Very good noodles with a great housemade sauce. We also had a nice beer that was apparently also housemade. The only little drawback is that the place is next to the street, so it can be a bit loud but the quality of the food really makes up for it. I can recommend very well.

Delicious noodles - the vegan versions are so good that you will not even miss meat! The service was also impressively fast with almost no waiting time. Would definitely recommend!

Quite the experience, the bowl is different from what you usually get with very thick noodles., tasted great. We took the second level of spicy which worked great. Spicy, but not too serious.

After eating Biang Biang noodles in Xi’an, China, I can confirm that Wen Cheng is just as good as the original in the birthplace of Biang Biang! You can choose your preferred spice level (beware: 3 out of 4 chilies is already super hot), and keep in mind that the dish is quite oily. Vegetarian friendly, and deliciousssss!

Very tasty chili noodles. Highly recommended if you're in the area and have a free seat.

I had the vegan option but with Asian spicy and trust me it was really spicy and delicious at the same time.

Best noodles in Berlin! I came here almost every week for the 2 years I lived in Berlin and never got tired of these delicious thick hand pulled noodles and yummy spicy broth!

The meat in the dumplings was rotten and stinky. I will never forget this experience.

I had dinner here with my girlfriend a while ago (months) and unfortunately, the evening is still pretty clearly (negatively) etched in my memory. The food was good, but the service was so abysmal (by the shift manager at the time) that I can't recommend the place at all. I didn't have a card payment ready for the meal – which was definitely my fault (note: only card payment or have the correct amount with you, because that's always an option). So I immediately tried to find a solution with the team there. They reacted rudely, disinterestedly, and offered no solutions other than threats and "just see what happens." During this time, I was definitely not rude and rather embarrassed. And I'm really someone who admits mistakes quickly and happily. I drove for a long time across town (while my girlfriend was sitting alone in the restaurant) trying to load money onto the card, which didn't work. In the end, my girlfriend politely asked a very nice customer next to us if he was paying by card and if she could give him the cash. Of course, no problem. But then the shift manager approached her rudely and said she could just pay the bill in cash. When she asked why this hadn't been mentioned earlier, she was told that the gentleman didn't like me. I'm shocked by this experience and definitely don't recommend it.

Super, super delicious noodles. Very rich flavor and well-seasoned. The staff are super efficient and very friendly.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Wen Chang! I had lamb noodles and my son chose a spicy version of the bite noodle, while we both shared their dumplings. Everything was incredibly tasty and well-balanced in flavors. The lamb noodles in particular were a favorite – so filling and flavorful! The spicy bite noodle had just the right amount of heat and was incredibly delicious. The dumplings were also a highlight, perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Asian flavors! Will definitely be back.

Had the classic meal beef Biang-Biang. It was a bit spicy (for a noob european like me), but boy it was delicious. I ate the whole thing. No words were exchanged with my friends after the food arrived until we were finished. Highly recommend.

I have heard through years about Wen Cheng in Berlin, and I finally got a taste of the famous hand pulled noodles. If you are cautious about oil, the Biang Biang noodles (we tried the Beef one and Lamb & Qumin) might be on the oily side, but extremely delicious and fulfilling. ⭐️ 100/10

Best noodles I've ever tried. A lot of really tender pieces of beef with delicious cause and of course unrepeatable noodles.

The "Wen Cheng" restaurants seem very hyped, which is also evident in the tourist crowd. As a Berliner, I waited for a while. The food was okay, but by no means special. The noodles had character, but barely absorbed the added oily sauce. Overly generous amounts of garlic and chili detracted from the flavor rather than enhanced it. In addition, the prices for the simple dishes are quite high. The service was fast and friendly.

We went for lunch due to the endless lines at the door, and it didn't take long to finally sit down. Although there aren't many options on the menu, the noodles are delicious and taste homemade. I'd say the meat is perhaps the best part of the bowl, as at least the lamb was super juicy. If you like this type of food, I think it's a sure bet, as the food is good and comes in a large portion (€16).

The wide ribbon noodles with the sauce and beef are truly delicious! The cucumber salad is also really good, albeit very spicy! It's generally spicy here, and really, really spicy! So be careful, this is authentic Chinese spice, not Germanized cuisine... I like it. However, I do think the price is quite high for the relatively small portion size.

I ate the best ever noodles I ever had at this Wen Cheng restaurant. We ordered their Lamb and Beef pulled noodles and they were so delicious!! Moreover, we ordered bao buns which were so delicious. Portions are big and reasonably priced. Food quality and taste was so good that I cannot eat anywhere else! I highly recommend this Wen Cheng restaurant.

Beautifully decorated small restaurant with an open kitchen. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was served within 5 minutes. The food was very fresh and delicious. The dishes are generally slightly spicy, but you can request four different spice levels if you prefer it spicier. The only minor drawback for me was the noise level in the restaurant due to the open kitchen and the crowds. You have to speak a bit loudly to be heard. All in all, highly recommended and delicious, definitely suitable for a quick, big appetite!

Great, everyone needs to try. Service at the highest level. We were served by a waiter (guy) everything that he recommended we liked. They were with the family, even the child had something to eat.

Very tasty noodles with a variety of side dishes, including beef, lamb, etc. Cucumber salad and bao are also very good. Overall, really delicious in a very urban atmosphere.

Best chinese noodles I’ve ever tried, they were really good and spicy. I would recommend getting the cucumber salad, it’s so delicious. We also had their beer and was great, very nice place.

Lamb cumin noodles were a bit oily but very aromatic and delicious. The staff was very attentive and gave all the suggestions.

Wow! The food, the service, watching the cooks work and being able to have an emotion rollercoaster having some sssspppicccyyy (spicy) noodles! This is the place to be for quality food fun and Sharp efficient and friendly service... A spppicccy biang bang noodles with lamb and extra aubergine, and a chicken bao left me in heaven with tears in my eyes because of how good and spicy it was. Love this place, bring your friends, bring your bebecita, your mamichula, bring your partner, bring you granddaddy, your autie your granny, and enjoy!! Only downside : None Nada Nothing Get your ass here! Also price decent, considering it's such a textured and layered dish... Well price considering the cost of other food around, since you leave being filled...

Pull noodle are super good!!! Really recommended. We ate asian spicy level of spiciness. It was perfect but a bit suffer on the next day. Anyway it was sosososo good. I have been there so many times!

The noodles are way too thick, the overall dining experience and taste are average at best. It seems popular mostly due to social media hype, but honestly, it’s seriously overpriced for what it is. Wouldn’t recommend.

The bao is a standout—creative, nicely prepared, and a fun complement to the main course. That said, the experience overall felt somewhat overhyped, especially considering the price point of over €15 per dish. The staff, while not unfriendly, seemed disengaged and not particularly helpful, which detracted from the hospitality one might expect at this level. The atmosphere also felt a bit rushed, and while the interior design is sleek and modern, the overall ambience leans toward industrial and impersonal. In short: good food, but the service and vibe don’t quite match the buzz or the price.

Noodle is decent, good but that is about it.. The people who serve it, however, are just snobbish acting or indifferent. I wonder if they are just decoys for the style or do they understand customer service? Guess i’ll never find out.

Beef was ok, noodles were awesome. The chicken bao was nothing special. This place was a must-do on YT. So I was a little underwhelmed. The server was amazing (Vosko) would class it as a “cheap casual eat”. But also House of Dumplings is and their product is better.

Easily the best hand pulled noodles I’ve ever had. The noodles have the most perfect texture and the sauce that goes with it is so umami and savory. Would recommend this spot in a heartbeat and can’t wait to be back in Berlin to eat them.

Very dissapointing experience. Of course, you won’t get anything better in Germany but for an Asian this biang biang noodles were nothing but average. Beef were not tender, sauce was a weird mix. They forgot to serve us drinks so overall it was just 3 stars and way overhyped

We just ordered from you guys and the delivery guy pretty much slammed the order at us & left. The box is open the sauce has flown out of the box, the paper bag is soggy. This is awful. Please take some responsibility of your packaging. Already your food is overpriced. How do we know if the food hadn’t fallen on some pavement or his car seat & he just shoved it back into the box?!!!!!!! This is shameful!

Yesterday I visited this place with my partner and we loved it. It was very crowded, but despite that, the service and attention were quick, and the food was spectacular. We will definitely return again this week.

Nothing like some flavorful hand pulled noodles. I got the dry noodles and mind you they are spicy :) 2 vegan/vegetarian options for both noodles and the bao. There might be a bit of a wait but don’t be intimidated by the lines, it moves quickly :) Also, there are 3 or 4 locations in Berlin so you could always go somewhere else.

We visited Wen Cheng Hand Pulled Noodles and really enjoyed the experience. We ordered the tofu and shiitake biang biang, the aubergine with vegan minced meat, a tofu Sichuan bao, and their special Shifu beer. The flavors were bold and authentic, and everything was super fresh. A quick tip — the spice level is very accurate. I wouldn’t recommend increasing it unless you’re absolutely sure you can handle it! We underestimated it and ended up ordering plain baos to help tone it down. The service was impressively fast, and the atmosphere was friendly and lively. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for flavorful, spicy hand-pulled noodles in a casual, buzzing setting.

I have to say, I've loved it for years, but it's gotten worse every time. It's either way too spicy, or way too mild, cold, almost no sauce at all, way too much sauce... Once it was so spicy (I've tried all the spice levels and know how hot each one is) that it was truly inedible, even though it was only level two. The quality has drastically declined, and unfortunately, no one cares. If you have it delivered, you can't give feedback...

Simple best original way of serving food. Simple, not lots of ingredients and quite textured and flavorful. I love the bin bin beef spicy but the vegetarian option of tofu and mushrooms is also amazing! For starting I would go with the kind of bao with fried chicken or the cucumber salad

Last week I got the wtf spicy menu . I would never recommend it if you have a sensitive stomach. It was not tasty at all and the wtf menu is a pain that should never be tried.

When we went to Berlin for the May long weekend, we planned what we wanted to see and where to go in terms of tourist attractions. We had to decide spontaneously about food and restaurants. But there was one place that we had checked out earlier and that we definitely wanted to go to for Asian food - Wen Cheng. On the recommendation of friends who enjoyed their hand-stretched noodles, we had to stop by while sightseeing. We were ready to stand in line to be seated at a table. Luckily, we didn't have to wait (we were there shortly after opening) and we were able to sit outside (the weather was perfect then). Our son said that he had never eaten such a delicious dish before (and he had tasted various specialties in different places in Europe). REVELATION! We ordered the classic one with beef and the vegetarian one with eggplant tempura. Delicious! Super seasoned, served quickly. Plus original rice beer. Even now, when I remember these flavors, my salivary glands start working harder... And although we ate in several great places during our stay in Berlin, and although we had eaten this type of dish with original, hand-stretched pasta before (e.g. in Gdynia), we will remember this place for a long time and we will most likely want to come back! And the inscription above the urinal in the toilet blew me away 😜 (see photos). Whoever doesn't go there to eat is an ass!
