Abi's Restaurant &Bar in Meinerzhagen

Closed since April, no indication on the homepage, no reference to the band announcement on the phone. No corresponding automatic answer to emails. Not changed the opening times on Google. Extra half an hour drove, thanks for nothing. Unprofessional.

Many thanks to Abi for this wonderful evening. We visited the restaurant as a couple for the first time, and I don't know of any other restaurant in and around Meinerzhagen that I can recommend as highly for a successful evening for two. Here, you're more than just a guest. Abi makes it easy to feel like you're part of the family. He takes a lot of time to explain his food and drinks, and I really learned a lot. I'm sure there will be many more visits to come, and we'd be happy to stay. Best regards, Vera and Ronny

Extremely unfriendly. I wanted to pop in quickly because a flyer on display had piqued my interest, and was immediately rudely told to ask before touching anything. It's common knowledge that you shouldn't touch flyers without express permission, let alone read them. I don't think they like customers very much here. I think you should do the owner a favor and not come here. We actually briefly considered eating here, but things like this quickly put a damper on your appetite.

We had a lovely time at Abi's with great food and delicious drinks. Marlin provided excellent service! 👏🏻The food was not only exceptional, but unparalleled in the area. We'd love to come back! 😌 The chef is the flagship of the restaurant.

We have never been treated as rudely as by Abi. After the parade started at the shooting festival on Monday, we saw guests drinking wine in the restaurant. We then asked a lady inside if we could also order a glass. After consulting with Abi, she said yes. He sold us 2 glasses of white wine for €8 each. After standing for a while, a table for two became available right in front of the entrance. There was a filled and correspondingly smelling ashtray. We didn't want to leave this on the table because of the smell. Abi recognized this and snapped at us that the ashtray remained on the table, mind you, a table for two people, occupied by two non-smokers. To avoid the smell, we place the ashtray on the balustrade directly at the table. After a while Abi appeared again, we hadn't finished drinking yet, but that didn't matter, with the message that he would now close. He also told us in a very aggressive tone that "if we came again, the ashtray would remain on the table!!!". In addition, it wasn't even open and the wine costs €9 per glass. Don't worry, Abi, we won't come again. However, we didn't understand the aggressive reaction. We asked if we could get a glass of wine, we were told the price, but we couldn't find it anywhere. The bottom line is that in many decades, no matter where in the world, we have never been treated so outrageously in the catering industry. Unfortunately, why remains unclear.

Abi is a cool guy with the right nose for good food. We really enjoyed the evening overall. The food was ultra delicious, his own wine makes the taste buds tremble. We'll be back! :)

Klein, gemütliches Ambiente und ein sehr freundlicher Chef, der sein Handwerk versteht. Top Qualität und einfach lecker.

Fabelhaft ! Außergewöhnliche , leckere Gerichte. Auch auf spezielle Kundenwünsche wird eingegangen. Jetzt Im Sommer ist das Ambiente draußen herrlich. Eine kleine aber tolle Karte. Wer mal etwas anderes als Schnitzel und co.essen möchte, ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Nur zu empfehlen.

Abi's ist ein sehr gelungenes kleines Bistro direkt in der meinerzhagener Innenstadt. Es gibt einige wenige schön positionierte Tische direkt in der Fußgängerzone, sowie einen übersichtlichen Innenbereich. Da ich für meine Frau und mich etwas besonderes wollte, habe ich zwei Tage zuvor angerufen und gefragt ob man Trüffel besorgen könnte. Dazu einen kleinen Aperitif und mehr Vorgaben haben ich nicht gemacht. Daraus hab Abi zwei fantastische Gänge gezaubert die so nicht auf der Karte zu finden waren. Abgerundet wurde das ganze durch eine Flasche von seinem Hauswein. Ein leicht kantiger, aber gut harmonierender Rosé aus deutscher Rebe. Preis-Leistung ist absolut unschlagbar und das ganze Konzept eine dringend notwendige Ergänzung zur kulinarischen Vielfalt in Meinerzhagen. Eine absolute Empfehlung von mir! Gerne wieder.

Klein aber fein. Gilt für das kleine Lokal und die Karte. Die Anzahl der Gerichte ist übersichtlich aber sowohl interessant, weil nicht alltäglich und überall zu bekommen, als auch sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Die Portionen sehen nicht nur gut aus sondern schmecken und sind ausreichend um satt zu werden. Das Lokal kann ich leider nur empfehlen...
