The food is sooooo delicious. You are so kind. The plates are sooo well filled. And you are sooo cheap. A real insider tip for everyone who loves Indian food. (Me as a tourist: It is really authentic and very tasty). P.S. If you really want it spicy, let us know when you order. (Starter, main course and mango lassi, all together under 20 euros - really cool)

I suspect they may have a new chef. I ate there today and it's the worst meal I have ever eaten at Abirams. In the next few weeks, I will go there again and if the quality has not improved, then I will stop eating there.

Even after 10 years, still a perfect and very tasty Indian. The food was very tasty and was brought to the table quickly. The service was very friendly

Disappointing if you love Indian food. In keeping with this, the impossible owner, completely unfriendly, shouldn't work with people - he doesn't know much about food either.

We love Abiram's! Everything is freshly prepared and many vegan options, individual special requests are catered for. We particularly like the family atmosphere.

Attention allergy sufferers!! For the sake of your health, avoid this store! The Kellern is either ignorant or incompetent in these matters. Both really bad! Upon express notice!!! due to intolerances and repeated inquiries!!! The waiter will serve you dishes that will blow your mind. Same in my case. A nice family evening turned into a health drama! The map also shows allergens, but these do not correspond to reality!!! It should also be mentioned that the waiter seems very annoyed and doesn't manage to add cutlery, let alone show insight into his mistakes. The highlight was that we of course had to pay for the meal in full, even though logically we all missed the meal.

We were there with 4 people. We specifically ordered gluten-free food for one person. But food containing gluten was served without any notice. We've completely lost our appetite. We still had to pay for 4 people. There was no awareness of allergens or gluten. We were poorly served.

Written in February 2024: Small but nice. It was my first time here. Before that I had only used the delivery service. The food is delicious every time. The portions are very sufficient. The prices here are still cheap compared to others. We were served very friendly and quickly on site. We felt good.

I used to work “around the corner” and we often went to dinner here on Fridays. Every meal was always perfect. My particular favorite is #73 on the menu (Batakh Special). However, in 2008 we moved the company to the outskirts of the city, so I could no longer go there as easily. We haven't lived in Berlin for over 10 years. Don't let the rather simple ambience put you off, the food is (I assume) still divine. My wife (a trained chef) can now recreate “my” No. 73 in almost the original way. When we go to the capital again I will test it again. The prices are also very affordable. My favorite was once (in 2007) €7.50, now €10.50 which is completely fine.

If you are thinking of ordering food from here, don't. After waiting for one and a half hour I called the store and they couldn't tell me what is happening, because supposedly the driver was not theirs. So I had to contact the delivery system where they told me that driver is actually from the restaurant so they couldn't do anything. After a while my order got cancelled. Such a mess. And I know this is coming from me being super annoyed and hungry. Just think twice if you want to order from here, it might not even be delivered because they have a ghost deliverer

Worst service . Waiters are really rude and not in their senses. Really not happy with the food ( stale food ) and the poor service .

Richtig schlecht. Lieferung über Lieferando bestätigt und auf Nachfrage nach 2h wurde am Telefon gesagt, Lieferando klappt nicht und man soll lieber über Wolt bestellen. Leider kein Angebot schnell zu helfen oder irgendwas und direkt nach dem Telefonat erfolgte die Stornierung über Lieferando. Die Bestellung muss also doch im Restaurant angekommen oder sichtbar gewesen sein. Schade, aber dann probieren wir den Laden doch nicht aus.

Ate here twice while staying in Berlin and had a great experience both times. The food was very good, the staff is very friendly and the service was excellent. The portions are very generous and great value for the price. Definitely recommend the samosas and the various chicken and veggie curries.

Worst food experience in Berlin! Firstly, we ordered bhatooora but got served tandoori chicken. Then, I was served rice with sauces i.e ketchup and mayo which is the most weird combination of food I have very tried. Also the tandoori chicken was very different from what you get served in authentic restaurant! I would definitely not recommend this place

The rudest and worst waiter I have ever encountered. Sexist. Bad mannered. Then got both our drinks and food order wrong. Refused to take payment from a woman. A shame because the food was good.

Nice spot for a curry! Very generous portion, my naan never arrived though. I did not leave hungry.

Ich gehe seit 2000 ins Abirams, denn da wurde es eröffnet. Das Essen ist immer super lecker und auch sehr preiswert. Räume und Toiletten sind immer sehr gepflegt, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Wenn Freunde mit mir in ein anderes indisches Restaurant wollen, müssen sie mir erst versichern, dass sie das Restaurant kennen und es gut ist. Ansonsten will in nämlich lieber ins Abirams!

Leider war das Personal sehr unfreundlich. Ich würde das Restaurant nicht empfehlen und werde selber nicht hingehen. Es gibt unzählige bessere indische Restaurants in Berlin.

I went here because of the good reviews. The naan/breads have a lot of yeast in them that you can smell it even without eating it. The food is average. The fish gravy was good while the fish itself felt as though it was old. The chicken was good.

Food was excellent, would go there definitely again

very expensive and very little to choose from. Most dishes were expensive ~ 15 Euro.

We went there on 28 Sunday (Culture of Carnival) and found most of the items were not there. But the worst part was they have a new menu with price increases (more than 50%) on most items. This is really bad that they decided to exploit the situation when we celebrate our cultures.

To be honest Abiram restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is super delicious.

Wir saßen bereits 10min und erst auf Nachfrage wurde unsere Bestellung vom Kellner entgegengenommen. Nach weiteren 30min wurden die Gäste neben uns (die nach und kamen) bedient, aber nichtmal unsere Vorspeise war in Sicht. Nach erneuten Nachfragen teilte man uns mit unsere Bestellung vergessen zu haben. Wir wurden gefragt was wir bestellt hatten und bekamen unser Essen dann nach 20. Wir haben also insgesamt 1h auf unser Essen gewartet. Vorort waren wir, insgesamt mit dem Pärchen neben uns, zu viert und wir wurden dennoch vergessen. Nicht besonders schön. Das Essen war okay die Kellner nett. Sehr viel Fleisch. Dafür gibts die zwei Sterne. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder. Schade.

Very delicious South Indian dishes

Super gutes Essen und sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Das Fleisch wird herrlich zubereitet, das Hähnchen vom Chicken Vindaloo ist zart und nicht extrem scharf, wie ich mehrmals erlebt habe. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Nice restaurant with reasonable price.

Kellner hat einen Teil unserer Bestellung nicht mit ausgeteilt und beim bezahlen mit uns dadrüber diskutiert, einfach unhöflich. Bedienung hat sich jahrelang Zeit gelassen. Essen war zwar gut aber zum Vorort essen einfach nicht zu empfehlen.

Small but cosy Indian restaurant. Mostly used for picking up food, but upstairs a relatively quiet and nice place to eat in. Had a good vegan mixed vegetable curry with papadums and a large beer for 13 eur, so good value for money in Berlin these days.

Ayurvedischer 102.Bathura Ich kenne immer vom indische Restaurant das Essen in Kopfer Teller und Topfe kommt aber heute war anders alles in eine Teller (Salat, suße und Reis) ich will nicht dazu sagen aber ich bin nur anders gewohnt. Das Brot war lecker und mit dicke Teig (hat uns gefallen) Getränke ist Geschmack sache, war neu für mich Der Kellner war Nett.

The food was nothing special. It was good. The bathroom was very clean. We asked the waiter to recommend chicken dishes, he had a rigid behaviour and later he told us he was vegetarian and then somewhat reluctantly gave his recommendations. This behaviour was usually from my perspective.

Ist mein Lieblings Inder, Selbstabholen ist günstiger als Lieferdienst, das beinhaltet natürlich auch die Bestellung im Laden aufgeben. Ok Oldshool und nicht Hip aber mach das schon immer so und jeder Gang macht schlank

The perception of the quality of the food here, seems to depend a lot on where you are from: I (German) actually quite liked the food. The sauces had a lot of vegetables in it and also the Naan was good. My friend from India however was not satisfied at all, saying that the food reminded him of what he would get when being on an Indian airplane. We were both a little bit irritated that the dishes came on a plate, as if not expecting people to share, when Indian food is usually so great for sharing. We got additional plates though, so that we were able to share easily enough. So as conclusion: Great place for people not used to the Indian cuisine, as it fells kind of 'germanized'. Not so great place maybe for people from India.

Leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir hatten ein Auberginencurry mit Erbsen, leider war das Gemüse alles andere als frisch. Echt schade, dass man in hier altes Essen serviert bekommt. Wir können das Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen.

Comida em boa quantidade, pedi Chicken Curry - pq foi a única coisa que entendi do cardápio 😂 - e achei bom, esperava um tempero mais marcante. Veio rápido, mesa na rua, paguei 12 euros pelo prato + uma Coca-Cola.

Wirklich gutes Essen in ordentlicher Menge zu einem günstigen Preis. Man sollte bedenken, dass das Essen wirklich scharf ist, wenn man scharf bestellt (hatte die Nr. 52 (Curry mit Gemüse) in scharf). Das Essen kam sehr schnell und die Toilette war sauber. Die Bedienung war in Ordnung. Wenn man mal schnell etwas essen will, bestens geeignet.

Literally the worst indian food I have ever tasted. We should have known! 7 of us went in. The seats were wonky - there was flies everywhere. The waiter was completely unprofessional and rude. Literally threw the plates in front of us. Most importantly the food is as truly awful. I mean it. I feel sick. All 7 people felt the same. I would not leave a review unless I thought others need to know. Atrocious and it should be shut down!! Makes know sense the have so many positive reviews. Not genuine I imagine! I feel sick.

i just love the food there and the really friendly guy who runs the place. Its fresh and clean indian food and you can see into the open kitchen. Its not the place for a fancy full blown dinner, rather a really nice quick lunch and take away place.

Fantastic service, wonderful food

A nice and cozy place for Indian meals. The ordered dishes (Chicken Khumbi i.e. Chicken with mushrooms, and Chicken Jalfrezi) were served with a portion of rice and salad. One platter can serve as a complete meal for a single person, depending on your appetite. Flavourful food, customization (scharf) was possible. People (Germans & Turkish) were also enjoying chickpea curry, samosas, and pakoras here 😋.
