only guests in the restaurant and made the experience very special. Overall, my visit to "Aimy" was a great experience. Perfect service, exquisite food and a relaxed atmosphere. I can't wait to come back.

Restaurant found on the Michelin guide. Beautiful setting. Ordinary Asian food. Very annoying to be asked for the tip by the waiter. Addition to 127€, we had put 150 on the plate, he was offended that we did not want to leave him 23€ tip. So he got zero. What a shame to ask like that!…

Für die Jungen, die Yuppies, die Lautredner, die Ausgeflippten ist das der «place to be», falls diese nebenbei noch etwas Fernöstliches essen möchte. Die Küche bietet durchweg lecker zubereitete, kreative, vor allem thailändische Gerichte, die in passenden Portionen gereicht werden und zum Teilen gut geeignet sind. Die Weinkarte ist attraktiv. Der Service präsentiert sich sehr professionell, nahe am Gast und humorvoll. Leider wurde uns eine Flasche Wein für rund € 50 fälschlicherweise für € 100 berechnet und wir verliessen das Lokal nach eineinhalb Stunden mit Kopfschmerzen wegen der unerträglichen musikalischen Beschallung.

A great restaurant, quietly located, central, nice ambience, well-kept, clean, a little cramped, good food, but the soup is standard. Unfortunately the service wasn't great with long waiting times. It's a shame, I would have expected more for such a restaurant with a star. Unfortunately, the word service is often in short supply in this city compared to restaurants in Asia or southern Europe. Therefore 4 stars for the food and ambience, 2 stars for the service. So 3 in total.

A very nice atmosphere. In terms of service, there were minor weaknesses in terms of friendliness, but nothing major. Unfortunately there was a big discrepancy with the starters. While the spicy tartare was highly recommended, the vegetarian dumplings were unfortunately not. They didn't seem pan-fried, although advertised as such, and were almost tasteless. What a shame! My main course, beef and asparagus, was again satisfactory. I would definitely give the Aimy a second chance, even if the dumplings really disappointed me.

Ein sehr nettes Ambiente. Service-technisch gab es geringfügige Schwächen in Sachen Freundlichkeit, aber nichts Wildes. Bei den Vorspeisen gab es leider eine große Diskrepanz. Während das spicy-Tatar sehr empfehlenswert war, galt das für die vegetarischen Dumplings leider nicht. Sie wirkten nicht pan-fried, obwohl so angepriesen, und waren fast geschmacksneutral. Sehr schade! Meine Hauptspeise, beef and asparagus, war dann wieder zufriedenstellend. Ich würde dem Aimy in jedem Fall rine zweite Chance geben, auch wenn die Dumplings mich sehr enttäuscht haben.

Excellent food and stylish ambience. Absolutely recommended. However, due to its location in the courtyard, the outdoor area is not quite as nice for a summer dinner as the restaurant inside.

Das Aimy ist ein angenehmes Restaurant für einen entspannten Business Lunch. Sehr leckere Curries (v.a. Red und Massaman), hervorragende Ente, sehr freundlicher Service. Man sitzt etwas eng und der Geräuschpegel ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber das Aimy ist ohne Wenn und Aber eine klare Empfehlung.

Sehr frisches, gutes Essen, hervorragend zubereitet mit sehr spannenden thailändischen Saucen. Sehr freundlicher Service ansprechendes Ambiente. Wein ganz schön teuer, nicht unter 45 €. Das Essen ist mittags durchaus bezahlbar. Sehr gute Gerichte für 20 €. Was es abends kostet, weiß ich nicht.

All the dishes are tasty, no complaints. We highly recommend this restaurant. Friendly and available staff despite the number of people. Remember to book as few places are available on weekends. We will come back

Rain is a great culinary experience. The food is exceptionally prepared and tastes really good. The ambience is stylishly furnished and clean, but the music is too loud and gives the feeling of a club rather than a romantic restaurant. The biggest negative point, however, is the weak service, which just seems to wander around haphazardly. You wait a long time for your order. The waiters mix up the tables and bring the wrong things to the table. Not everything that is on the wine list, for example, is actually available. It even seems as if the waiter deliberately wanted to offer a more expensive alternative. The manager Laura is not open to criticism and does not accept feedback, according to the motto: "Yes, we don't care if you are satisfied. Even if you pay several hundred euros, we still have customers who pay even more. We don't need you." Pretty outrageous, tact is out of place. Overall, great food, but not value for money at all. You would expect a little more at these conditions. Absolutely not recommended.

A bit cramped place. We had made a reservation for 9 p.m. on Saturday evening and arrived an hour early. No problem: After a short wait at the bar, we got a table in the middle of the restaurant. The narrowness takes some getting used to. You are constantly being brushed against by people passing by. The cocktails from the bar were pretty strong. As a starter we had dumplings with shrimp: an absolute poem. As a main course, vegetarian Pad Thai and a crispy duck. We actually wanted smoked duck, but it was already out. Food and service really top. Ambience dark and dense.

I had an opportunity to go to there as part of an event. It was an amazing food experience. We had many starts and many dishes to share, and a delicious desert. The staffs are very friendly, they are all the times refilling your glass and being very responsive. The atmosphere is also gorgeous. It definitely deserves another visit.

I have been going to Aimy, since they have opened. I have been returning multiple times a year, and considered this to be one of the best restaurants in Munich. Unfortunately i can no longer recommend this. Since my last visit in November, the food quality has gone down drastically. The service is mediocre, the food nothing special and the tastes no where close to what they once were. We had the Wagyu Carpaccio that was unseasoned and tasteless, in fact this could have been a regular carpaccio with no seasoning. WE had the beef foie gras dumplings, which were so overpowering in their taste, that we were not sure what this combination was. As mains we had the beef short rib, that was so beefy and was insanely overpowering, like biting a cow in the butt. Another party had the the smoked grilled duck, that was 100% not smoked locally but was bought pre smoked and the warmed up. The taste resembled old ham. All in all incredibly unhappy with this experience with a price tag this high. After raising this to the staff, we had a message delivered to us rom the cook, that the problem is not the food but our taste. I very much doubt as mentioned priorly weve been going to this restaurant for years. And also are food critics. I very much hope that this will return to its former quality, but with the partner restaurants in town having gone through a similar change within about 2 years of opening, i have very little hope for this. 450€ wasted.

Every visit to Aimy is like a little adventure for me. With each dish I start a relaxed journey of discovery through the flavors of Southeast Asia, served fresh and with a personal touch. The Mai Tai is more than just a drink, it is a flavor explosion that perfectly balances tradition and innovation. The Tuna Tatar, sometimes served as a taco, sometimes as a quesadilla, is an absolute delight every time. For me, the octopus dishes are the ultimate in variety and taste, just as unforgettable as the spicy Laarb Gai. For the main courses, I swear by the Black Cod or the Seafood Curry - both are the stars of the menu for me. The specials, which change regularly, always offer me a pleasant surprise and are the reason I keep coming back. It is the combination of the chic ambience, the friendly staff and the always inspiring culinary creations that make Aimy my favorite restaurant in Munich.

Unfortunately I felt nauseous after eating, the tofu tasted old and the egg also tasted strange. My partner, on the other hand, was happy with his fish. Unfortunately my experience was bad. The service was ok but a bit annoying, seemed very fake and un-relaxed.

The best dining spot in this establishment is the table set for 3 with the cozy armchairs. We highly recommend trying the "Phuket seafood tower for 2," which, in fact, was perfect for three people. The standout pieces of the seafood tower were the fried soft-shell crab and the noodles with baked glazed black cod fish.

I loved this place. The food was great. Especially the lobster, which was prepared two different ways. Absolutely delicious! And the caramelized banana dessert at the end made it even better. The only reason I would complain about this restaurant would be the service. My waiter was very nice, but there was a man who pointed and asked me to leave the table as he didn't know I had ordered dessert and thought I was blocking the place for too long. Despite the great food, I won't be coming back.
