We love the ABACO Steakhouse in Kontal-Münchingen and have been here so many times – every time it's a great experience! The steak cooked on the hot stone is always a highlight and simply prepared to perfection. The service is also very good. Sure, sometimes you have to wait a little longer, but when you're finally served, everything is just right. You can tell the passion that goes into the work here. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this steakhouse!

It was my very first time at Abacco's Steakhouse. I hadn't heard of the concept of cooking your own food before. But it was interesting to try it myself. That way, you could practically taste every bite at a different level of doneness. Overall, I liked everything and enjoyed it. However, I found the clientele to be more upscale than average. At least, that's what the dress code of the other guests led me to believe. I had a strange feeling because everyone else was dressed so smartly and I was more casual. May 13, 2023

Food, ambience and the menu were top top top. But I would particularly like to highlight the service, especially Semra! A service person who, as soon as you greet her, you can see that she does her job with all her heart. She has served us several times and this time I just had to praise her. Be careful when booking because we found ourselves in the restaurant annex: a veranda heated by patio heaters. Our disappointment was all the greater as we had to cross the “real” restaurant (very beautiful) to be seated at a simple garden table without the slightest comfort! The welcome was not the warmest unlike the friendly and smiling person who took care of our table. As for the dishes, simple grills for very high prices and even more so since the accompaniments are extra (with the exception of fries). In addition, we left with the smell of grease on our clothes and hair. In short, really really disappointed with this choice which ruined our last day of vacation.

Terrible service Was told kitchen was closed the time was 22:40 it states steaks are available till 23:30on the website on top of that the waitress and kitchen staff got themselves some drinks and went to enjoy them in the kitchen this was the first and last time here

It was very crowded, the food, salads and side dishes were nothing special. Salad was not fresh in my opinion, very dry and strange somehow. Meat was good. Service very friendly and attentive. What bothered me was the strong smell in the restaurant and on my clothes afterwards. Atmosphere and ambience is a matter of taste, I find it too dark and overpriced.

Abacvos Steakhouse has by far the best quality meat on offer. The hot stone is a great idea, everyone grills their meat at the table. All of the food is very good. Unfortunately, after another attempt, we decided to go to Stuttgart because the service there was more attentive. Some of the food is always forgotten, we were there with a vegetarian who waited 1 1/2 hours for the potato casserole and went home hungry. Last time we waited for the reorder and drink intake. It's a shame, because we loved being here.

A very, very great restaurant. The workers were very friendly and helpful, and the food was 10/10! The Black Tiger prawns and Argentine fillet were delicious, and the choice of butter did not disappoint. A little tip: definitely order the apple pie for dessert, it's by far the best I've ever eaten!!

I had dinner at a steakhouse with a colleague and it was a real experience. The highlight was the meat served on a hot stone platter - an impressive concept that made the experience even more special. There were also crispy fries and various sauces, which were provided free of charge. The quality of the meat was outstanding – perfectly marbled, juicy and full of flavor. The ambience and service were also convincing: warm, attentive and completely pleasant. You feel welcome, can enjoy the food to the fullest and just have a great time. A visit that I can definitely recommend!

I made a reservation two weeks before Valentine's Day, but when we arrived my reservation couldn't be found. After waiting for a while, we were finally shown to our table – or more precisely, to the beer tent. I could hardly believe my eyes. If you're looking for a beer tent atmosphere at high prices, you've come to the right place. For me, however, one thing is certain: Even though I have been here several times, I won't be coming back. Endless waiting times, poor service and, to top it off, a cold beer tent - just embarrassing.

The Abacco in Korntal is a good steakhouse which is also located within a hotel. Steaks that taste good and in combination with the hot stone are almost an event. Despite the many guests and occupied tables, the service was good. You should definitely reserve a table via Google in advance. Not cheap in price but still good in terms of meat quality and selection. Good wines to choose from. I enjoy coming here regularly. Keep it up!

Been here for the first time and really recommended. The quality of the meat was top! The fries were bland and nothing special - they could be improved. Service friendly and accommodating - 1 star deducted because no one explained how to use the hot plate correctly. Or whether you even know the concept.

We had 2 caprese and 2 portions of sweet potato fries. Vegetarian alternatives are also missed there and you have to put together your main meal from side dishes. I would have liked to eat another steak, but unfortunately you can't have your food served on a plate instead of on a hot stone, so I decided against it. This was also due to the fact that the restaurant was not equipped for this type of concept with heavily smoking hot stones, as there is almost no ventilation. And since I didn't want to smell like a commercial kitchen, I decided against it. The Caprese was also more of a tomato salad with 5-6 mini mozzarella balls, which I thought was a shame. I also found 3 small slices of bread (the size of a baguette) for 2 starters rather economical. The sweet potato fries were good. The service was very overwhelmed when we arrived, as the entire restaurant was full but only staffed by two service employees and one employee, presumably from the kitchen, who had just helped. Nobody really had time for the guests and the pressure from the kitchen forced the employees to run very stressed. The cards were brought to the table quickly and if I hadn't ordered a drink straight away, the employee would have turned around straight away without picking anything up. The ambience was ok, except for the fact that the air could be cut due to the many hot stones and the lack of sufficient ventilation. The understandably stressed employees did their best, but of course they weren't really able to contribute anything to the improvement. As the boss of a restaurant, I would be out of my clothes if I let my employees run wild like that. So there is still a lot of room for improvement.

At the tel. Reservation is not said that the reservation is only for max. 2 hours. Then the food takes 40 minutes until it is on the table. And the second stone is on the table after 10 minutes. There won't be time for dessert! We certainly caught inattentive service. No explanation of the menu, no recommendation and the food from the friends at the next table came after just 10 minutes. The lady at the reception wasn't interested either... "She has no influence on the waiters" But... the food was good

Well-attended restaurant. Steaks were okay, but the side dishes tasted very good. The service lags behind and seems overwhelmed. We had to wait a very long time for our food. All in all, a solid store if the service were a little more attentive.

It's a great atmosphere and getting to the point yourself on a hot stone is something I can recommend to everyone

I ordered a 300g skirt steak at the steakhouse and it was really excellent. The steak was very tender. A particular highlight was the way it was served: you get a platter with side dishes and two stones - one hot and one cold. The meat is first served on the hot stone, then placed on the cold one, where you can cut it into pieces yourself and continue cooking on the hot stone to your own taste. This was a great experience that allows you to cook the steak to the exact point you prefer. Regarding the side dishes: Fries are included free of charge and can be refilled upon request, as can the additional side dishes ordered. Unfortunately, refilling the fries didn't work on our last order, so we had to enjoy the last pieces of meat without a side dish. The service at the table was very friendly. A small disadvantage is the grill cloud that surrounds the entire restaurant. The clothes smell like barbecue when you leave, which isn't necessarily pleasant. There are enough parking spaces available.

Have been here several times, both privately and for business. Again and again an absolute highlight. Today the waitress (her name is Semra) was a positive “on top” of the already really good food. Thanks for the lovely evening! We laughed a lot. I had the Argentinian entrecôte medium (400g), grilled vegetables and onion sauce. Everything delicious!!!

The concept is great. The meat, sauces and fries are also very tasty. However, if you order the creamed spinach with it, it is almost always cold or lukewarm when it arrives at the table. Last time it only came when the rest had almost been eaten and was still more than lukewarm. This is annoying because it has actually happened on several visits. In some cases you can reorder dishes and sauces for free, but unfortunately this usually takes quite a while, even if the location is not very busy. That's a shame for such a premium restaurant. This should be much quicker.

I know the competition and everyone can win against the Abacco Steakhouse. I don't want to badmouth the others, but AS are the undisputed number 1. Super-friendly staff, first-class food and I never have the feeling that something is too expensive. But above all I have to emphasize the warmth of the staff. You immediately feel like you are part of a community. Allergies, intolerances or special requests are no problem at all. That's what I want and that's what I get there and I don't know where else.

We ate at Abacco's Steakhouse because we found it through the Neotaste app. We thought the hot stone concept was great - as was the selection of dishes. We each had a US and an Argentine sirloin steak. The quality was really good and at 500g you get quite full. We also thought it was cool that you could easily reorder your sides. Since then we have been to Abaccos again 1-2 times and have not been disappointed. The service is super friendly, we always enjoy coming here!

Very cozy restaurant despite a lot of people, you're already used to the good food at Abacco ;) The service earns its tips with the great performance it provides. Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant was disappointing. • Waiter Tommi: Tommi seemed overwhelmed, disorganized and unsuitable for guest service. He confused everything, was very jittery and made numerous mistakes. • Unpleasant heat and whistling sound: There was an extremely hot gas heater next to our table that made us sweat profusely. In addition, the heater produced an unpleasant whistling sound that made sitting at the table unbearable. Despite repeated requests to the waiter Tommi to remove the heater or lower the temperature, nothing happened, even though he kept promising. It was only after 30 minutes that another waiter intervened and solved the problem with the heat. • Long waiting times: We waited 45 minutes for the menus because Tommi was initially taking care of a large group that had arrived at the same time. This meant we had to wait a total of 90 minutes for our food. • Missing dish: The 300g Enrico from Argentina I ordered was not available. However, I only received this information after the long wait, which added to the disappointment. This experience is in stark contrast to our previous visits to this restaurant chain, where we were always completely satisfied. Unfortunately, the chaotic process and poor service this time severely marred the entire restaurant experience.

I'm shocked. We have been here at least once a week for the last 3 years. The staff has changed recently and it was not a good decision by the management. The staff is very unfriendly and treats us like kindergarten teachers. I can't accept that for a place like this with prices like this.

We made reservations for 6 p.m., and shortly after 8 p.m. we received our first starters. After the order for 10 people is deleted and the new order is taken. My starter was the Abaccos Special Salad. This was a raw quarter head of lettuce poured over with Caesar sauce. Add bacon cubes instead of bacon cubes and very small egg cubes. Definitely not worth 10 euros. I've never had an appetizer that had so little love in it. The garlic bread was okay (also cold) but definitely not a highlight. When the main course arrived, all of the guests' fries were already cold, and the stone was brought lukewarm. To do this, the waitress placed the new hot stone directly on the old one covered with fat and sprayed me with the hot fat. About 10 minutes after the main course I had a stomach ache and had to go to the toilet. Afterwards I tried the Kaiserschmarn, which was also lukewarm. Conclusion from the evening. Everyone was disappointed with the service and the side dishes. The only good thing was the meat, the rest was unfortunately very disappointing. This restaurant experience was not the first that was so negative. However, this evening gets 2 stars from me even though I tend towards 1.5.

We were guests with 6 people and a small child. We were served very friendly, quickly and well. The food was very tasty and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely go to Abacco's again soon.

Yesterday there were 6 of us with one Toddler eating and it was just amazing. The food was very tasty, the meat was super tender and of great quality. All the side dishes, especially the salad and the potato gratin, were the best. We would particularly like to emphasize the service. No matter whether when taking the order, reordering side dishes, exchanging stones, recommendations. The staff is extremely attentive and quick. Of course we rewarded him with a big tip. We'll definitely be back and are really looking forward to it.

Seems very focused on efficiency. Prices too high for what is on offer. Service tried hard but was very short due to the maximum occupancy, slightly annoyed if you didn't immediately rattle off all the options you wanted for what you ordered. The winter garden is basically a better tent, very unevenly heated by gas mushrooms. Should simply be dismantled. That wasn't fun. Nice inside, but with maximum seating. The tipping suggestions range from sporty to outrageous; this should be solved more elegantly. It was recommended to us by friends, but we will not recommend the restaurant ourselves.

We went to this steakhouse based on a voucher and were pleasantly surprised. Both the steaks and the side dishes were great. The cocktails we ordered were also excellent. The service was very friendly. However, after the main course was presented, the attention waned. We found it a bit of a shame that the herb butter wasn't included with the steaks. I would have liked to have been able to choose herb butter instead of the dips that were served. The dips almost completely disappeared for us.

We waited 70 minutes for our food. In addition, the service (rear winter garden) was unfriendly. Charged us for something we didn't even order. And insisted that it was so. Disappeared with our bill for 20 minutes. The food was TOP as always! Service unfortunately poor.

Abaccos is always a wonderful experience and we enjoy being in Stuttgart or Frankfurt. But I have to say a big compliment to the service team, especially Vanessa - we have never been served so warmly all evening - thank you for that ❤️! Always happy to come back if we are in the area again!

We were looking forward to a lovely evening at ABACCO'S STEAKHOUSE, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food was good - I had the Argentinian rump steak for €21.90, my friend had the large Kikok chicken breast fillet for the same price. We each chose a side dish for €5.90, an apple spritzer for €3.50 and a fuze tea for €4.30. According to the menu, our meal would have cost €63.40. However, when we looked at the bill we noticed that an amount of €64.40 had been charged. I gave the waitress €66 and expected change. Instead, she took the difference of €1.60 as a tip without asking - an outrageous assumption, especially given the disappointing service. The waiting times were far too long: it took a very long time for both the drinks and the food to arrive. We also asked for a new, hot stone slab; This was recorded but never brought, which gave us the feeling that we had simply been forgotten. There were also complaints at the neighboring table. The gentleman there was served at the same time as his companion, but while he had already had his food, his companion's food didn't arrive until around 15 to 20 minutes later. The kitchen even had to bring the drinks because the service staff was noticeably overwhelmed. Taking tips for granted is unacceptable, especially with such poor service. If the restaurant has staffing problems, it would be wise to attract qualified employees through fair pay rather than losing guests through poor service. We will definitely not visit the steakhouse again and unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

I happened to be in this restaurant as I was staying at the hotel of the same name. Since the prices on the menu are great for a steakhouse, I thought I'd give it a try. I thought the concept of sizzling yourself on the stone was great and the meat was fantastic. Fries and sauces as much as you like round off the great concept. But the whole thing only works with great service. I think my waiter was called Tomy and he did a great job. Very friendly, attentive and above all super fast. Big praise💪 I'll advertise it and will definitely come back myself.

I gave it one star less because we had to wait a little over an hour until they served us. If you are going to delay like this, offer an appetizer of bread with oil, I know. The meat is very good indeed! They could add less sugar to the lemonade.

There were 6 of us there. The staff is overwhelmed and brings ordered items to the wrong tables. Sometimes we waited 30 minutes for our drinks and new hot stones because our meat was already cold. It's a shame that the prices are excessive and getting such a service is intimidating. It was also extremely smoky; your eyes started to burn and you could hardly breathe.
