If you say service, they don't care at all. Let the money come.

First of all: the food was OK. Not more. Everything else was terrible and they really went out of their way to make us feel unwelcome and taken seriously. They sat us down at a table only to ignore us and serve other guests who came after us (and were obviously acquaintances). We almost had to beg for the card. The order was then taken after 20 minutes. The food arrived late and incorrect - and after 51 minutes (yes, we timed it) for two loveless plates of lahmacun. They serve a small lahmacun split down the middle as two. There were also raw onions (not even dressed with sumac) and iceberg lettuce. The Lahmacun gods would be angry. The pide I ordered didn't come. We gave up and paid angrily. Never again! There was a reason why this place had a lot of seats available during rush hour.

With every bite my will to live diminished. You feel like you're being watched. It's really not worth eating here

The ambience of the store is really nice, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We had to remind the waiter several times to process our orders as he was often distracted doing other things. We ordered two main courses and two soups, the soups arrived in 30 minutes and the main course didn't arrive at all. After an hour the waiter came to me and said that the main course would take another 10 minutes. Then I canceled the two main courses and didn't have to wait any longer and left. I DIDN'T FEEL WELCOME!!!

We ordered Iskender, it came in a cast iron container with 2 rows of Adana meatballs on top of a layer of rusks that we couldn't tell whether it was burnt pita bread or bread. We said, this is not iskender kebab. They said we don't serve iskender kebab anymore. Without further ado, we ate half-burnt Adana kebab. This experience explained why we could easily find a place here when the surrounding kebab restaurants were full.

I wouldn't even give it one star, that was an absolute disgrace! We ordered our food and I got my soup with bread. When I bit into it, I found a cockroach! We told the waiter immediately, but instead of apologizing or taking the problem seriously, he acted like it was completely normal. He just brought us new bread - no apology, nothing. We thought, okay, maybe a one-off incident, but when the main course came, it was cold, inedible and partly raw - we didn't eat it! We wanted to just leave and just pay for the drinks but the waiter insisted that we also pay for the disgusting food. He didn't want to believe that we had actually found a cockroach and wanted to make us feel stupid for something else. There was an unnecessary discussion until we finally spoke to the boss. We told him what had happened, trying to sort it out calmly, but he just sent us out and said he didn't want anyone to notice what was going on. That was the height! We will definitely report this to the health department, because something like that just doesn't work

I was here last week, I'm giving this one star because I have to. I've never had such bad service and, above all, the food was below the standard that the neighbors offer. It's a shame, with so many walk-in customers and excellent restaurants in the neighborhood, I would honestly have thought that they would adapt accordingly. Conclusion: I'm not coming back and so you learn to appreciate the star ratings so that you don't experience such a failure. If I had read the reviews I would have saved myself the failure.

We don't recommend it to anyone. There was hardly any welcome. Service very poor. The employees were generally very strange and uninterested. We were a group of five and we all ordered "Iskender". Instead of Iskender, we simply got two Adanas placed on rolls without any explanation, even though we expressly said that we wanted typical Iskender. We wanted to avoid conflicts and for this reason we continued to eat, but unfortunately it wasn't particularly appetizing in terms of taste. The meat was very tough and tasteless. After we were almost finished eating, the waiter asked us if we wanted the extra bread, which he apparently forgot to serve. By the way, we would also like to mention that an employee followed our friend to the toilet and then sought out a private conversation there, which was not appropriate in such a situation.

Food was very boring - no to hardly any spices, no spiciness at all in the Adana..Rice and fries were okay - lavash bread finished product from the production didn't taste good. Service was extremely overwhelmed - plates were on the table for about 20 minutes after consumption and were only cleared away after payment. There were six of us in the restaurant and unfortunately the visit didn't go smoothly. While ordering, the waiter left twice without warning, making the process unnecessarily difficult. A dish was initially brought incorrectly and then completely forgotten. The overall quality of the food was unfortunately below the standard we expected. A disappointing experience that we cannot recommend.

Wouldn't go there again, we sat next to the stairs in a seat for two, the stairs go down to the toilet and the cleaning product from the toilets downstairs could be smelled all the way to our seat upstairs, that's not possible!!! Very unappetizing we could hardly enjoy our food! The taste of the food was ok, the fries were too hard and the side salad was completely unseasoned, the salad was too coarse! Nice furnishings but it's no use if the rest isn't right.

Hello everyone, I went to Adana for dinner with my friends today and I have to be honest: we had to wait a long time for our order. I ordered menu 093 and it wasn't worth the price at all. I only got two skewers of kebab with half a tomato and a green pepper on the plate. Also, I found a little hair in my food! That's why I only give you 2 stars.

We were in Adana last weekend, more precisely on Saturday evening. We spent several hours there, so we were able to get a good impression. I can't understand another reviewer's comment that alcohol is sold here. I haven't been told anywhere that this isn't the case. Expressing horror is beyond ridiculous and should be ignored. Everyone is free not to consume alcohol and I say this because I hardly ever drink anything myself and I still felt very good there. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. If you love the Balkans, Adana is certainly not the worst place to go. From 10 p.m. you could enjoy live music, perhaps a bit loud for older audiences, but then at least you don't need to turn on your hearing aids :-) In the end it was several hours and everyone was more than satisfied. The service was friendly, although it could have been a bit more attentive in places, but a quick wave always led to success. However, this is no reason for me/us to devalue it. The bad recession regarding food is incomprehensible. I had the Adana Kebap, the meat (minced) seemed fresh and was pleasantly seasoned. My companions had poultry and I didn't hear any complaints from them either. The grilled vegetables are bland, yes you have to say that, but there is salt, pepper, herbs (I assume coriander) and chili flakes on the table. Don't know why this is perceived as negative. I don't know anyone who puts seasoned vegetables on the grill, they usually only do it afterwards and in Adana it is left to the guest. Why should this be negative? The starter, in turn, various dips (hummus, peppers, chopped tomatoes, etc.) were very well prepared and we (a group of four people) enjoyed it very much with the freshly baked bread. The main courses arrived at the table warm and, combined with the shared starter, the portions were adequate. Everyone at the table was more than full. The prices are due to the current situation and market developments, so I would at least rate it completely neutrally. It's certainly not the cheapest restaurant in Mannheim city center, but cheap isn't always good either. Considering the live music in the evenings, I think the prices are okay. If you want to treat yourself to an entertaining evening on Friday or weekend, Adana is not the worst location in Mannheim. This way you should be able to get involved in the southern mentality and hospitality. And if you're afraid of having to wait too long for a seat, let's tell you a little secret - you've heard of making a reservation :-) We were definitely very satisfied and enjoyed the evening to the fullest. With this in mind, we would be happy to come by again.

I ask you to change the dishes and not serve chipped plates

We came from Norway to Mannheim, the beautiful city of Germany, for my nephew's bride to be celebration. We chose Adana Mannheim, the first restaurant that attracted attention, to have our dinner and have fun with music. The staff were very friendly and professional; There was nothing missing from our table and we were extremely pleased with our meals. Their chefs are really successful in this regard. The atmosphere of the business was also very warm and friendly. The musicians' performance was extremely professional. I would like to thank them once again and wish them good luck.

There is a gentleman among the staff, the waiter is tall with white hair. I definitely recommend you to pay attention to his bill. Because the same thing happened to me and my friend, he makes too much bill and normally I would ask for a bill.

The food "Iskender" was the worst I've ever eaten and Ayran as well, was anything but an Ayran, tasted like a mixture of Actimel and kefir. The portion of the Iskender was also an insult to me as a customer, so charging 17.50 for that is an outrage. I would have loved to send everything back and run out. Good Turkish grill restaurant in Mannheim city center. Here you can eat delicious cold and warm starters, grilled specialties from the charcoal grill and desserts. It is also the only restaurant in Kleinistanbul Mannheim that serves alcohol.

I was there at an Iftar, ordered a grilled plate with chicken and lamb, unfortunately the food was cold, and for about €19 there was very very little on the plate, 4 pieces per skewer, cold and not tender, dry. Rice very dry and a crust had already formed on the top, probably from yesterday! There were as many fries as my 10 fingers, and very few onions, the plate felt like they had taken the leftovers from customers and put them together on my plate. It's a shame for €19, I would have expected a little more. And it was cold at least where we sat.

The atmosphere is very inviting and the live acts offer a successful evening with their great music. The food is served in generous and beautifully presented portions. My favorite here is the meat platter with a künefe to finish. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed. We ordered 3 dishes. One dish came, we waited 30 minutes for the other 2 dishes. Unfortunately it wasn't worth the wait. The meat was cold and difficult to cut. For €18.90 you would expect a full plate, but this wasn't the case either. Plus, we had a seat by the door, which isn't so bad. However, the door was open the whole time and it was very cold. According to employees, there is nothing they can do about it.

Hello I came to the restaurant on a recommendation. So the food is really very good. Ate an Adana and lamb skewer. The Adana is the best I have eaten in Mannheim. Lamb kebabs are solid. But the interior design and the alcohol sales are an absolute disaster. Old alcohol bottles as candlesticks?! Really, I've never seen anything as ugly and scary as Count Dracula. And everything was dark and it was cold. As I said, the food was great, but unfortunately I won't eat here again because of the alcohol sales.
